Thank you Esther! I am so happy you found the channel and you like the workouts, and my explanation of things! Keep up the great work! Take care and stay healthy, Meredith
Just completed this as I watched you. Fantastic and thank you so much. I’m a 75 year old senior male that just gave up my gym membership due to the virus. I got a box of 11 resistance bands with no real directions. Those bands worked great.
Hi Paul! So great to hear you enjoyed the workout!! Thank you so much for the comment and your support:) Keep up the great work! Take care and stay healthy, Meredith
I was thinking, as I was doing this particular program, that these exercises are no more strenuous than things I have done in the past and yet they seem to go more smoothly, even while there is resistance so that I get a good workout. I believe it has to do with the *breathing*. When I think back to the past, when I had a gym membership and was taught weight training, I received good instruction about proper body alignment, keeping joints safe, etc... But I realized that none of my instructors ever talked about breathing and how to employ it as part of the exercise- like exhaling while doing the more strenuous half of a particular exercise; while working against the resistance. Proper breathing certainly makes a difference in ones stamina and no doubt aids in good oxygenation as well! Thanks, yet again Meredith, for your instructional style!
I’m still watching your videos regularly. The resistance band sessions still seem to be my favorites. I rotate them and do one about 3 to 4 times a week. I use an elliptical machine on other days. Thanks again for helping me improve my exercise regime during these very unusual times!
I am so proud of you! So glad you found the bands workouts, and they are helping you as you enjoy them each week. Keep up the amazing work! Take care and stay healthy, Meredith
Hello, friends. This was really good for my body. This is my second workout this week. Last week I reported ti my campus and did not find the time to exercise but I missed it so much. I will be retiring this year so I am looking forward to the live streams once I have more me time. Love from Laredo, Texas💖
Thank you so much Elsa for the comment! I am so proud that you have gotten a couple workouts in this week. I know how difficult it is when working. You will make the time, and the time will definitely come after retirement:) Have a great day in Laredo! Take care, Meredith
Hi Terry! Please feel free to email me through my website. We can talk more in depth. www.SeniorFitnessWithMeredith.com Thank you!! Talk soon! Meredith
Wow! What a workout. I can feel it all over. It works out every part of my body. Not what one would think of when you hear seated senior’s exercises.😉 Love it and appreciate all that you are doing for all of us. Approximately how long does it take after doing a variety of your resistance band exercise workouts every day until you can see a difference.😊
Oh I’m so happy you enjoyed the workout. As for your question there is no one answer. So keep working hard, feel good and be safe, and you will feel and see results soon:) Take care, Meredith
Hi again, Meredith! Tried this exercise today. I may walk this evening in lieu of an aerobic video. I’m getting at least 20 minutes or more of some kind of exercise each day, in no small part because of you. I like the exercises that tone the backs of my arms aka my “wings.” I’ll never be a model but I’d like to at least firm up what I have. I have the dreaded apple-shaped body. Never was able to do much with it when I tried. Do you have any exercise to at least give me some semblance of a waist?
Hi!! Thank you for the comment:) Great job with the workouts today, and hope you got a walk in. As far as exercises for the waist, cardio and getting the heart rate up to lose fat in the body; then toning with core/abdominal work. But remember overall health is really the best thing, not spot specific training:) Keep me posted on other workouts you do, and how you like them! And keep up the great work! Take care and stay healthy, Meredith
Really have enjoyed your videos. I’ve done several of them and repeat them, too. Do you have any that target the abdominals a little more? Been recommending your you tube site to my friends. Jerry Lynn
Hi Lynn! I appreciate your comment, and recommending my channel to your friends! As for your question, here are a couple links for some core work: Back and core: th-cam.com/video/Hm-9m91ZjK0/w-d-xo.html Advanced cardio and core: th-cam.com/video/GD4XbozHNSw/w-d-xo.html Thank you again! Meredith. I love your workouts. However, I don't understand why there are several water breaks in a less than a 25 minute workout !! It really breaks up the momentum and seems so unnecessary to me.!!!!Again, I still like and appreciate what you do.
Hi Vicki! Thank you for watching the videos and enjoying them! I appreciate it so much! I also appreciate your comment. As far as water breaks are concerned, I include many because the rate of dehydration in the senior community is quite high. And sometimes the only water that is taken in is during a workout. So, I do feel it is my job to make sure I give that time AND, more importantly, remind the viewer to drink water and stay hydrated. Again, thank you Vicki, for the comment/question. (During the water breaks you can always march in place or do another movement of your choice to "keep it moving":)) Keep up the great work! Take care, Meredith
Thank You! 🙌🏼
Thank you. I enjoy your exercises. You explain which muscle groups we are targeting. What I like best is that you don't take a long time in the intro.
Thank you Esther! I am so happy you found the channel and you like the workouts, and my explanation of things!

thank you I need to get new bands:)
Thank you! Yes, bands go quickly, especially when they are used often:)
I am combining several of your workouts at a time. Do you have a suggestion for which ones and in what order? Thanks!

I love that my lower back is supported by the chair.❤
So great!! And happy you enjoyed the workout:) Take care!
This is my go to band exercise! Can we get one that’s a bit longer but still seated?
I will work on that, thank you for the support!
The water breaks are appreciated. I never drink enough water. Every time the water break comes up, I press pause and drink a whole glass.
That is great Paul! Keep that up, such a good reminder to have. You know I believe in water breaks;)
Take care, Meredith

Thank you!!
What’s the name of this workout
Seated strength with bands
It wrapped around my ponytail and ripped my hair out from the root. Be careful and make sure your hair is not down, lol!
Yes, always be careful when using any equipment!!
