It's been quite awhile since they did anything with the title. Currently considered abandoned, over the silence. A shame. Looked really cool. Definitely would have picked it up.
I think competition is really useful. it could either replace elder scrolls or make elder scrolls step up their game when more and more people start to make far better games that offer all elder scrolls could, but more. never played isle of adalar, but I'm inclined to support it so that it may be what I hope it to be. a game where I can lose myself in an alive world where your choices matter and your escapades are decided by the character you build and not just higher numbers. that would be great.
I think if you can afford it buy it, because the more people who buy the more motivated the team will be to update and finish it. I will be buying it on my next pay, i don't want the devs to abandon a game with this much potential
Your individual contribution doesn't matter. It's a business. Devs need constant cash flow to stay afloat. Look up the game on steamdb essentially its 0-1 players playing per day for years. It's not financially viable for Devs to continue development. Early Access at its best.
That's not how that works. If the team is not motivated now, after releasing a consumer product to upkeep said consumer product, I'm not giving my money to a company that walks away because they can just as easily NOT be motivated later. "Here, take my money in the hopes it will trigger an avalanche just so MAYBE the game I bought will be updated" No. Hell no.
You might be able to help the devs and help players find the game if ya mentioned the games name in the description, or maybe put a link to the steam store page in a comment. I found it but it looks like it's abandoned, no updates in a while.
Sounds very promising. One minor criticism from the shots of the game we see here, the bow doesn't move as it's drawn and fired, it doesn't bend at all as it should... I have the feeling that would really bug me a lot while playing this game
Checked out your channel and I can’t believe the lack of content, this video seems so well put together. I am genuinely impressed by your editing skills, keep it up and you’ll be famous in no time

Okay how do you not have like over 100k or something with you production quality and such, pleeeeease keep making videos because you have such a good formula to get a massive audience
The thing with Skyrim, is by now it has a crapton of player-created mods. There is also a thing called Wabbajack- which allows you to download a nice list of 1000+ nice all in one click which work with each other, and as a result you get modern game entirely different from Vanilla Skyrim. Its a game that will be very difficult to outmatch because you'd have to invest not just thousands, but millions of hours into developing to make it as good as the modern skyrim with mods.
Okay, so I think the reason why we don't see that many straight-up Skyrim clones is because Skyrim's gameplay concept actually has quite a few problems under the surface, which is why developers make sure to only take inspiration from what actually works, and also why the Skyrim community is so heavily reliant on modding.
I think it’s more the immense amount of work adding the amount of detail that the game has. Sure, it has a lot of writing and plot issues, but it’s still a massive monument in gaming history that took a heap of work to function.
@@stoopidapples1596 It's not just writing and plot issues, it's also gameplay issues, like the combat getting redundant, some of the systems not being perfectly thought through, etc. And yeah, Skyrim is indeed a massive monument in gaming history despite all these issues. No doubt about it. It practically kickstarted the new Open World trend of the 2010s. That's already a huge achievement.
Its not reliant on modding and im so tired of people saying that. No one would bother to mod a "mid" or "bad" game. Vanilla Skyrim is great, thats why people mod it, to add onto the already existing stuff. If you sprinkle gold to a pile of garbage than it still wouldnt change the fact that it is trash.
My favorite thing about the game was the fact if I got halfway through the game as a two-handed warrior and I wanted to just pick up a one-handed weapon I could and it didn't take away my points in two-handed

@@JustBuyTheWaywardsRealms not archer , stealth archer but thats fun as well.
Stealth is fun , requires too much abuse of F5 and F9 but when u finally pull out ur x16 in legendary dif, it feels "Legendary"
The modding community is insane for Skyrim, it's just unbelievable how many high quality mods people have made over the years. And more recently the VR version has been turned into a completely different beast thanks to the mod community, the vanilla VR version was very barebones and modders have added pretty much every feature you would expect from a native VR game if not more
I know Bethesda has said they fully support modding but I hope they stick to that in TES6 whenever that comes out, it's going to be amazing to see what the community can achieve then and we wont have to rely on a 10+ year old game anymore
It’s amazing how quickly you’ve gained traction on TH-cam. Keep up the great work mate!
Kingdom come deliverance is sooooo underrated
Yesss, at first I was having some difficulty playing it but after a while it got soooo fun, traveling through that beautiful map and hunting still gives me chills
@@Notmeggii it's by far one of the most realistic games too, even combat you have to learn, you have no ability like strength and speed without training , and the combat (while aggravating) makes it to where you have to try and pay attention
It's been quite awhile since they did anything with the title. Currently considered abandoned, over the silence.
A shame. Looked really cool. Definitely would have picked it up.
Now with that 'You're finally awake' line, that alone makes it a 100% Skyrim clone
I think competition is really useful. it could either replace elder scrolls or make elder scrolls step up their game when more and more people start to make far better games that offer all elder scrolls could, but more. never played isle of adalar, but I'm inclined to support it so that it may be what I hope it to be. a game where I can lose myself in an alive world where your choices matter and your escapades are decided by the character you build and not just higher numbers. that would be great.
the skyrim music in the background made me emotional
Since Bethesda hasn't come up with Elder Scrolls VI yet, it's promising to know that there are other options in development. Thanks!
i hope microsoft will not fuck the project
This is an insta-wishlist and follow on steam for me. Thanks for getting the word out and I look forward to buying in when the time is right.
