As for how I think objects are "fed" devil fruits, I had a couple ideas that I didn't have the time to squeeze into this video. But mainly I think that seastone is a big reason this is possible. The WG has a LOT of seastone at their disposal. Jails, ships, weapons, handcuffs, bullets, you name it. They use seastone in practically everything. I wouldn't be surprised if Vegapunk, working under these guys, did a lot of testing on seastone while trying to figure out how the fruits work. Assuming whatever is inside devil fruits doesn't take well to water, what if you could use seastone to trap a fruit's essence within an object? How exactly this happens is anyone's guess, but I'm largely leaning towards this being the secret behind it.
@@TheHiddenIsland- Damn, that's actually an interesting theory I hadn't considered (hope you don't mind getting a notification on a three week old post. lol). It makes sense. If a 'container' is broken, the 'contents' are spilled. Either a fruit (or DF user) getting destroyed and 'resurrected' (by the power leaking out into another fruit), or the fruit (or DF user) getting eaten and 'manifesting' as a power in the one that ate it... So a completely sealed Seastone 'box' (if possible) containing a Devil Fruit and the object... The fruit gets destroyed by some means (a pure Seastone contraption like a hammer or knife on a cog system or something), the 'soul' of the DF only has one place to go; the other object in the box. Damn.
Zoans have been confirmed to have some will of their own, so that’s likely why only they have been fused with inanimate objects. As for how Vegapunk does it. I think it might have to do with Vegapunk making a Zoan smoothie, and injecting the juices into the object. Maybe utilizing Seastone, like you guys suggest.
This is the best Devil Fruit origin theory I’ve seen so far. People think the One Piece world is weird for no reason: absurd to contrast the dark themes of the story. But Oda is a brilliant enough author to explain these weird things and have them be relevant to the story. That’s why I can’t believe people who think Devil Fruits and Haki etc won’t be explained. The fact that you connected Inanimate objects like Klaubautermann to the voices of objects is great. But the fact that we actually have 2 confirmations of objects with voices (Merry) the fact that poneglyphs have voices is truly amazing. I believe this one!
The fruits being guided by light makes the Blackbeard theory more sense now! Since blackbeard controls darkness, he can stop the light from passing through and therefore he can control the voice of fruits into his bidding. Or store the souls/voice/light inside his darkness, therefore still keeping the abilities of darkness and tremor.
This is so good, I'm not gonna lie I'm pissed I figure this out myself. The connection and breakdown of light and its relationship to darkness is such a perfect explaination to all the pieces of this puzzle. This makes sense. Haki is linked to the sun, which is why bb can’t use considerably the strongest logia fruit, the dark dark fruit. The sun and the moons existence emits light and darkness is weak to that, causing him to not be able to turn into darkness, which is why he use that black cloak to take wb power, because the true meaning of darkness is the absence of light, which is what the df are powered by. Haki works similarly except it comes from an individuals spirit, our own god given will power, the light that Rayleigh confirms that we all have. Haki works against devil fruit powers because it is our power vs some acquired power. The same counter reaction that would happen if we ate two df except we would die because it’s isn’t ours to control in that way. And the fact that lunarians are known to survive harsh climate having origins in the cold vacuumes of space really hits when you consider how oars died from frostbite, there’s possibly a correlation as to why he was in such a predicament, and how a lunarian can counteract such a harsh environment, especially with their fire abilities. Something must’ve went down during those warring times.

Great theory! I still have a feeling Law's fruit is somehow involved though (i.e. the Immortality Operation is actually about using the heart-swapping technique to transfer someone's will/soul into a fruit, like a time capsule of sorts)

Honestly one of if not the best One Piece theory ever. Congratulations my dude. The only thing I can say I disagree with is Sun God Nika being the origin of Devil Fruits. Even if one were to argue that the souls of objects/concepts and the elements wouldn't mind being trapped inside first a fruit and then being used by people they can't choose. That argument doesn't exactly work for Zoan fruits. Surely humans would want to rest in peace instead of being forced to aid another person in his or her life. In a lot of ways one can say that becoming a Devil Fruit is a kind of slavery and thus contradicts the very essence of Nika's being a champion of Liberty. As such Im is the logical choice for creating Devil Fruits. He was going up against people who were like gods so the idea of harnessing his enemies "the Devils" to help destroy them makes sense. As for how Devil Fruits spread across the world, it seems logical to me that before Nika died he climbed the Red Line and attacked the tree spreading the fruit across the seas before his own soul left his body, entered a fruit, and also exited the area above Mariejois from Nika's final blow to the tree. I honestly don't see a way for the series to end without the Devil Fruit tree dying ending the reincarnation cycle once and for all allowing the souls to find a restful peace in the afterlife. Once again honestly one of if not the best One Piece theory.

