I always remove the dealer tag/stickers from the back of my cars because those little stickers are free advertising for the dealer. Unless you're getting paid to drive around with the dealership name on your car ,take it off...(do you know what a sticker that size would cost on a nascar racer?... approx $50,000 a season.)...

What in the world kind of logic says "buy new car for better interest rate" as opposed to just getting a refi at a lower rate? That's some "boy math" right there.

I kinda wanted the 2024, but I'm just having a hard time warming up to the body style and thus far it's just not doing it for me. Am sticking with the S550, at least for the time being. Saw this near exact red car delivered to a local dealer Friday. Monday afternoon went to look at it sold but at least I could see it and talk to the buyer, a retired Ford engineer. We both recently sold our older models to upgrade. Only GT this dealer had. Off to another dealer for a test drive. Test drove a GT Premium, no Performance Pack, was totally impressed compared to my 2006 which I honestly had no complaints on. I started with wanting a hardtop manual, comprised with my wife on a convertible with auto transmission. Dealer swap may have one in a day or two with the Performance Pack.

Never heard of a car loan that works like a home loan. You should not be paying 2/3 interest a month. That is amortization and used for 30 year loans where you pay more interest than principal your first years.

  • @TorqueTalk2
    @TorqueTalk2 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The easy way to stay off of a car payment is to take out the loan completely with 20-30% down then completely pay it off on a equity line so that way you only pay the interest on what you pay on your mortgage which is definitely a lot less.

I think I need to make a video so I can education people on how to purchase vehicles.
You never want to get financed through the dealer. You go to your credit union and get pre approved. You take that pre approval to the dealer you want to purchase from. You ask for an “options contract” and that gives you a week to get it financed through your credit union. Simple. You never get financed through dealer.
Also, you dont even have to go to dealer to haggle. You call dealer and make your offer as low as you want. They can come to agreement via phone. I’ve come to an agreement most of the time through email or phone. I only haggled a couple cars in person.
Bought all the following brand new.
2012 mustang 5.0: got it for 5k off MSRP
2014 Evo x GSR, got it for 5k off MSRP
2018 dodge Charger rt/scat pack: got it for 8k off MSRP
2019 ford raptor: custom ordered at MSRP
    2019 mustang 5.0 pp1 10 speed: over 6k off MSRP
2021 jeep Trackhawk: only 4k markup when everyone in Cali was paying 20k markup. So still good.
Also, never get warranty, gap, or any of the added bullshit. Look through your contract carefully and make them take added shit out.
I help all my friends and family get cars. I get the lowest possible price and best deal. I go in and hold it down like a boss. I’m a narcissistic successful douchbag so no pos salesperson or finance manager is intimidating me.
And I’m in Cali. We have the highest markups here. If I lived in another state, I would have even done better on all of the vehicles I mentioned.

My credit union finances used cars at 4.9@75 months, which is better than the 5.9@72, which is what Ford has on new Mustangs right now. I Def wouldn't trade it because of the rate.

He's not taking the MagneRide suspension off, he said it didn't have MagneRide just like his previous Mustang, so he's able to transfer the suspension parts to the new car. Really though it just comes down to the springs, shocks/struts as MagneRide requires a different type of spring rate.

These days, manuals are slower than the autos and no one drives them anymore - dealers prefer trade ins with autos, because very few buy manuals these days. Also, do need to get better finance and payments. Should have could have, but anyway, good that you got this worked out with the new one.

The s550 is a better car. More performance stock, open cpu( wont fry if you try to tune it w/o ford license)
No stupid tesla dash( analog control> touch screen)
    Lower cost.
My 18GT pp1 out drag raced a dark horse, has 5 less hp on chassis dyno and cost almost half as much. Sorry to anyone who bought a Dark Horse!

Bruh…I would’ve walked out the dealership laughing if they offered me 10%. I’m glad you made the right decision to trade it for a better rate but next time, just wait. Doesn’t matter how well off you are. We work hard for our money and we should refuse to pay those kinds of rates/prices for something that only depreciates, especially if your credit history looks like mine. I’m not buying unless it’s under 2% AND negotiate the price of the car.

