- Sea fishing widewater lagoon at Shoreham. Sea fishing from the shore in Sussex. Sea fishing in the UK.Fished the tide up and then back out again.
Fish caught were Mackerel, Bream,Gurnard, Flounder and Plaice in the company of Ross and a subscriber called Martin.
Weather gentle breeze, overcast and warm. Baits used were lugworm and ragworm fished close in onto an area of mixed shingle and sand.
Hands down one of the best channels around presently thanks for the shout outs you've made 3 little girls very happy and the pronunciation of the names was spot on
I fished Pagham Saturday evening with relative success
3x black bream 1 of which 1.5lb and 4 bass all undersized but up to 1lb 1 conger around 4lb

Hi metalguru I know exactly what you mean there is a strong camaraderie amongst fishermen. Very similar when I was in the military and the bond and the humour was very similar which is part of why I go fishing even though I keep getting beaten. Hi Carl all good down here fella and nice to hear from you. Cannot beat a bit of humour and light hearted competition on the beach and one of the many reasons I go fishing as most fishermen are good people to have a laugh with. Fishing was my saviour during COVID as would have gone stir crazy indoors all the time. Am back out next Monday a week tomorrow as wife’s big birthday this week and my son is over to visit from Poland so a couple of beers will be drunk stay safe and best regards from down south cheers Paul 👍👍🐠🐠

Am sitting here with a lager and am going again on Saturday to Seles East beach although weather going to be crap.Am fishing with Andy and will be targeting something bigger so will probably fish to rods with pulley rigs on and big baits one close and one at distance. Hi chap used to work near Silva and fished whenever I was down that way miss the rugged beaches, great people and Brains beer 🍺 the chatter and the humour is another reason why I go fishing and it has been a rock for me in good and tough times. Hi Lee thanks for those kind words and really appreciated 👍 I started fishing when I was a nipper and was obsessed about it and then joined the military so did not then fish to often, then married and kids. I always promised myself that when I had more time would start fishing again and trying to share my passion about fishing and the real side of the sport. Sadly I made that stupid mistake of going through the loft with the if you ain't used it in 5 years get shot.... 15 years later I have bumbled together a collection of the most basic gear just to get me on the beach again 🙄 a few things more needed (budget is the commando factor) and I will arrange a back at it trip 😂 probably pevensey bay as I am about half hours drive from it... thanks for the reply means A lot 👍🏻👍🏻

Thanks Colin for that and have focussed last several vids down Shoreham way to try and get a better understanding of a beach local to me and obviously after a plaice or two as other venues not fishing too well at this time of the year. Hi Richard Sod’s law I was beaten again but my excuse is I had to film, set shots up and it takes a lot of time lol but day was still brilliant and met some really nice folk. Barbeque? NO keep a few for winter bait. Best bait around but they have to be frozen that day - Preferably when rigour mortice is still present. I have caught many good bass on fresh frozen mackerel not to mention hundreds of good whiting. Eat some by all means but bait is the best use for them. Most of my Float fished mackerel (100s) have been on mackerel strip (and returned) . Oh yes and GURNARD too! Tight lines!
Hi Kerry good advice indeed and will take it. I take ice blocks with me so keeping some on ice for bait should work. Certainly be good when other bait is scarce. I do like returning most of my fish to fight another day as they look so vibrant and give me such pleasure from watching the bites to the fight they give. Nice catch by all. Very tempted to hit the south coast just for some sport with mackerel lure fishing. Been to Paros and can confirm that it is indeed very nice (especially Naoussa)! Keep em coming Paul.

Great video, especially the chat you was all having towards the end felt like a TV show haha quality stuff and good people. I was fishing at Seaford today and had the same experience with the whitebait jumping out the water and the mackerel just 1 meter out. People was catching non stop.
Hi fella thanks for the positive feedback and yes mackerel frenzy is back on the south coast and people going bonkers for them but they do taste good. Part of why I go fishing is the humour and meeting great people on the beach and getting out with good people to share the experience. Hi Stephen something I always wanted to do. When I was in my twenties and then in later years promised myself rain or shine once I had some extra time I would not squander it and would go fishing. Am always hoping for that monster and having watched the likes of Jeremy Wade etc you have to roll with the disappointments and put the hours in and keep going. I also love the freedom I get on the beach for mind and body makes me very happy 😃 Cheers Paul 👍👍🐠🐠
