This is why I don't like Disney Luke. He can forgive anakin and Vader for everything he did but when he senses darkness in his nephew he doesn't try to save him just jumps straight to execution. It makes him feel like a completely different person.
I never understood why Anakin trusted Sidious in him saying he had the power to save Padme and that he would save her if he turned to the dark side and did his bidding. I mean he saw when Palpatine said “ from certain death” with that evil smile , he should have known then that Palpatine was planting these fearful dreams in his head so that he would think Padme was going to die from childbirth. Anakin turned to the dark side and ruined his life all because he was too ignorant to see that Palpatine was a truly evil man that was only going to use him for his power and never had any intention of “ helping save his wife”

It was Cope, ironically in the Revenge of the Sith Novelization Anakin himself Admitted that truth, that there was no vader and only anakin skywalker, and Vader created that lie so he could detach himself from his life as anakin so he could deal with his suffering making himself a monster so he could bring the same pain he feels just by being the man he hates the most, the man who took everything from.....himself
They are not split. We know that for a fact. Vader is simply his darkness, the shadow we all have, his "Ubermensch",his Heisenberg etc. He got consumed by the worst in him But he doesn't qualify for split personality at all. People with ACTUAL different personalities have different memories, things they enjoy and dont enjoy.
Yeah, like I keep seeing people say that Vader and Anakin are somehow different people. No,.they're the same person, someone throwing out their morals doesn't make them a different person and it's never made it seem like Vader was a new personality that took over.
I *LOVE* that you mention Anakin/Vader being held in chains.... because the Sith code says... Peace is a lie. There is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall set me free.
I think symbolically they can represent two sides of the same person, but they are the same person. Anakin made his choice to kill the Jedi and those younglings to gain power and save his wife, which he cared more about than all the other beings in the galaxy combined, that was both Vader and Anakin. Choosing the light or dark is something you do actively, in a fleeting moment you can get carried away, but Order 66 was more than a moment and was done with intention. To say the dark side itself is the real enemy and not those who use it is a cop out, basically using it as a boogie man and scapegoat. Saying you can separate Vaders darkness with Anakins light tries to absolve him of responsibility, it’s like saying you can do the same with Sidious and Palpatine, you can’t though.
The issue with this way of thinking is that it fails to realize The Force itself, light and dark, has a very real will of it's own and can absolutely mess with people's personalities and thinking if it so chooses. In fact Anakin himself was born from The Force as an act of _retaliation_ against Plaugeis and Sidious trying to control everything The Force was. What happened to them afterwards? They both died by the very hands they created and trained, Plagueis by Sidious and Sidious by Vader. That's as vengeful as you get. Even outside of those events, Jedi are trained fairly explicitly to let The Force itself will their movements to attack and defend, with their knowledge of saber forms just being channels through which the force chooses to do it, so there is less of a physical blockade between them. That's what "Sinking into The Force" is. It's allowing The Force itself to puppet you in the hopes it decides you should win the fight. The Dark Side on the other hand is all about messing with your emotions and your mind. Darth Momin's mask was so filled with dark side energy, that just being around it would turn most people into killers regardless of their personal will or not. The Son corrupted Ahsoka with The Dark Side like it was a poison, and the number of planets so full of dark side energy that you'd basically become a sith just by walking there is nuts. Not to mention that at various times the Dark Side incarnates itself in one way or another just to screw with your beliefs and pull you into it. Knowing that The Light Side is basically acts as a puppeteer and The Dark Side as a parasite, I don't think it's fair to say that treating Vader like a separate entity is a "cop out" for Anakin. Vader is someone different because he's Anakin with hindered judgement, understanding and motives driven by literal evil. That's why even Qui Gon views Darth Vader as a separate entity when he's a Force Ghost, because the corruption of the Dark Side runs so deep that he's not really Anakin anymore. He's just a Dark Side shell. Anakin, however, still isn't absolved of his responsibility because through his actions he INVITED that evil into him. The Dark Side got in because of his stubbornness and ignorance, so all the tragedies that take place afterwards are still on him because he opened the door. Palpatine, from what we know about him, was a manipulator since his childhood so him becoming Sith is essentially just expressing who he was as a person before becoming a sith.