This makes way too much sense. Another great video 👍 One thing I'd like to note is I feel like sound also has a lot to do with it too. The Golden Bell, as you mentioned, is said allow the dead connect with the living. Brook's music interacts with souls. Sound even acts similarly and gets disrupted by the same things as light. Both water and gravity, distort how sound is conveyed just like with light.

I thought Ohara and Yuderon had the greatest one piece theory, but I think, this is it. You nailed the devil fruit's mechanism but I don't quite agree regarding Sun God Nika. I think there is something else. Oda is really a genius. He really thinks deep about the story.
Ima throwing the Fact that nobody in shanks Crew ate a devil fruit due to some "Plan". I Think we just Figured it out, shanks will save ruffy in the fight versus Blackbeard. And keep in mind the strawhats dont have alot of devilfruits either.

If the world government controls the narrative of history, and we've never seen anyone besides Blackbeard eat more than one fruit because of the hearsay of death, and Blackbeard is a historical scholar, would it be possible he's just figured out that more than one can be eaten ? If I were common knowledge that multiple fruits/powers could be had, then the entire world's power system would be changed. Emu or the 5 may be the only ones aware that multiple fruits can in fact be eaten, and have done so to aquire and maintain power.

I’ve also wondered if Luffy’s fire fist has something to do with his lineage. Maybe his mom was a Lunarian. “The will of D, the natural enemies of the gods.” What if this line was meant for the Lunarians since Lunarians were once known as gods. Oda could write your typical forbidden love with Dragon and Luffy’s mom. It’ll also go into the typical trope of shounen protagonist being prodigies of overpowered clans. For example; Naruto and Ichigo - two of the biggest rivals to One Piece.

very well said! and I think you're close to the very truth on how The Genius Oda created this Master Piece about Devil Fruit s Origin, it's really amazing how everything is connected and has a reason in this story of One Piece. My own theory is that this devil fruit was made from wishes and dreams of the people of the ancient kingdom. Their dying curse/prayer before Imu wiped them all out granted by the Sun God. Their will turn into a devil fruit, you may kill the user but it will just keep on popping up somewhere else, until the right person eat the right fruit, and fullfill their will, and maybe the mechanism is that 1 tree for 1 fruit, a fruit scattered in the world of One Piece. The seed of the undying will of the Ancient People who want freedom and revenge against Imu. And up until now Imu has no control over the said devil fruits. Imu is just waiting for the great war to happen and wants to prevent it from happening just like what in Toki's cursed in just different version, when all the right devil fruits eat by the right people thy undying will shall be done. Kill Imu and be free. Well just my imagination, hehe...

