Thanks for this video! I'm hoping to do the red perrin shrouds on my STI this week. I do have a question about your AOS and strut bar. I'm looking at the IAG AOS V3, but I have a perrin strut bar. Did you go with the tanabe because perrin won't fit? Is your AOS at the intended height or is it lower?

Thank you for the comment red will look amazing on the STI. I did buy the Tanabe because I was concerned with the AOS fitting under it. The Tanabe bar starts high from the upper shock mounting point. The Perrin start low and slope up. There is some adjustability with the AOS but I’m honestly not sure if the Perrin will fit over top the AOS. My AOS is mounted in the recommended install holes from the IAG install manual. Sorry if I didn’t answer but I got the Tanabe because I thought it would clear no problem, I unfortunately cannot confirm the Perrin fitment. Good luck

Did you paint your intercooler pipping? Also how’s the install for the oil cooler? I’m thinking of getting a front mount as well for my subie.

I used gold heat tape on my intercooler piping. It’s tricky to install but helps a little. The oil cooler is a must have, especially if you do any performance event. I then bought a larger oil cooler core to further cool my oil. Front mount intercooler is by far the better way to go, you won’t regret it. Good luck with you build.