I am sure by ROTS Timeline that Anakins child(ren) were the only ones he valued over Padme if he was given a choice between saving one or another with no suicide attemps I am sure his offspring(s) would be his top picking especially because of there potentials in the force matching his own yeah.
@@mitchbaker5995 You're referring to the Revenge of the Sith Novelization, which is Non-canon now. I believe the closest we have is "Family At War" which treats Vader and Anakin as separate entities, or at the very least a mind with a side in the light and a side in the dark battling for dominance.
tbh I find a literal interpretation of them being separate personalities to be very uncompelling. It takes away from Palpatine's manipulation if the core personality of Anakin came away from that without falling to the dark side. From a thematic point of view it doesn't fit Anakin's story arc. It's a tragedy of how someone with good intentions fell to evil, and retroactively lays some of the groundwork for his redemption in the original trilogy. I think there's some merit to Luke's reading of the situation if it's taken to be symbolic or in the context of the power that the dark side of the Force wielded over Anakin. Not if it's read literally, like he's denying that what he saw was Anakin's doing at all. It was Anakin who carried it out, who believed that at that moment, it's what he _needed_ to do, whether convinced by himself, by Palpatine, or by the Force. However, saying that no sith feels any love for those around them seems pretty strange in that context. Sith thrive on negative emotion, but that does not mean they can't feel or act out of positive emotion. If Palpatine couldn't love, how could he _understand_ the concept of love enough to corrupt Anakin? So I'd say that it was a way for Luke to cope with what he'd seen. That's not to say his conclusion that Anakin should not be blamed is unreasonable however. Anakin chose to sacrifice himself for Luke in the end, demonstrating that his affinity for the dark side was not as absolute as it was for someone like Palpatine. The Force is a very tangible thing in the Star Wars universe, and it certainly acts on people's wills. So it's not difficult to see an argument for Anakin acting out of a misguided sense of love and loyalty to Padme and their children until he'd lost everything, and then that loving part of him resurfacing when he sees Palpatine torture Luke. Everything in between would then have been more of a bad dream than anything else, being functionally a puppet for the will of the dark side in absence of anything he truly values above himself. It's reasonable to blame Anakin, but it's also reasonable not to blame him. However, I think it's unreasonable to not blame him if the reason for that is just "that's not Anakin".
Luke Skywalker is just a good natured guy who likes to see the best in people that’s all. Anakin is lucky that he has a son who is so kind hearted 🤷🏾♂️✅.
Luke is just as much of Padme's son as he is Anakin's. Padme always saw the good in people and he inherited those genes which made it easier for him to center himself in the light side of the force.
Seemed more like luke lived a humble and well grounded life until 20yrs. He didn't go through as much trauma in his formative years compared to his dad (who was doing dangerous jedi missions with Obi-Wan at 13 yrs old)and wasn't pestered with visions of impending doom for loved ones that came true.
@@carlitosway917 and whats the excuse for child muder, I can excuse all the other evil deed he did as "vader, cop out IMO" but he went from jedi to kid killer way to easy for me then the muder of his wife yeah he took to muder like a fish to water the man never deserved the "good" ending he got, killed hundreds maybe millions but gets to live forever in the end, but those younglings just died poof gone no immortality in the force like their murder. but I understand all your points. I just hate how he gets a pass on litterly some of the worst things someone can do cause at the end he said sorry...
I just like how luke is the vision of a new age. A new time. The older generations are stuck in their old ways. In the old ways that made them lose to the sith. A new generation is needed for regrowth because the new is not stuck in the past. The new is willing to take risks to make actual change that the old generations were unwilling to implement. As u can see, im trying to connect this to real world events. But its true either way. Luke is not stuck in the past, he looks to the future instead. He is willing to forgive but never forget.
