I bought the same exact car, brother. No H pipe though.. not yet. A lady on a phone rear-ended me about a month ago. Broke my heart. The car is still in the shop getting fixed. It was my retirement gift. I miss it. Best car I've had. I have no complaints. Love taking it for long rides. I never get tired of that V8 sound. I agree with the performance package. I didn't get it either.
I've had 3 GTs...2015, 2020 and 2024. The 24 is the best yet. Absolutely love this car. It's been awesome to own, mod (H-pipe, Lower Springs, Wheels/Tires and Tint) and drive.
My 2022 GT 6-speed gets 26 mpg highway driving if I don't heavy foot it. I frequently drive a 4 hour trip to the coast - one way and then back home within the same day and I was very comfortable - I'm 63 years old.
I too drive down to the coast regularly, I enjoy seeing all the Mustangs on the side of the road, F.O.R.D. (Found on the Road Dead).....I'll stick to my Prius ✊
I have a 2019 with every option except the engine block heater. It's my second vehicle and strictly for pleasure driving. I only have 7k miles on it and plan to keep it until I die. I'm old, so that may seem odd to some people.
Thanks for the great video. I have the same car without the "blacked out" option. Being a retired boomer I grew up with the 60's muscle cars. My 65 GTO had 360 HP and I thought it was fast until I got my hands on this beast. Unreal power. Once again thanks for the great video.
Chevy Sonic from college until mid 2024, then got the eco. Just went to pick up a black-blacked-out (pony) GT+Perf Pack+Active Exhaust. Here confirming my purchase was a good one. Rad video, man.
Love mine! It has been my favorite car ever (my 12th new car). It's got everything I wanted. Looks, power, comfort, handling technology and sounds awesome with the variable exhaust. I got the 2024 GT premium/401A package. For comparison, my previous car was a Mercedes SL 550 roadster (twin turbo V8) and after owning the Mercedes I would take one Mustang over two SL 550's any day, assuming I was told that I could never sell any of them! I bought is as my retirement gift. I just hope it lasts me a long time since retirement and less disposable income is just a few months away. Not sure what's going on with you low mileage though. I average around 18.1 MPH in the city and 22 on the highway but I very rarely exceed 4500 RPM. That's enough to leave most average cars behind. Guys hate to lose to a woman-lol! The only thing that I would have liked to see in the car would be a touchpad in front of the center console, but once you set everything to your liking in the custom drive modes you rarely have to touch the screen anyways and it's easy and close enough to reach. Congratulations on your ride!
Performance pack gives you SO much - yes! It is well worth it if you ever want to track the car or drive it hard. BTW, your tires look like excessive wear due to being overinflated. Look periodically for excessive wear on the outer part or center of tires and adjust pressure accordingly. There are plenty of good videos or forums about that so I won't explain.
I got mine 2 days ago blacked out preformance pack active exhaust pretty much almost every option except the inside leather and screen. Its pretty much the premium version, where i live its hot as fuck so even if i turn on the cool seats itll take a long minute to cool down and i dont wanna get burned. Upgrades that im probably gonna do is H-pipe, people recommended resonator delete and H-Pipe if u like that deep growl, im getting ceramic tints 42% so legal limit, dark enough for me, im also probably going to get the dark horse wing and thats literally it im gonna do, i think it’s perfect. I actually did a 0-60 and clocked 3.75s which blew my mind lmao, im not someone who drives a lot but this car is so enjoyable that i just find myself wanting to schedule a place to drive to. Overall i think whoever is looking to buy this car, don’t listen to negative reviews go out and test it out and drive it, OH also handing for ME is fucking amazing super smooth, but it also might be the packages i got. But this car is by far the funnest car i have ever owned .
I just bought my third Mustang, my dream car. It's a sleek sliver GT with active exhaust!!! Very elegant and aggressive too. Kinda like the owner. LOL -- Many happy smiles to goooooo!!! -- Thanks for a great, REAL review from a daily driver and in all four seasons. That'll be me too. 30 miles one way in the heart of the USA.
just got one, drove it back across my state and got 27.5 mpg (with the 10-speed). It gets great mileage if you just drive it like a normal car i.e. don't get into it at every light.