Wordclass Video! Should have found u sooner. Earned yourself a sub and some likes for other vids and text spiraling out of control after viewing this ;) U are mentioning light and its components (wavelenghts). I quite like this idea and would go and add sound. It also has a major role in One Piece. Especially for Brook, Binks Sake and the end of every major arc with a big party. Both sound and light are travelling in waves (yeah and light in also in rays). Both can interact with mostly anything and are massivly altered by water especially high amounts and pressure\density. If u go deep enough wavelenghts are becoming more shorter in theory maybe until the point were they are nullified. Like, a black hole. So the Yami Yami no Mi of Blackbeard can suck in these waves as gravity does, He nullifies Devilfruit abilities on touch because he draws it (the soul\voice or whatever which is based on the wavelenght) in. After disconnecting the waves are allowed to continue or return. Whitebeards power therefore could be harnessed as for its vessel is destroyed. The difference between it and water, seastone and armour haki (both dark and dense) possibly is that the latter "just"shortens (meaning in OP weakens) the length of the lets call it soulwave and doesnt nullify it. For instance once Ruffy was with his body under water his neck was still streched but he was very weak As for Brook, it would be intresting if he is unaffected by BB. His DF could be the opposite. The name Yomi Yomi no Mi has literally one different letter. And I know it most likely stands for "land of the dead" and for that is linked with darkness, but if BB and its Yami stands for sucking/taking sth. The Yomi could stand for letting go. He can reach out with his inner being as BB can take it in. But Brooks Soul can return on will, making him sth. of immortal in the first place and maybe unaffected by BB. He just wills his soulwave to stay or return instandly. So lets spin this even further. Brook also can influence other souls via DF (things like his sword) and add in his music also people (make them dance e.g.). Maybe he can protect his fellow crew members from BB too? Becoming Strawhats secrets weapon. Or, further down this rabbit hole, if everything in OP has a soul(wave) it can be influenced by creating a resonance with its special wavelength wich are given by the DFs. Like a databank. Each has its own wavelength->melody->will. But if u want to acess this power fully, u have to get it exactly right. So awaking ur DF is like finetuning ur body/soul, the instrument of this ability, to the DFs "sound/will". Like Ruffy is only able to awaken his form if his heart is beating like the "drums of liberation" for his DF. This could also solve the issue with fate, inherited will or people changing through there DF. Only if u act and think a certain way u are getting more in tune with it. Therefore amplifying certain charakteristic of this person as well as fighting style or choice. Like a dog getting a treat if done good. Would explain why over the centuries people with the same DF act accordently (pun intended). They are training and it doesnt matter if willingly or subconscious. Everybody wants to do best with his DF and if not he would probadly not be remembered. Now we could go on and say Joyboy created the DFs, he could hear the voice of all things, maybe had a faible (as Ruffy) for music or was a musican or could even speak to all things. So he infused the tree with the will of all. His own too and maybe friends. Or he just ate the first one (like Ruffy would). Maybe he just wanted everybody to have a blast with strange, fantastic and ridicoulus abilities to enjoy life. Therefore creating an epic party empire which the 20 "Kingdoms" saw as a threat. In conclusion, Ruffy isnt Joyboy, but "the Boy with Joy" ready to party and change the world. Like his DF he can twirl and twist himself and all and everything around him in a good way. "DON to icchou utao, unaba no uta" - "Let's all sing it with a Don! A song of the waves" -> Binks Sake "Monkey Don Ruffy" will find the One Piece, the one song of the voice of everything. The song to rally behind, shout to the world, to everything and everyone. With the sound of Binks Sake and some reveiling information, so everybody can sing it with them. Concluding the worlds largest Karaoke-Party! ;)
For Haki, you should look into the Catholic Theology of Will and Intellect. The Pure Spirits (Angels and Demons) are said to have more or less two things in common with the spiritual souls of human beings: intellect/understanding/knowing and will/love/desire. The Angels are more powerful than us because their spiritual capacities of intellect and will aren't as limited, they know every bare fact about a thing the second they turn their attention to it and they have enough willpower that even the weakest, if not restrained by God, could destroy the whole earth. The preturnatural powers of demons like levitation and such are accomplished by their will. Now look back at the 3 kinds of haki. One allows a person to see beyond sight, just like the occult knowledge of demons which functions as their eyes. One allows for physical manifestation of their spirit like the will of demons causing thing to levitate, and the last is the ability to dominate lesser wills which demons demonstrate during possession. Maybe I'm reaching but all things being equal it's worth looking into.
I don't think Devil Fruits are powered by light as you're suggesting. For one thing, Devil Fruit users lose their strength even if they're still right below the surface of the water where sunlight can still reach them. Another thing against this idea is that, if it was really the absence of light that caused the Devil Fruits users to lose their strength, the would also be powerless if they were locked in a dark room, but we've seen that Devil Fruit users retain their strength and access to their abilities even in total darkness, so clearly that is not the case. That said, I don't think you're wrong about EVERYTHING you discussed in this video. I've heard plenty of people drawing parallels between One Piece lore and Christianity and never took it seriously beyond the use of a few biblical names because a lot of their comparisons felt kind of forced. The observations you make on that subject here, however, have convinced me there may be something to it after all and inspired a few thoughts of my own that you didn't mention. I need to do some studying and research, but you may very well have just sent me down a rabbit hole that will lead me to everything from the name of the ancient kingdom to several specific events from the Void Century, and even to how the final arc of the series will play out, so I definitely have to thank you. And yes, I will definitely credit you as my inspiration when my theory is complete!
My best guess would be that the soul/voice or something doesn’t necessarily share its properties. It’s not like the soul of rubber, for example, is stretchy - nor is the soul of ice is frozen. It has to combine with something to create those powers through altering lineage factor (this much, at least, has been confirmed). I wish I had all the answers here, but there’s just a lot of blanks to fill in and not enough information right now. However in simplest terms I would say Darkness has a voice, too, just like everything else. It’s the voice of all things, not the voice of some things. The better question IMO is not how, but rather why? Why make the yami yami fruit?
Listening to this after 1062! Vegapunk figured out the secret to devil fruit powers… and he/she/they/them has photon light grabbing gloves! Perhaps VP literally grabs the light body of the soul or it’s shadow and throws it into things like Moria with his shadow fruit

