The iPhone SE has a special place in my heart. My grandmother had one when I was 4 (1st gen) and we played around with its features everyday. She wasnt using her phone, she was using mine and her phone. Gave it to me when she died

I’ve had all three generations of the SE. Personally, I think they’re the best of the iPhone lineup.
I had the first generation SE in rose gold and I loved it. I currently have the 12 mini and it’s a good phone. But if Apple didn’t have the mini, I would go back to the iPhone SE from the XS. I think it is a good phone for the price.
I had it in the grey colour.

I have the 2020 SE model, greatest phone I’ve ever had. This phone has made me a huge apple fan and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to android.
My mother had the SE 2 as well but she upgraded to the SE 3

Hopefully the horrendous battery life of both SE models were fixed in this one.
Yeah true, but now that its over $420 its gone from budget to semi mid ranged, which I feel for what it does, isn't really worth it.
Sure the chipset is great, and it has 5G and etc, however, the chipset they're using isn't a great for image processing for the SE phone, and the 5G isn't really true 5g, and more 4.5G speeds to be expected because of how bad the router on the phone is for a 5G device.
But I am excited about the battery, because the past SE phone went up to 3 hours of intensive on screen time, which compared to 8 phones for the iphone 13 *MINI* is pretty pathetic, so hopefully its better.
the a14 and later had a huge battery life improvement but since the iPhone 12's had smaller batteries you couldn't really tell although given that the smaller batteries kept up with the previous gen's bigger batteries proves it.

To this day I’m still impressed at myself for managing to use my first gen iPhone SE with only 16GB which is nothing in todays day and age because apps nowadays take up a lot of storage. I have a much better phone now but looking back on it, I still don’t know how I did it lol

I actually bought an 11 over the se 3 even though it has a worse cpu. Also keep in mind I do heavy 3d gaming and multitasking so that extra power would be great. However the se’s design looks like it is strange out of 2017 and battery life (still good according to my sister that owns one) is not even close, Honestly when apple releases an se with the new design, i would gladly spend 599 instead of 399 maybe even more.

The lightning cable didn’t charge the phones faster. It charged at the same rate as the 30 pin connector. They just happened to call it “lightning” and people got confused since Apples Thunderbolt connection was faster than usb.