53k?! Damn so out the door, you payed almost 60 if not more😮 man i bought my 17gt for 30 after financing in 2020. I refuse to pay that much for a stang and i own 2 of them.
53k out the door, but the prices do go up each year. The 2025 Mustangs are more expensive than the 2024s. I had a 2020 GT I bought new for $42k so I feel the pain lol
I have a Grabber Blue 17 Ecoboost with Perf.Pkg. 275/40/19 all around.Paid $30k new in 2017.165k miles,not one problem,Best car I have ever owned.I would most likely be dead with the V-8.Had a 90 LX 5.0,and a 2000 GT.
I loved this video! Its crazy because you have everything on your car that I would want on mine, down to the color. All I really wanted was the 401A premium package and the nitepony package to black everything out. The only thing I'm torn on is possibly going with the shadow black instead of vapor blue just to have it all blacked out with red brake calipers. Your car is beautiful man! Congratulations on the 10k milestone.
I still own my 2017 Mustang GT premium PP and at the price point to purchase a '24 Mustang GT equipped the same as my '17, would be in 60K+ range. So as of now I'm going to keep my Grabber Blue baby. I live in NY, my daily driver and winter car is a 2011 Mazdaspeed 3. My MS3 is great in the snow, I never drive the Mustang in the snow because of the heavy salt NY DOT utilizes during snow storms. Your car is beautiful but I'd want the performance pack which is expensive. So enjoy it but park it during snow.
Used I'd buy one for 35k, maybe next year, or I might spend 39k for a Mach1. I bought a 2019 GT premium for 35k at 1 year used with every option I wanted, including the higher cost color and digital instrument cluster. I still have it, so no need to spend 50k+ for nearly the same performance I have.
I delivered pizza in a 2002 Mustang GT with worn all seasons with nothing in the trunk in Minnesota. Only 1 day where I had to switch cars since we had over a foot of snow in like 2 hours. It's more fun with rwd!
275 on this kind of power ? my goodness... I never run anything less than 305 on my challenger and even 315s are not enough since you have a pretty good amount of torque there. Be safe bro!
Dang, 9.5 mpg is crazy, driving like you stole it. My 10-speed 2024 GT gets 23mpg, mostly highway miles, but there are many days I wish I got the manual, The 6-speed is so much more fun and engaging!
I have never driven an auto mustang. Understood they are much quicker than the stick in the 1/4 mi. Had a 15gt with the close ratio manual. Loved it! My 19 bullitt has the 6spd manual, but it has loooooong gears. Think Ford screwed this up. On twisty roads it works ok. 2 and 3rd gear are used the most.
9.5 mpg feels impossible... even in city driving, the worst I got was 15mpg with some aggressive acceleration. Moving out of the city, I get nearly 24 mpg.
I have a 2020 GT Premium PP2. I can get 26 on the highway but i have to be very very careful. I usually get anywhere from 15 to 19 on average. I also have an H pipe and lowering springs.
With the seats had the same issue with other ford vehicles I rented an F150 and same issue it got pretty brutal after about 3hrs for both me and gf. I also got a chance to drive a bronco and while better its not as good as my daily driver my 2020 subaru forester which I've done 14hr drives in non-stop with 0 issues.

After all the delays, went with a 2020 GT Premium PP1 with active suspension. Loving it. The one question I have for you is, when driving in the snow, did you have it in snow/wet mode? I'm in Texas and only drove in the rain so far, but it seems fine in snow/wet mode. How fast was the traction control handling slip, etc? Amother car, a 528i, seemed great in the snow and ice but haven't been able to compare it to Mustang yet.
I have 2024 premium performance package, I will say for paying for the upgrades, I agree .. rim size sucks. He mentioned panel alignment, not trusting the hood connection ,there is some movement, not overall happy with having always needing adjust climate control of steering wheel, seats etc.. now I'm OG so just use to when I make adjustments, it should be same when getting in at later time, if you like making adjustments or prefer car do it ,then disregard that comment. Overall except price the car is awesome, rides smooth, no noise in cab, sounds great as ALL GT's do... you can run 87 octane ( i don't 93) if your on a budget, get a base and build ..