I found the Hidden Island on a longer car ride and I was just so enthralled by the entire concept. Ok so I have a theory about how Blackbeard stole Whitebeard's fruit. So taking what this video has taught me and considering that this could be true than I believe t he blanket that Blackbeard put over whitebeard conceals all light and this is just speculation but I think that in the presence of no light Blackbeard can take a fruit and conceal it inside his darkness thus being able to use it whenever he wishes. Now obviously this is simply a theory and its probably wrong but It would make sense for this to be true if this video is correct.

I’d go to say that even the dials support your theory of the voice of all things stuff they’re called breaths and they kinda mirror devil fruits being objects with mysterious powers associated with the sea.
I like the idea that the dials may parallel dfs in some way. They even have the spiral pattern. Only one of the many dials used were called breath dials, so I’m not sure if I agree with that point. However, the dials also represent shells, which either contain or once contained a living thing like the devil/voice inside the fruits. This was a great point especially considering many believe Skypeia to parallel the entirety of the plot in some way or another.

It makes sense. If a 'container' is broken, the 'contents' are spilled. Either a fruit (or DF user) getting destroyed and 'resurrected' (by the power leaking out into another fruit), or the fruit (or DF user) getting eaten and 'manifesting' as a power in the one that ate it...
So a completely sealed Seastone 'box' (if possible) containing a Devil Fruit and the object... The fruit gets destroyed by some means (a pure Seastone contraption like a hammer or knife on a cog system or something), the 'soul' of the DF only has one place to go; the other object in the box.

Zoans have been confirmed to have some will of their own, so that’s likely why only they have been fused with inanimate objects. As for how Vegapunk does it. I think it might have to do with Vegapunk making a Zoan smoothie, and injecting the juices into the object. Maybe utilizing Seastone, like you guys suggest.
This is the best Devil Fruit origin theory I’ve seen so far. People think the One Piece world is weird for no reason: absurd to contrast the dark themes of the story. But Oda is a brilliant enough author to explain these weird things and have them be relevant to the story. That’s why I can’t believe people who think Devil Fruits and Haki etc won’t be explained.
The fact that you connected Inanimate objects like Klaubautermann to the voices of objects is great. But the fact that we actually have 2 confirmations of objects with voices (Merry) the fact that poneglyphs have voices is truly amazing. I believe this one!

The fruits being guided by light makes the Blackbeard theory more sense now! Since blackbeard controls darkness, he can stop the light from passing through and therefore he can control the voice of fruits into his bidding. Or store the souls/voice/light inside his darkness, therefore still keeping the abilities of darkness and tremor.
So based on this, Blackbeard could go around 'stealing' Df powers and become the super Op Df users then?