The best jedi and grandmaster at the time couldn't save him. His master couldn't save him. His padawan couldn't save him. But his son could save him. Luke is something else.
Great video and yes Anakin during the attack on the temple and later on Mustafar is basically a suit less Vader in Anakin's body, the dragon that has always been inside Anakin comes out to play and does so for the next 20 years. So can completely understand why Luke is able to rationalise and forgive his father for the crimes, he committed during order 66.
I wonder if Anakin would of turned to the dark side a lot longer and far rapider if he got visions of his children dying i childbirth instead of his Wife I guess he probably would his Children seemed to be the only ones he valued more then Padme maybe aside from His Mother And Qui Gon yeah.
I think Luke had a good reasoning but he missed a crucial aspect. Anakin wasn’t balanced, he couldn’t be balanced because the dogmatic jedi teachings were about giving yourself to the light without question and not the force itself. Anakin and vader while different ppl in balance they are one and the same. Something we saw in ahsoka. Luke was right anakin was shackled by his vader persona but a balanced anakin would have aspects of both. Because there is no way to be a warrior/soldier in a war and not end give yourself to that aspect of yourself to truly end the conflict. The Jedi of the time were hypocritical, they were pursuing the conflict on the front lines but didn’t want the responsibility of being soldiers as it wasn’t in their nature and in doing so were unable to end the conflict/war. Anakin saw that and that’s what brought out vader. I would’ve liked luke to recognize that. And this Luke is far better than sequel luke because he never gives up on hope.
There is a thing with multiple personality disorder and Anakin reeks of it. his deep fear of losing the people he loves, on top of having a strong connection to the people he loves (Obi-Wan, Padmé, Ahsoka) is really what gave birth to the Vader persona, on top that nobody nurtured his "feelings" the Jedi were just like "LOL, no, just don't feel, easy" with Yoda literally saying "just let go, otherwise you'll go to the dark side" In a sense, Anakin did bring balance to the force, since there was an over abundance of light vs dark. at the time during the clone wars, there was, Palpatine, Maul, Savage, Ventress and Dooku as the dark side users. (likely also the night sisters, since their form of "magic" is basically the dark side) while the light had the entire jedi order, with it constantly still growing, it's like the sun vs the moon in size. so when Order 66 happened, out of nowhere, instead of having thousands of Jedi around supporting the light side, you can 10-20 at best (maybe 30 if you're generous) with Vader still actively hunting the Jedi, so that number was shrinking, granted, the dark side can't ever grow too big since how power hungry and paranoid the sith tend to be. with the whole "rule of 2" means that there can't be more than 2 sith at a time, if there are 3, someone has to die, while the Jedi was steadily increasing their size.
I agree. Anakin was enslaved by Darth Vader. Anakin was somewhere else.Obi-Wan was right too. He loved Anakin so much. And he thought Vader destroyed Anakin too. Luke is completely like Padme😊Compassion, love, empathy. Luke saw how things really are. May the Force be with you too😊 Have amazing day too😊
I’m honestly thinking that someone should do a fan film of Operation Nightfall. There are the scenes from some of the Disney+ shows, but there’s still plenty of stuff to explore. And there’s plenty of lightsaber combat, for the amateur saber choreographers.
I'm sorry to keep going back to this ya'll but see THIS is the Luke that we all know and love not the one we got from the sequels and it doesn't even make sense how this Luke could or even would become the hopeless jaded Jedi master that we got.
its really neet that we see various characters who have different feelings and interpretations of annakin and vader. i personally side with luke on the matter while doing my best to keep him responsible but just like in the starwars community even the characters of the story have different opinions on the subject.
Just remember Kathleen Kennedy straight up look at a camera and said "There's no source material," Kennedy said. "We don't have comic books. We don't have 800-page novels. We don't have anything other than passionate storytellers who get together and talk about what the next iteration might be.
