@@christophertaylor9100I wish they just didn’t make the dragonborn archmage. Even with her dead, it makes no sense. Surely the one of the professors would make a better archmage than the dragonborn, who may not even use magic and who is obviously going to leave the college to pursue bigger things. Pretty sure there’s a place more terrifying than #13’s spider cave. I think it’s in the Reach, an abandoned fort buried in the mountain. A conjuror moved in and started experimenting on spiders giving them cloak spell effects. Imagine, a giant Frostbite Spider with a lightning cloak. No thank you. That last one made me laugh. That really is how you become agod without becoming a god. The Thalmor wouldn't like you though, as they'd want to know your current location to put your corpse on a pike, or turn it into ash with magic, but luckily for us, we're the dragonborn, and depending on which side you pick in the Skyrim civil war, either has the Empire or the Stormcloaks on your side, but it's always better to side with the Empire, because the Thalmor can't lay their glubby little fingers on you, as that would start a new war between the Empire and Aldmeri Dominion, which the elves would lose, because the Empire now has a dragonborn on their side. Plus, it's the quickest way to truly re-unite Skyrim, and because pretty much everyone hates the Thalmor, elves, humans, Khajiits and Argonians would flock to the Empire. I've seen what the Empire is capable of doing when they really want to put their enemies down.

    2. Create fortify restoration potion
    3. Take fortify restoration potion
    4. Unequip and reequip the alchemy ring. Each time you do this, it'll get more powerful. This is due to how fortify restoration, potions and alchemy work.

Honestly. I like being a vampire as a warrior class. During the night your physical stats get a slight buff w/out being transformed. And if I need mid to long range, the transformed blood magic gets pretty OP since it has splash dmg and heals you also. Likewise as a mage I found werewolf useful for close range, if I'm getting mobbed I can simply transform and start tearing stuff up. Think it's counter productive to use a magic based transformation with a magic based character, and melee transformation with melee character. The transformation becomes redundant pretty quick after midgame otherwise, as you get pretty OP without any buffs from the subspecies. Just my opinion.

Necromage doesn't just increase Restoration, it increases the effectiveness of *all* magic against you. That includes enemy Destruction spells, but it also includes things like Standing Stones and Perks. Just grab the Atranoch Stone and the Atranoch perk from the Alteration tree and you'll gain 100% spell absorption. This is one of 2 ways to receive 100% spell absorption, rendering you immune to all hostile magic, (as well as your own summoning spells and a bunch of other random effects,) so it makes vampires one of the strongest late-game options.
The other way to get 100% absorption is via the Fortify Restoration loop, but that's broken for its own reasons.

I bought Skyrim on release and had a vacation planned for it. I spent 117 hours in the game that week. No-lifed it. I've played it off and on through the years and have thousands of accrued hours. Currently I am lvl 11 Thief sneaky-snipe in the Wildlander Modpack... The game just doesn't get old.

There's an easier (and cheaper) way to do the fortify loop, if you enchant something with fortify alchemy then create a fortify restoration potion, drink it, then reequip your fortify alchemy gear, you'll find that the enchantment is ever so slightly stronger, so you make another fortify restoration potion drink it, reequip, higher numbers. The restoration loop is much faster and less resource intensive than the fortify loop. One thing to note, avoid the yellow flowers added with the Dawnguard DLC, they might let you make fortify restoration potions with higher scaling, but for some reason it doesn't stack, so it won't go above a certain threshold

@pelipoika88 You see, I never liked using magic in fantasy games. I'm always going for the good old sword and shield, with a bow as a ranged backup weapon.

@ I get that. I tend to focus on "rogue" stuff. Stealth, stealing, assassination, dagger to the back, bow from distance...
I have had fun deviating from that recently.
But conjuration spells allow me to see the spiders less so no matter how badly they fit for my character, my arachnophobic ass needs the help.

Cicero can't be the Adoring Fan, he'd have to be over 200 years old for that since Oblivion is set that far before Skyrim. The only conceivable way of him really being the Fan would be if Cicero attained vampirism at some point..but it's really unlikely.

I figured out the fortify exploit on my own but with smithing and alchemy maybe to make stronger smithing potions I thought it was just a feature of the game I ended up making swords that could one hit anything in the game. The only thing I ever had trouble with was the ebony knight. I also found that exploit with the one book you get from hermia before they patched it.

If people think Vampire is weak, they certainly didn't play it as a mage. With the Necromage perk, i was able to get myself to 100% spell absorption with the Atronach perk and stone and would tank dragon shouts. I was basically a god. Enchantments are the tip of the iceberg

#15 can be even faster; rather than making new alchemy gear over and over, just make a Restoration buffing potion, drink it, unequip and reequip the alchemy gear, make another restoration potion, and continue that cycle 5-10 times, but don't get greedy, the numbers can go negative if you go too high.
Then, make a TON of Restoration potions that are super powered-, use them to make better enchanting potions, and uber enchant ALL you gear however you want.