This makes sense. Haki is linked to the sun, which is why bb can’t use considerably the strongest logia fruit, the dark dark fruit. The sun and the moons existence emits light and darkness is weak to that, causing him to not be able to turn into darkness, which is why he use that black cloak to take wb power, because the true meaning of darkness is the absence of light, which is what the df are powered by. Haki works similarly except it comes from an individuals spirit, our own god given will power, the light that Rayleigh confirms that we all have. Haki works against devil fruit powers because it is our power vs some acquired power. The same counter reaction that would happen if we ate two df except we would die because it’s isn’t ours to control in that way. And the fact that lunarians are known to survive harsh climate having origins in the cold vacuumes of space really hits when you consider how oars died from frostbite, there’s possibly a correlation as to why he was in such a predicament, and how a lunarian can counteract such a harsh environment, especially with their fire abilities. Something must’ve went down during those warring times.
That seems to suggest that the darkness is both weak to light and able to overpower it though.

The devil fruit origin theory is a little rocky but the idea that light has a huge part in haki and devil fruits is a amazing theory.
Great theory! I still have a feeling Law's fruit is somehow involved though (i.e. the Immortality Operation is actually about using the heart-swapping technique to transfer someone's will/soul into a fruit, like a time capsule of sorts)

Honestly one of if not the best One Piece theory ever. Congratulations my dude. The only thing I can say I disagree with is Sun God Nika being the origin of Devil Fruits.
Even if one were to argue that the souls of objects/concepts and the elements wouldn't mind being trapped inside first a fruit and then being used by people they can't choose. That argument doesn't exactly work for Zoan fruits. Surely humans would want to rest in peace instead of being forced to aid another person in his or her life.
In a lot of ways one can say that becoming a Devil Fruit is a kind of slavery and thus contradicts the very essence of Nika's being a champion of Liberty. As such Im is the logical choice for creating Devil Fruits. He was going up against people who were like gods so the idea of harnessing his enemies "the Devils" to help destroy them makes sense.
As for how Devil Fruits spread across the world, it seems logical to me that before Nika died he climbed the Red Line and attacked the tree spreading the fruit across the seas before his own soul left his body, entered a fruit, and also exited the area above Mariejois from Nika's final blow to the tree.
I honestly don't see a way for the series to end without the Devil Fruit tree dying ending the reincarnation cycle once and for all allowing the souls to find a restful peace in the afterlife.

One thing I'd like to note is I feel like sound also has a lot to do with it too. The Golden Bell, as you mentioned, is said allow the dead connect with the living. Brook's music interacts with souls. Sound even acts similarly and gets disrupted by the same things as light. Both water and gravity, distort how sound is conveyed just like with light.
Actually brilliant points on all accounts - can't believe I didn't notice the sound thing especially in connection to Brook's powers.

If the world government controls the narrative of history, and we've never seen anyone besides Blackbeard eat more than one fruit because of the hearsay of death, and Blackbeard is a historical scholar, would it be possible he's just figured out that more than one can be eaten ?
If I were common knowledge that multiple fruits/powers could be had, then the entire world's power system would be changed. Emu or the 5 may be the only ones aware that multiple fruits can in fact be eaten, and have done so to aquire and maintain power.

On another note, this is a great theory. I’ve also wondered if Luffy’s fire fist has something to do with his lineage. Maybe his mom was a Lunarian. “The will of D, the natural enemies of the gods.” What if this line was meant for the Lunarians since Lunarians were once known as gods. Oda could write your typical forbidden love with Dragon and Luffy’s mom. It’ll also go into the typical trope of shounen protagonist being prodigies of overpowered clans. For example; Naruto and Ichigo - two of the biggest rivals to One Piece.

My interpretation of Luffy and Sanji’s fire is that it’s more the result of their strong or fiery spirit than genetics. If Haki is the ability to manifest your will, then why not, right? If we assume the soul is related to fire/light then maybe there’s a direct connection yet to be revealed…

My own theory is that this devil fruit was made from wishes and dreams of the people of the ancient kingdom. Their dying curse/prayer before Imu wiped them all out granted by the Sun God. Their will turn into a devil fruit, you may kill the user but it will just keep on popping up somewhere else, until the right person eat the right fruit, and fullfill their will, and maybe the mechanism is that 1 tree for 1 fruit, a fruit scattered in the world of One Piece. The seed of the undying will of the Ancient People who want freedom and revenge against Imu. And up until now Imu has no control over the said devil fruits. Imu is just waiting for the great war to happen and wants to prevent it from happening just like what in Toki's cursed in just different version, when all the right devil fruits eat by the right people thy undying will shall be done. Kill Imu and be free.