The whole Vader being a split personality piece is the biggest cope I've ever seen in this franchise. We hold people criminally liable for the actions they take and the choices they make while drunk or high. Anakin had a really bad day on top of having a really hard life, but he still chose to embrace the dark side and never made any meaningful effort to change in the years that followed despite how bad he supposedly felt inside his traumatized mind. People want to rob Anakin of his own agency just to excuse his atrocities, and it's really gross and pathetic. Actions are what define you, not thoughts and feelings.
I remember that R2 showed these recordings under duress. Due to manufacturer codes being used on him by a character. Really gotta delve back into that trilogy, I don't remember it going down like that. Great video.
People should read Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth series and understand how Lucas and he collaborated on the idea of the force. No doubt Luke Skywalker could forgive his lost father's hopes and visions, in the hero's adventure comes discovery and with true discovery comes understanding and forgiveness.
I have an idea about future content. I saw something on CBR about an upcoming Star Wars comic book. (I believe it's either for Star Wars Day or Free Comic Book Day). According to the article on CBR, the story of the new comic book is set between the events of Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and has Sabe (former handmaiden of Padme Amidala) searching for Luke, and it looks like Luke will learn about his mother. It also mentions Sabe telling Luke how Padme never gave up on Anakin, and how that might be a reason why Luke never gave up on Anakin.
That's like saying Voldermort wasn't to blame for killing The Potters and trying to kill Harry. Oh the prophecy forced Voldermort to kill Harry he didn't have a choice.
its quite interesting that even afther such a long time r2d2 still have memorys of aniken and the clone war considering of the custome or rule to whipe astromec droids memories. could you potentialy make a video covering this @The Stupendous Wave?
Only 3PO's memories were wiped. Also I'm certain R2 had independently created a memory backup somewhere. Seems like something he'd do, considering he was as much a rule-breaker as Anakin was.
@@SigTheSauceMan during the clone wars there was the rule to whipe the memorys, and its also mentioned that its atleast custome to whipe the memorys of the astromecs during the new republic era.
I recall Astromech droids routinely having their memories wiped after every deployment to prevent the Empire from gaining any Rebel intelligence. But I also recall that R2-D2 was the exception, since he was so important.
Which part of the Dark Nest Trilogy is this specifically from I, II or III? Because I didnt see any mentions of a Large Jedi Master on the wiki page of either one of these books
Sith tend to specialize in creating split personalities in Jedi. This is what happened to Anakin. Dooku on the other hand was of a saner mind with a singular personality. He may have had two names but he clearly didn't seem to have a split personality. The same can be said of Palpatine. Poor Anakin. If only there had been proper mental health care available to the Jedi lol.
Vader is merely a mask. Anakin has been responsible through it all. Anakin or "Vader" hated himself for decades because he knew fully well what evil he, Anakin chose to commit out of his lust for power and control. Only to prove he had neither. That is, until he chose to stand against Sidious in protection of his son. Finally vulnerable, and choosing not to allow fear to rule him.
I love how much of Star Wars depends mostly on R2D2's decision......what is up with that droid? Can you think of a droid that appears to be more force sensitive than R2? Seriously, I know they aren't supposed to be, but the little guy seems to have all the answers lol.
As someone who was abandoned by my father before I was born and just recently cut off ties with my mother who has been over 95% absent in my life (I'm 47) I take a very dim view of parents that make terrible and or horrible decisions. Master Luke is far more forgiving than I.
I think the only way you can really look at anakin is as a weopon formed by the force. Whichever force user that can manipulate him controls him. His entire life he was manipulated and molded one way or another. The Jedi had there hand in it and palpatine was manipulating him from day one. Jedi were playing checkers and palpatine was playing chess and was in the long game of control of anakin. It was the love of Luke that metaphorically broke his chains and litterally freed anakin of being a slave/weapon
We humans have all these things that can change our personalities to the extreme. Hormones, chemical imbalances in our brain and so on. In the sw universe the force is another factor that can affect someone's possibility. We should try to explain it with our real world knowledge like we try.
