    And for most of the negative comments yoga is a spiritual science to be open to receive first & while you are not grateful for anything knowledgeable it’s not possible to gain any benefit.

    Very well explained the root cause of acid reflux. While I really loved the yoga remedies you explained I must say some of them are really advanced and not safe for a beginner. For a beginner, abdominal breathing and poses like Tadasana, Cobra etc with stress on deep breathing will be the safe ones to practice assuming they are practiced in an appropriate sequence. Keep up the good work.

      You are right. This video is intended for knowledge purpose. That is why I stress the point yogic practices should be learned from yoga teachers, ofcourse not through TH-cam 😀

    Mam when you are teaching Sheethkari you are showing Sadantha pranayama. Sheethkari is folding the tip of the tongue backwards and clench it with teeth.

      Thanks for your feedback and bringing this to discussion. Please note different schools have formulated and evolved these practices over time. Folding the tongue backwards is refered as Jihva bandha. Please check out Hatha Yoga Pradeepika by Swatmarama, original translation by Jyotsna ( I mean any Hatha yoga Pradeepika book with no additional commentary) . Sheetali is explained as folding the tongue and Inhaling through folded tongue. 🙏

    If one’s neval is shifted left side of stomach and also facing heartburn and burning sensation in throat then jaanusirsanansa is ok to do it ? Please guide.❤🙏🏽

      Good question. Infact it depends on how you perform Janu sirasasana. As per the tradition I learned you should not twist your body during Janu siras, both legs has to be at right angles with a forward fold such that your torso aligns with the leg stretched forward. Should not stretch the leg sideways adding a lateral element to it.

    These poses are for experienced Yoga practitioners not for someone who suffers from gastrointestinal reflux who has never done yoga. Bottom line this video is useless for the majority of people. Not everyone is a yogi. Sorry but you missed the target...

      Thanks for sharing your view. I agree those images can make us feel those are unachievable poses. But look at the breathing part which you can learn from a yoga teacher. When it comes to asanas, the goal is not to reach the posture but the journey towards it which brings transformation in your body.

      Thanks for your feedback. Pranayama part is more important. Asanas are not dealt in detail as it is to be learned from yoga teacher so they are just indicative.

      Thanks for sharing your view. Ofcourse these practices cannot be a substitute for your medical treatment. But strengthening your internal organs has been proved to achieve through yoga in the long run. Never do asanas from a youtube video. You should be learning it from a teacher.