U are mentioning light and its components (wavelenghts). I quite like this idea and would go and add sound. It also has a major role in One Piece. Especially for Brook, Binks Sake and the end of every major arc with a big party.
Both sound and light are travelling in waves (yeah and light in also in rays). Both can interact with mostly anything and are massivly altered by water especially high amounts and pressure\density. If u go deep enough wavelenghts are becoming more shorter in theory maybe until the point were they are nullified. Like, a black hole.
So the Yami Yami no Mi of Blackbeard can suck in these waves as gravity does, He nullifies Devilfruit abilities on touch because he draws it (the soul\voice or whatever which is based on the wavelenght) in. After disconnecting the waves are allowed to continue or return. Whitebeards power therefore could be harnessed as for its vessel is destroyed.
The difference between it and water, seastone and armour haki (both dark and dense) possibly is that the latter "just"shortens (meaning in OP weakens) the length of the lets call it soulwave and doesnt nullify it. For instance once Ruffy was with his body under water his neck was still streched but he was very weak
As for Brook, it would be intresting if he is unaffected by BB. His DF could be the opposite. The name Yomi Yomi no Mi has literally one different letter. And I know it most likely stands for "land of the dead" and for that is linked with darkness, but if BB and its Yami stands for sucking/taking sth. The Yomi could stand for letting go. He can reach out with his inner being as BB can take it in. But Brooks Soul can return on will, making him sth. of immortal in the first place and maybe unaffected by BB. He just wills his soulwave to stay or return instandly.
So lets spin this even further. Brook also can influence other souls via DF (things like his sword) and add in his music also people (make them dance e.g.). Maybe he can protect his fellow crew members from BB too? Becoming Strawhats secrets weapon.
Or, further down this rabbit hole, if everything in OP has a soul(wave) it can be influenced by creating a resonance with its special wavelength wich are given by the DFs. Like a databank. Each has its own wavelength->melody->will. But if u want to acess this power fully, u have to get it exactly right. So awaking ur DF is like finetuning ur body/soul, the instrument of this ability, to the DFs "sound/will". Like Ruffy is only able to awaken his form if his heart is beating like the "drums of liberation" for his DF.
This could also solve the issue with fate, inherited will or people changing through there DF. Only if u act and think a certain way u are getting more in tune with it. Therefore amplifying certain charakteristic of this person as well as fighting style or choice. Like a dog getting a treat if done good. Would explain why over the centuries people with the same DF act accordently (pun intended). They are training and it doesnt matter if willingly or subconscious. Everybody wants to do best with his DF and if not he would probadly not be remembered.
Now we could go on and say Joyboy created the DFs, he could hear the voice of all things, maybe had a faible (as Ruffy) for music or was a musican or could even speak to all things. So he infused the tree with the will of all. His own too and maybe friends. Or he just ate the first one (like Ruffy would).
Maybe he just wanted everybody to have a blast with strange, fantastic and ridicoulus abilities to enjoy life. Therefore creating an epic party empire which the 20 "Kingdoms" saw as a threat.
In conclusion, Ruffy isnt Joyboy, but "the Boy with Joy" ready to party and change the world. Like his DF he can twirl and twist himself and all and everything around him in a good way.

"Monkey Don Ruffy" will find the One Piece, the one song of the voice of everything. The song to rally behind, shout to the world, to everything and everyone. With the sound of Binks Sake and some reveiling information, so everybody can sing it with them.

For Haki, you should look into the Catholic Theology of Will and Intellect. The Pure Spirits (Angels and Demons) are said to have more or less two things in common with the spiritual souls of human beings: intellect/understanding/knowing and will/love/desire.
The Angels are more powerful than us because their spiritual capacities of intellect and will aren't as limited, they know every bare fact about a thing the second they turn their attention to it and they have enough willpower that even the weakest, if not restrained by God, could destroy the whole earth.
The preturnatural powers of demons like levitation and such are accomplished by their will.
Now look back at the 3 kinds of haki. One allows a person to see beyond sight, just like the occult knowledge of demons which functions as their eyes. One allows for physical manifestation of their spirit like the will of demons causing thing to levitate, and the last is the ability to dominate lesser wills which demons demonstrate during possession.
Maybe I'm reaching but all things being equal it's worth looking into.