How Luke WATCHED ORDER 66 and Why He Didn't Blame Anakin - he watched order 66 by opoening his eyes and viewing what was going on. He didn't blame anakin because he just didn't lol
Vader is an act for Palpatine, invoked by hopelessness Once hope is reignited, Anakin no longer needs to pretend But I do believe Anakin became a Sith You can’t kill innocent kids and not be warped
I am in critical disagreeance with that thought process, they is like saying Hilter did attempt at slaying an cultures. Dark Vader is apart of Anakin hence it was their unified choice to commit these acts...Maybe if they had slain Sidious and became the Dark Lord, being evil towards evil, instead slaughtering the innocence that would have been a better fate then what should befall Anakin.
You made a few mistakes in this video. Artoo never wanted to show Luke the events of Operation Knightfall or anything else from Revenge of the Sith. While they were in the Killik prison, Alema Rar used a code that forced Artoo to reveal his most securely hidden file without knowing what that might be. Han figured that the Operation Knightfall footage was hidden so deeply because it proved that Artoo was guilty of high-level espionage that would've gotten him dismantled on the spot under Imperial law.
HMMM! So Anakin didn't have a choice! It wasn't his fault. His son doesn't blame him for order 66! Anakin is to blame. He craved power! His craving didn't start when he started having dreams of Padme dying and him wanting to stop her from dying in child birth! He lust and craving for power was formed his years as a child slave. He wanted revenge! He wanted power for that revenge!
See it’s shit like this that makes me hate the Disney sequels even more. Pre era Disney like wouldn’t have even considered doing what he did to kylo for even a split second…
To me Luke was always the freedom that Anakin and Vader required, Luke was the Jedi that Anakin always wanted to be and it was the love of Luke that truly set Anakin free. Vader and Anakin are different persons.. that's true, but Anakin always was the victim, used.. mistreated and not given the help and care he truly needed, that's something I will always believe in. Luke not blaming Anakin is a true testimonial truth to the love Luke had for his father, he was mature and sensible enough to know the wrong doings Anakin did as Vader, but regardless Anakin would only be set free by his son, his son helped him out in ways any parent would truly be blessed by. Luke is and always will be the true hero of Star Wars. Fought for freedom, was wise and heroic.. Luke is my all time fav character in Star Wars after Anakin, father and son duo.. can't think of anything better.
The split personality was an excuse for him to escape his own evil atrocities Anakin was Anakin when he did what he did Vader and Anakin one and the same. At the end of the day, Anakin was always a slave that refused to free himself from his own mental bondage.
Forced induced bipolar diagnosis by Dr. Luke Skywalker. In short. It was the will of The Force which created Anakin as well as Darth Vader. Yet, if the power of The Force is truly infinite. It should have been able to find a better way to rid the universe of Sideous than a long con game with so much suffering, and I don't mean the suffering of those in the Jedi Temple.
Yeah no it was his fault as was his fault he could even after killing Mace he could have not gone though with it and ran off into hiding with Padme. I do think Padme would forgive Anakin for killing Mace. Or he could have gone to Kenobi and try to get Yoda and the three of them even go against Palpatine and the clones.
