This is one of the best and most beautiful analysis of One Piece i have seen, a truly great video fit of the great man and father Whitebeard was. And this is what makes OnePiece so special, even after years of following the series, you can still spend hours and hours talking and thinking about it, without ever reaching its bottom, there's always some new connection or interpretation to be had that makes it even better. Whitebeard's connection to the moon, thanks to his moustache of all things! is incredible and i love it. He was the moon that lit up the sky while the world waited for the sun to rise up again. He (and shanks as well) was the keeping the balance of the world, but not for the sake of maintaining his own power like the WG, but for the sake of normal people and his family, he's one of the main reasons why the one piece hasn't been found yet, he was a gatekeeper waiting for someone like roger, the next sun that would bring the dawn. One of the most interesting and different versions of inherited will in the series, that i had not thought of before watching this video, so thanks for that.

Great video. My head-canon is that, if Whitebeard did have a biological son, it’d be Jack. Both Jack and Weevil were introduced around the same time, with Weevil serving as a red herring. Jack’s tusks parallel Whitebeard’s stache as well as his blonde hair and massive frame. His fishman heritage could easily tie to Whitebeard claiming Fishman Island as his territory etc.

Brother I am watching this video a year and a half after it was uploaded. But bro I cannot express how much I appreciate that you made this video . Whitebeard is literally my top 1 in all anime. And I literally respect him more than 99% of people I know irl. I lost my father 10 years ago and man o man I love WB so much because his character resonates with me so much. When he apologised at the end to his sons, it ripped my heart to see him say goodbye. Whitebeard lived like a legend and fied like TRUE LEGEND!!
It’s crazy to me the Whitebeard was hyped up as this tyrannical ruler of the Sea, but the Paramount war showed us so much more. Even the past showing how he went from being a Rocks pirate to a friend of Roger, adds a lot to Whitebeard’s view on what it means to be a pirate, a friend, and family.

Listening to the last part of this video, hearing your upbringing also reminded me of mine. My father died when I was quite young, it was also a hard childhood anyways because my parents fought so much. But it really opened my eyes, because in a matter of seconds you can be happy but then everything could crumble down to pieces. What I’m trying to say is, a part of my liking to Ace is because of my dad. I could see and tell that I had remnants of his argumentative, easily frustrated attitude whenever I am arguing with someone. Or when I take my anger out on someone. I don’t want to have that similar trait of his, and so I’ve prompted myself to travel in my own footsteps and improve myself as a whole.
This channel has made me appreciate the depth and brilliance of Oda's work in a way I had never before considered, and I find myself in awe of his artistry more than ever. Eiichiro Oda undoubtedly stands as one of the greatest mangaka, storytellers and creators of our time. I fell out of love with One Piece over time due to different reasons, I prefer way more the pre-timeskip part of OP but that's just me. This video though, it's honestly really awesome and really well done! I love that you talk about different things that are not even related to One Piece, like alchemy or the Manji symbol, and I also really appreciated the last bit of the video, where you got more personal. Well done
Its interesting how blackbeard and luffy move forward. Blackbeard took whitebeard's power and a lot of his territory, as well as his yonko status, but luffy took whitebeards morals and legacy as a strong and kind protector, allowing his power and influence to grow over time
