- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 26 ม.ค. 2023
- One of a series of videos on Chesil Beach in Dorset, UK.
This video includes some footage and photos from the Penn Sea League final fished on 01.10.22.
It is also a record of two daytime sessions (filmed on 27.10.22, and 29.11.22), fished at a mark along the Hamm Roundabout / Monsoon Channel (aka Checckpoint) stretch, near Weymouth (Dorset, UK). Each session produced pouting; with codling, pollock, whiting, dogfish and strap congers also caught. Rigs and techniques are dealt with.

Nice vid mate
Many thanks for that.
As I fished there a few years ago someone was walking there dog a black lab .it was the hight of summer and it was flat calm the dog was swimming as they are a known water retriever as it started to get into trouble trying to get out onto the shingle the owner was panicking and had to be persuaded not to get in as they might have struggled to get out . eventually the dog managed to get out it looked knackered. God only knows how you would fair on a lumpy day like you fished if the wave got you !
Yes - it can be risky there!
Yes, a dodgy place, years ago me and my mate were talking to another bloke at work who had just been on hols near weymouth, he told us how hed pulled up in the carpark behind where your fishing because hed never seeen chesil before...... And went for a swim😱😱,..... We just looked at each other in utter disbelief, told the 3rd guy he was lucky to get out... I said to him if the tide had turned while you were in youd be gone mate
Ever considered writing a book containing all your fishing expertise?
A video record will do for now!
Hello I'm a subscriber for 2years or more and would like you to comment in your next video regarding the way you set your rods at 90degrees and it's advantages thanks..... Fred
Most match anglers fish with thier rod to side as well I noticed . A channel called Tony's tackle shows match fishing where they fish like this .
Thanks for subbing. Its mainly to spot bites easier - a bit like the way course anglers feeder fish rivers.
hi sir have you been yesterday to seaford?
Not fished Seaford yet this year - will give it a go soon.
i will also come again saturday and sunday
Better than a kick in the pollocks.
Indeed!