Leia Han and the others follow that trend until they understood why Luke forgave Anakin Skywalker and they finally new Anakin Skywalker was a victim of manipulation the true villain is the Chancellor and he used Anakin Skywalker
I HATE Anakin, and I'm beginning to hate the way they wrote how Luke is so forgiving of his father's decades long genocide. You can't think of another instance in life where someone like Vader (an authoritarian despot who has committed genocide for decades) suddenly gets this pass of grace and forgiveness just because they saved their own child which any other animal does. It's not special. It's not unique. I don't know why the writers and the fans bend over backwards and go through the most insane mental gymnastics and cognitive dissonance to explain away Anakin's murderous decades long genocide. It's insane. Watch the people in the comments make excuses for it, explain how Vader and Anakin are "different people" (like he has Disassociative Identity Disorder) or romanticize it like he "did it for love". Padme literally DIED OF HEARTBREAK when she found out what he had done in her name. She saw him for the monster he became and it DESTROYED/KILLED her. Why can't you guys? 🤦🏾♂️
ya thats not exactly true as even if he had a multi personality disorder they are the same being just different aspect’s.also it was a choice granted he felt like he had no choice but a choice is still a choice no matter the results or the rational behind it as ultimately he chose the dark side it didn’t nor does it ever choose brings it simply is.much like”good”or”evil”in the real world.if you have a medical condition or problem and don’t have seek help and you know it’s there that is in fact a choice,so is alcohol and drugs and anything else.it can be influenced obviously but it is ultimately a choice.and yes know it is fictional but even in this case it’s also a choice.we all make choices good bad and everything in between and to say he”wasn’t in control of his actions.”is not only stupid but also not true.you can argue he felt he had no choice and you can say he wasn’t in his right mind but again just like in the real world he made his final real choice the second he killed mace as up until that point most of it is poor decisions at times but not anything to be truly condemned.we all make mistakes but i can not urge you all enough to think before you act and to take full responsibility for your actions.this has been brought to you by logic.thats logic go fucking get some. 6:47
I think a better interpretation on Lukes line of thinking is that anyone that most people that fall to the dark side have been pushed there by their masters, yes it is still Anakins choice, but would he have fallen to the dark side or did any of those horrible things without Palpatine saying there is no other way and egging him on? I don't think so, a good sith lord can get someone to serve them even when it goes against their beliefs.

Anakin even admits it himself that vader was just a persona he used to cope with his own actions

You are awesome sir. You are wonderful at choosing stories to tell and great at showing everything on the subject. Have a great day
The best jedi and grandmaster at the time couldn't save him.
His master couldn't save him.
His padawan couldn't save him.
But his son could save him.
Luke is something else.
(Also why the rey trilogy makes zero sense in that he attacks his nephew bc he was tempted by the dark side once, now he must die)
Like any father, they would do anything to keep their father's safe.
Would have* not would of
I think Luke had a good reasoning but he missed a crucial aspect.
There is a thing with multiple personality disorder and Anakin reeks of it.
his deep fear of losing the people he loves, on top of having a strong connection to the people he loves (Obi-Wan, Padmé, Ahsoka) is really what gave birth to the Vader persona, on top that nobody nurtured his "feelings" the Jedi were just like "LOL, no, just don't feel, easy" with Yoda literally saying "just let go, otherwise you'll go to the dark side"
In a sense, Anakin did bring balance to the force, since there was an over abundance of light vs dark.
at the time during the clone wars, there was, Palpatine, Maul, Savage, Ventress and Dooku as the dark side users. (likely also the night sisters, since their form of "magic" is basically the dark side)
while the light had the entire jedi order, with it constantly still growing, it's like the sun vs the moon in size.
so when Order 66 happened, out of nowhere, instead of having thousands of Jedi around supporting the light side, you can 10-20 at best (maybe 30 if you're generous)
with Vader still actively hunting the Jedi, so that number was shrinking, granted, the dark side can't ever grow too big since how power hungry and paranoid the sith tend to be.
with the whole "rule of 2" means that there can't be more than 2 sith at a time, if there are 3, someone has to die, while the Jedi was steadily increasing their size.
you always have actual interesting topics ... things htat i didnt konw about
Yes Luke is understanding about the dark side and redemption. Now if Vader was sleeping in a bed and he got a bad feeling then instant death😅😅😅
Forreal, the sequels butchered him, they really reverse-character developed Luke 💀
You're confusing him with Jake Skywalker
That was only so Disney could say boo men yay women 🤷♂️

Disney sucks ass.
Luke: "just bear with me for a moment... Nathalie Portman's ass".
Everybody: "you're right".
Anakin: "I sense a great disturbance in my robe"

Luke was my favorite character in any series growing up. Disney had to just kill him off. Such a shame
its really neet that we see various characters who have different feelings and interpretations of annakin and vader. i personally side with luke on the matter while doing my best to keep him responsible but just like in the starwars community even the characters of the story have different opinions on the subject.
