Exactly my friend. That's the whole point of the SE. Holistic apple experience at a reasonable price. sadly, some delicate ego peasants with their Pro Max or even regular iPhone got critically wounded by this idea.. and that's coming from a Pro Max user myself. Whatever it is, do not increase the price by too much and I will buy it. I am mainly an SE user for the ios. Smaller phones would be a bonus tho.

My iPhone 13 mini is the perfect size phone somebody that’s not playing with their phone all day. I have no problem with the battery. It be great if we could have something like that for the new SE. I hope they don’t make it the same size as the iPhone 14.

People think the iPhone Mini is a great idea but they don’t buy it. That’s why Apple discontinued that concept.
@@vondahe it's stupid to use 6.1 for SE when you c a n just buy the current regular model in 6.1 this is unless apple changes the size of the pros for 16 and future models. There is 0 difference between this and the iPhone 12-15. Mini would be good since it has a cult following. I'd argue if they made a pro mini it would sell more than phablets 6.1 & 6.7. I use 3 phones daily. 15 pro, 14 PM and 13mini. Mini is my favorite due to form factor.
Im now thinking of getting this phone for myself this year as i've always preferred the smaller phones, that oled display is going to be nice.

Looks great! I'm just cruisin' TH-cam. I'm well set though, I have a 13 Pro Max and a 15 Pro Max. I'm glad I skipped the 14. I held off a bit so by the time I received it the heating issue had already been remedied with the software so when it rebooted it was good to go. Thanks for the info, I love my iphone SE3, it's everything I want. I only use the camera to take photos of simple things so I don't mind an older model. I actually only paid $279 USD after my carrier discount. I really appreciate that my phone inside is the same as my brother's Iphone 13. My SE3 will be 4 yrs old when this comes out so I might be ready for a new one or I may wait even longer. It's all good.

My current phone is the original SE, yes I just keep my phone if it does ms fine😂. Don’t realise there had been a SE3. So this fourth version might tick the box although in the U.K. you will get some great deals on the new standard 16. We will see.
Why does the camera look nothing special, does my original SE not have a 12mp lens? I’d probably go with the 16 if it is a massive jump in lens as I now take a lot of pictures on my phone.

Personally it’s a budget small phone. Originally it was 4” then went to 4.7” I think it should be based on the 13 mini being 5.7” as that’s a good size for a small phone.
The iPhone 13 mini size would be ideal for the new SE!
Originally, those were the sizes of the models they were based off of (The iphone 6, and 8 respectively) If they use the iphone 14's chassis then it should stay as a 6.1

I’ll buy this phone if it has the same design as the iPhone 15 excluding the Dynamic Island.
If you look at trend of releasing iPhone SE 2016 it had 2.5 year old body as well as iPhone SE 2020 which had 2.5 year old body of cheapest iPhone in that lineup. iPhone SE 2022 is just mid gen update and I think 2024 will be 2.5 year old cheapest iPhone body and that would be iPhone 13 mini. Maybe I think that because I am waiting on new mini iPhone but I hope it will be mini body.
It could also be iPhone 12 mini body because of camera orientation so they could get spacial video in but I doubt that they will be dropping that feature in SE before normal iPhone 16.

If we get an iPhone 14 modification, then the iPhone XR should have been the SE 2020 design, but Dynamic Island would’ve made it look too much like an iPhone 15 other than it not having the frosted back glass

i really want a new phone right now, but i just don't use my phone enough to warrant buying the £700 iphone 15. i hope there is a new SE this year, but i don't see that happening. if it does come this year, it will probably be much more expensive than the previous SE phones, likely to the point that it just won't be worth it compared to the iphone 15. if they give us a usb-c, face id iphone with the a16 bionic for £429, there will be little to no point in getting the standard iphone 15, even if the SE only has one camera.