"Here, take my money in the hopes it will trigger an avalanche just so MAYBE the game I bought will be updated"
No. Hell no.
@@JaymeSplendid and this mentality is what happens when you are handed everything and never have to work for reward
The algorithm gods did us all a favor by recommending you, these videos are top tier
You might be able to help the devs and help players find the game if ya mentioned the games name in the description, or maybe put a link to the steam store page in a comment.
I found it but it looks like it's abandoned, no updates in a while.
Thanks for showing me this game, I can now finally enjoy gaming once again. Playing non stop entire life Skyrim like action/rpgs is all I want.
It looks like it's been abandoned, tbh.
that's unfortunate that my laptop will blow up from even a thought of installing this game.
Sounds very promising.
One minor criticism from the shots of the game we see here, the bow doesn't move as it's drawn and fired, it doesn't bend at all as it should... I have the feeling that would really bug me a lot while playing this game
Damn, I'm still not finished my skyrim playtrough
Same here, I started in 2011 and I still feel like I never truly finished it. I'm not sure it's possible to do so.
Checked out your channel and I can’t believe the lack of content, this video seems so well put together. I am genuinely impressed by your editing skills, keep it up and you’ll be famous in no time
The lack of content is because they are brand new
@@Grave_of_the_Sea He understood that, Captain Obvious
@@nelcorazs I don't think he did.
At least I’m not the only one who explores steam for something new
I bought their top pack on kickstarter or whatever it was yeeeeears ago and haven't played it since. honestly still hoping it comes out someday. I'm still waiting for ashes of creation and I backed that game even earlier
Bro could have a future in radio and audio books I can imagine
I wish there were more "Skyrim clone" games. There are really no alternatives to TES series.
To be fair, we've had many Souls-likes and Doom Clones, I'm more surprised it took this long for us to have Skyrim Copies
Okay how do you not have like over 100k or something with you production quality and such, pleeeeease keep making videos because you have such a good formula to get a massive audience
Hell just have to lower his quality
Ambitious project, at this pace it might be somewhat complete in 3-5 years. Best of luck to them.
Absolutely killer videos, can’t wait for more
Fascinating! I had forgotten this even existed!
This game looks so good, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
the algorithm has blessed this video in these hours. hello brothers and sisters.
Indeed my brother! Praise be the algorithm gods!
This is million sub channel quality
Henry Cavill called he wants his voice back
Did you mod your voice sir and if you did could you post the modlist? Sounds too clean and imemrsive.
Dude when TES VI come I'll be soo freaking happy that I won't even mind if it'll be disappointing
good work keep going
The thing with Skyrim, is by now it has a crapton of player-created mods. There is also a thing called Wabbajack- which allows you to download a nice list of 1000+ nice all in one click which work with each other, and as a result you get modern game entirely different from Vanilla Skyrim. Its a game that will be very difficult to outmatch because you'd have to invest not just thousands, but millions of hours into developing to make it as good as the modern skyrim with mods.
These quality videos make me want to return to Skyrim. Your doing amazing work
Hey bro very good video, keep it up you will go from 6k subs to 6 mill!
Gears 5 :kait diaz, a slap on the wrist
Gears of war : Marcus fenix, 14 year sentence
So many games out there that have amazing potential that never gets seen-through...
My favorite thing about the game was the fact if I got halfway through the game as a two-handed warrior and I wanted to just pick up a one-handed weapon I could and it didn't take away my points in two-handed
It's weird that there's no real Skyrim competitor with like a whole simulation sandbox "choose your own adventure" sorta thing
Hope we get some more healthy competition for games like Elder Scrolls, Sims, etc.
Brand new channel and already loving the content!
Glad the algorithm led me to you mate. Digging your vids.
Subbed!
"issues like bugs, clunky animations, awkward combat" exatly like skyrim
You failed to mention the biggest selling point... CO OP
Can't be worse than Skyrim. The bar is pretty low.
I didnt know you could turn into a darn vampire until last night when I turned into one 😳😭😭😂😂😂and fought a darn werewolf
Thought this was Henry Cavill when he started speaking
There are Skyrim mods that are updated regularly and are essentially an entire new game in the same world.
It absolutely blows my mind how no other AAA game company hasn't tried to make a proper Skyrim killer when the success of this game is not hard to see.
No mans sky grew into a massive game with a little time no reason to think this game couldn't.
I feel kinda happy that Tetris is on top of that list. I never realized just how big Tetris is, and I love Tetris
It was only a matter of time before game developers would made games so realistic the realistic qualities would look the same.
Yeah, this is the only video of yours that I've seen and your final "why not subscribe" was quote on point. The argument is laid out pretty well, the convincing is pretty strong and so you've got yourself a new subscriber.
P.S. Also, the community I see in the comments seems quite intelligent and civil, so screw it) subscribed)
Secunda playing in the background is nice
Skyrim is an Action Adventure game, not really an RPG
