Love the vid I definetly agree that a Turbo inlet with an Intake is night and day I'm running the Perrin Inlet with ETS Intake on my 22 VB and the turbo spool and turbo flutters are insane.
@@MT-8404 subi speed axle back sti mid pipe grim speed turbo inlet and bpv i can hear the turbo spool very well. i have yet to buy the post maf tubing but i think ill consider those now.
thank you !!! Your videos on these wrx mods are a massive help to a amature car DIYer wanting to not blow up a wrx engine. ( havnt bought one yet , soaking in all the info i can before hand )
I ran the Perrin inlet on my 2019 WRX, you could hear all the noises! Note that if you're running a MAPerfomance intake you will need to cut off alot of the inlet for things to fit.
I like the Perrin tube. 👍 if using the stock air box, which of these options require a tune. as much as I want an AP, I don't want to be forced in that direction. 2-port or 3-port? new bypass valve at the same time? so many options...
Yo bro. What grill are you running? Also my car is a 2021. Is yours also grey magnetite? I feel like I have never seen another Wrx with this color scheme
Yes sir! 2021 Magnetite Grey WRX! Here’s a link to all of my front end mods! The grille is the Noble JDM in Gloss black! 🤘🏻 th-cam.com/video/pVnQz4g3Vpo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=PgsOZNtAql8V5zZL
The current set up on the car is Cosmis XT-005R Gunmetal w/ Machined Lip + Spokes 18x9 +35 5x114.3 They can be found here 🤘🏻 www.importimageracing.com/pages/search-results-page?q=xt005r&page=2
Factory airbox? Why bother changing part of the intake tract without a cold air intake; especially since you want to hear turbo noises?!? Gotta chuck the plastic engine cover as well. Serves no purpose other than making car look cheap. Where's the exhaust, should be rumbling!!

It’s CRAZY! We love it! 😍
I waited almost 6 months to get my Grimmspeed inlet after purchase for my 18 FXT, but it was worth every second
AWESOME! Glad you are enjoying it! 🤘🏻😍🤘🏻
I have an 18XT as well. What all have you done with it so far? I'm still in the process of a build

Just a heads up, if you have a 17 or up wrx you need the grimmspeed version 2 inlet

Great info, thank you for sharing! 🤘🏻
Im running the Cobb sf Intake and the same issue would exist.
I have the Rev9 turbo inlet and is still working pretty good after 3 years.
Awesome! Thank you for the feedback 🤘🏼

This video needed one more thing; the charge pipe. I guess that's for after the Cobb map.
Ohhh… A charge pipe comparison…. I LIKE IT! 🤩
Where's the TDMimports Billet Turbo Inlet? That's what I'm running! Pretty badass!
Ah yes! That is a very nice piece. 🤘🏻
They are good, only use grimmspeed ebbs with this some won’t fit. Turbo xs I know wont
Love videos like this!!!!!
Proud to bring you videos like this! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Do you require a tune for any of these Inlet.
Can’t get my bcs to fit wiring is tight
I have a 2016 WRX with 63k miles. Do you think it’s a little late to start modding? It’s pretty well maintained. Plugs and fluids changed.
its definitely not too late, 5 years ago i had customers with those cars with 120k miles modding with 400+ whp :) Lets go!
NO WAY! You’re just breaking it in! The time is NOW! 😍
Bro same here!! Feeling much better about letting the beast out 65k later
Can you add on the COBB or TOMEI exhaust... WITHOUT the tune??
-can't tune cause I'm in California
You can tune it, I did and I’m in California
Cat back no tune. Turbo back needs tune. Intake needs tune as well
Do you still have the stock j-pipe on it?
Yes, that is correct!
What kind of rims are you running on your wrx?

what did you do to your INTAKE?
That's what I wanna know! I can't even find a video of the filter Install
Does the perrin inlet need to be tuned ?
Runs great on our in house VA WRX with no tune! But full benefits wont be acquired until coupled with a Clark Turner Pro-tune!