I don't think Devil Fruits are powered by light as you're suggesting. For one thing, Devil Fruit users lose their strength even if they're still right below the surface of the water where sunlight can still reach them. Another thing against this idea is that, if it was really the absence of light that caused the Devil Fruits users to lose their strength, the would also be powerless if they were locked in a dark room, but we've seen that Devil Fruit users retain their strength and access to their abilities even in total darkness, so clearly that is not the case.
That said, I don't think you're wrong about EVERYTHING you discussed in this video. I've heard plenty of people drawing parallels between One Piece lore and Christianity and never took it seriously beyond the use of a few biblical names because a lot of their comparisons felt kind of forced. The observations you make on that subject here, however, have convinced me there may be something to it after all and inspired a few thoughts of my own that you didn't mention. I need to do some studying and research, but you may very well have just sent me down a rabbit hole that will lead me to everything from the name of the ancient kingdom to several specific events from the Void Century, and even to how the final arc of the series will play out, so I definitely have to thank you. And yes, I will definitely credit you as my inspiration when my theory is complete!

If darkness nullifies light then how did Nika guide the soul of darkness into a fruit?
My best guess would be that the soul/voice or something doesn’t necessarily share its properties. It’s not like the soul of rubber, for example, is stretchy - nor is the soul of ice is frozen. It has to combine with something to create those powers through altering lineage factor (this much, at least, has been confirmed).
I wish I had all the answers here, but there’s just a lot of blanks to fill in and not enough information right now. However in simplest terms I would say Darkness has a voice, too, just like everything else. It’s the voice of all things, not the voice of some things. The better question IMO is not how, but rather why? Why make the yami yami fruit?
Listening to this after 1062! Vegapunk figured out the secret to devil fruit powers… and he/she/they/them has photon light grabbing gloves! Perhaps VP literally grabs the light body of the soul or it’s shadow and throws it into things like Moria with his shadow fruit

Ok so many things first I LOVE the theory and it has helped fill in alot of missing pieces to my personal theory of one piece. Absolutely brilliant and love the theory. Now that I've gotten the theory response out of the way I want take a hot second to just appreciate your presentation SO much. I found the Hidden Island on a longer car ride and I was just so enthralled by the entire concept. The hidden island with a smooth jazz bar where the host invites fans to come in, sit down, and chat about some One Piece. I don't think I've ever slammed the subscribe button harder. This is so my vibe I wish this was the template for theory videos. Just can not say enough good things. Can't wait to see more from you.

Ok so I have a theory about how Blackbeard stole Whitebeard's fruit.
So taking what this video has taught me and considering that this could be true than I believe t he blanket that Blackbeard put over whitebeard conceals all light and this is just speculation but I think that in the presence of no light Blackbeard can take a fruit and conceal it inside his darkness thus being able to use it whenever he wishes.
Now obviously this is simply a theory and its probably wrong but It would make sense for this to be true if this video is correct.
Blackbeard is the ultimate oppressor. He's taking away the voices of other devil fruits. Even the world government can't do that.

I hate watching videos like this. On one side you feel stupid for not realizing what was just pointed out in the video on your own. On the other side you know you watched a good video because it made you have a "Duh-epiphany."
I’d go to say that even the dials support your theory of the voice of all things stuff they’re called breaths and they kinda mirror devil fruits being objects with mysterious powers associated with the sea.
I like the idea that the dials may parallel dfs in some way. They even have the spiral pattern. Only one of the many dials used were called breath dials, so I’m not sure if I agree with that point. However, the dials also represent shells, which either contain or once contained a living thing like the devil/voice inside the fruits. This was a great point especially considering many believe Skypeia to parallel the entirety of the plot in some way or another.
This video is phenomenal, timeless, and I would’ve wish they would. It would’ve been a lot longer.