Just remember Kathleen Kennedy straight up look at a camera and said "There's no source material," Kennedy said. "We don't have comic books. We don't have 800-page novels. We don't have anything other than passionate storytellers who get together and talk about what the next iteration might be.
No, Vader is Anakin. Anakin made a choice.
So much for Anakin being held accountable! Vader was always inside of Anakin. He was created when Anakin was a child slave.
its quite interesting that even afther such a long time r2d2 still have memorys of aniken and the clone war considering of the custome or rule to whipe astromec droids memories. could you potentialy make a video covering this @The Stupendous Wave?
HATE THE ACTION NOT THE PERSON....
Which part of the Dark Nest Trilogy is this specifically from I, II or III? Because I didnt see any mentions of a Large Jedi Master on the wiki page of either one of these books
so tragic. All Anakin was- a slave his whole life..
Only Luke set him free for a few moments… and then he died 😞
Love your videos man!

Anankin ceased to exist once Sidious christened him is new Sith name
I think the only way you can really look at anakin is as a weopon formed by the force. Whichever force user that can manipulate him controls him. His entire life he was manipulated and molded one way or another. The Jedi had there hand in it and palpatine was manipulating him from day one. Jedi were playing checkers and palpatine was playing chess and was in the long game of control of anakin. It was the love of Luke that metaphorically broke his chains and litterally freed anakin of being a slave/weapon
I love Legends and especially Legends Luke
I can only imagine how Luke deep down felt about all of this 😢
We humans have all these things that can change our personalities to the extreme. Hormones, chemical imbalances in our brain and so on. In the sw universe the force is another factor that can affect someone's possibility. We should try to explain it with our real world knowledge like we try.
I love the videos and everything but I honestly think you need to be a little bit louder when you make them
How Luke WATCHED ORDER 66 and Why He Didn't Blame Anakin - he watched order 66 by opoening his eyes and viewing what was going on. He didn't blame anakin because he just didn't lol
Vader is an act for Palpatine, invoked by hopelessness
Once hope is reignited, Anakin no longer needs to pretend
But I do believe Anakin became a Sith
You can’t kill innocent kids and not be warped
The more I watch the more I see that Anakin did die, I’m relationship I suppose we all die and love many lives in our vessels
of course 3P0 would fail to read the room.
Too bad he didn’t see that in Kylo till it was too late ⏰
I don't know why by I chocked a little 😢.
How Luke is able to forgive such a hanous crime I don't know

Lukes attitude is very Christian.
@MorthSin Luke is the opposite of Christian, he’s compassionate, kind, nonjudgemental, he has his emotions under control.

Uhh, did you read the Bible 😉
Luke understood it because Luke didn't want kids either.

ya thats not exactly true as even if he had a multi personality disorder they are the same being just different aspect’s.also it was a choice granted he felt like he had no choice but a choice is still a choice no matter the results or the rational behind it as ultimately he chose the dark side it didn’t nor does it ever choose brings it simply is.much like”good”or”evil”in the real world.if you have a medical condition or problem and don’t have seek help and you know it’s there that is in fact a choice,so is alcohol and drugs and anything else.it can be influenced obviously but it is ultimately a choice.and yes know it is fictional but even in this case it’s also a choice.we all make choices good bad and everything in between and to say he”wasn’t in control of his actions.”is not only stupid but also not true.you can argue he felt he had no choice and you can say he wasn’t in his right mind but again just like in the real world he made his final real choice the second he killed mace as up until that point most of it is poor decisions at times but not anything to be truly condemned.we all make mistakes but i can not urge you all enough to think before you act and to take full responsibility for your actions.this has been brought to you by logic.thats logic go fucking get some. 6:47

Does Anakin have free will? Yes. Therefore he was ultimately at fault for all his choices. What is so complicated about that?
I think a better interpretation on Lukes line of thinking is that anyone that most people that fall to the dark side have been pushed there by their masters, yes it is still Anakins choice, but would he have fallen to the dark side or did any of those horrible things without Palpatine saying there is no other way and egging him on?