Man. Car is beautiful. Love the Race Red. I’m an Ox White guy myself but the Race Red, specifically on the 650,looks really good to my eyes…
However, owning 3 550’s, 2 AE snd the last and current FIVE OH, a non AE, i gotta say, not having the AE affects the tone the car will have from
Here on out. Had I known the 21’ I’m
Driving now didn’t have the AE I never would have made the purchase. I assumed it did. Bought it sight unseen out of northern VA and I live in Mt Pleasant SC which is Charleston SC adjacent. 2021 GT premium PP1 with Mag Ride, B and O and Recaros. Car was absolutely loaded. In fact, the ONLY option not on my car was the AE. A $55k assumption which became my $55k mistake..
I put Magnaflow on it as my good bud has a 2022 GT with AE and he has the Magnaflow and inserts the deepest , old school muscle car sound you can buy today… hand down. I thought I would be Abel to fix the issues of not having AE through the aftermarket.
I was wrong. My buddy’s car sounds richer, the tonality of his car is much more robust and full. Mine still has that tinny sound.
Mustangs have always had great sounding exhaust going back to the Fox days. But this AE on these Mustangsbis so good… it makes the non AE cars fall flat in comparisons. Again, my bud and I have same exact exhaust set up. Only variation , his car has AE.
Yiu can def make your car louder. There’s no doubt about that. But, the tone of an AE Stang is simply fuller, more rich and just tighter..
Perhaps the exhaust you select will have a diff outcome? Although I highly doubt it. Maybe yo don’t care as much as I do and then this is just a bunch of hot air
    Beautiful ride man, enjoy!

  • @KutWrite
    @KutWrite 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

Surely you know that a dealer's financing is always costly. I would only do that to get a price discount, then have "real" financing ready to pay that off the next day.
But I also don't buy new cars. Big waste of dough. You also lost at least $5k by trading this car, plus what a dealer will overcharge you for the worth of the trade. How can you possibly make that up in a couple of months? This is from a former compulsive trader (record is 4 cars in one year).
Now, if you're doing this for emotional reasons, I have no quibble. We want what we want, and if we have the means, it shall be done!
PS "Tax write-off" only gives you a saving equal to your tax rate, it doesn't make the entire write-off amount disappear.

Hey Zander congratulations on the new car! I know you really like the Red because of your 2019! I also get the savings and I’m starting to realize you just enjoy putting on and taking off parts cause my guy you do it a tremendous amount! I get if some are about the new parts always going on their cars! I am a little older and don’t want to be in the garage as much so I keep my cars a bit longer! (Every TH-camr just went WHAT??? ) no way!! But I’m not a TH-cam person so I know this is the pressure of that platform! I’m actually a little surprised by this in I know you are a Drag Racer and you know the 10 speed is soooo much better for that! Zander what really connects us car guys is the power and handing of a car and its performance if we are honest! I raced Pro Stick for 6 years and the only reason I did was because it was the faster (mild) platform in the Fox body! But today’s Auto’s are so much better and shifting it manual is the same if you pull a paddle or a lever! I think you’ll miss the auto ( I know your 24 was manual) and in a few months you’ll be trading this car and going back to the 10 speed! Either way I enjoy your videos and as a fellow believer in Christ!! God Bless Sir!! Good luck with the new ride!!

When the 2018 GT was released Ford boasted about the 3.9 second 0 to 60. I have not seen ford put out any statement boasting the same or better with the 2024. If they have I have not seen it. With the release of the 2024 they really emphasized horsepower new aesthetics and technology. The aesthetics in my opinion have fallen short and the rest has yet to be proven. Best of luck to you, but you won't have any at all if you keep following the herd.

There is a soft & hard limiter.. shift earlier.. you don't want to be hitting the limiter on coyote's.. your gonna hurt it.. that's how you break guides, tensioners, and worst of all oil pump gears & cam sprocket.. They rev so quick you should be shooting for 7000-7100 in a stick car as there is a bit of throttle hang/over run in the TB..