i drove one just like that one, non performance pack gt with a stick shift. and honestly i wasn't all that impressed. the stick shift was the only part i enjoyed which surprised me. shifting into a lower gear the wheels started locking up, the rear end isnt planted nearly enough, you could have some fun on the 1-2 shift but you could feel the weight shifting to the back and to each wheel. the charger scat pack i had felt way more planted and faster and that thing is like 6 years old. just didnt feel better enough to justify the change. im sure its a fantastic car, but owning a scat made it feel like a downgrade. also the price after you equip with all the stuff you would want like the performance pack and maybe goin for the dark horse made it so expensive, and for that money i started looking at c8s and im pretty happy with my decision. even though i started out wanting a stang. one day lol
I recently picked up a 24 gt A10. Really wanted a manual because I was coming from a 21 sti, but I looked all over and could not find a manual within 2-300 miles. Needed a car asap, so I figured hey an auto gt is better than no gt. Couldn’t find any auto that came with the performance package, but I did find an auto I could live with for a few years that I got for 3 k under msrp. I like the car but it’s def boring compared to a manual. So in another 3 years I’ll be placing an order for a manual the way I want it, and once they get it in I’ll just give the a10 to the wife.
Update- i didnt make it 3 years lol, picked up a 25 dark horse 6speed. I personally like it way more than the 24 auto, the wife doesnt. From a dig the a10 is faster however from a roll they are pretty neck and neck.
For fuel economy get a Hybrid Camry. 40-45 MPG AND USE REGULAR. I use regular gas. I love the V8 Mustangs especially with a manual. Bottom line it’s simply a choice and you can’t have both feel of power loud exhaust of Mustang and great gas mileage. When you grow tired of the noise get a Camry for,a comfortable smooth cheaper ride. Camry costs $35k and GT Mustang about $50-$55k. $20k more new and needs more gas for more money.$$$$
Looks so much like a camaro from the side it’s beautiful lol!! I just couldn’t pay $50,000 when a C8 isn’t that much more. I believe thats one of the things that killed the Camaro vet wasn’t that much more money why not buy the vet right.
So glad I didn’t go with manual that gas mileage is horrible I got 30mpg on a road trip two days ago and daily getting about 22mpg and I drive aggressively
It feels just like the previous generation. It struggles on the track, unlike my Camaro, which performs much better. You can really feel how well it’s planted. Far more Superior chassis. That said, I lack the confidence to take my Mustang on the track. It’s unpredictable in turns, and I worry I might crash in the corners. I might consider trading it for an A90 Supra.m for sure. Honestly, I’d prefer to drive the Mustang for cruising or straight-line racing-that’s about it.
Camaro was the most fantastic car ever built in the world....to bad not enough were sold every year so ....GM dropped them and made the Volt !!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
$50,000 for a ford rear wheel drive with poor body panel gaps , recalls , no thanks ! That car is worth 35k for me , great channel though ! Remember (if you are old enough) 1976-1985 malaise era ? We are in it again .
Kind of cool. I do car and watch meet ups. Drives on twisty roads. The vette , and other drivers have commented how good the exhaust sounds. Factory active with a h pipe.
Nice mustang. They sure have become expensive 😮. The sticker on my 19 bullitt was about 51k with magnaride and electronic package. Payed 48 for it at a rural ford dealer. The local dealer was asking 10k over sticker. The active exhaust with the h pipe is perfect on your car. Normally i drive mine in sport. Like the sound better than track. Usually use the track mode only on twisty roads. Full suspension stiffness. Also have ford racing m 9602 m suspension on the car. Amazing suspension upgrade. Running the oem summer only on forgestar cf5 wheels. Great fit. Had these on my 15gt also Buy another mustang? Like the dark horse, but i dont track. No point.
I have a 2014 Mustang and the only reason I haven't gotten this or the Darkhorse has been that instrument panel. Two LCD screens that aren't even embedded in the dash is the most insulting thing they could have done honestly. It looks so damn cheap and underwhelming for the price tag. An absolute travesty what they've done honestly.
Good video your car looks great in Vapor Blue. Where did you buy your H-pipe? Did you purchase it from Steeda? They show a video where they tested their H-pipe and they picked up 10 RWH on it. Plus the nice deeper growl!!! I would recommend that you get PPF on the front half of the car. You will never get another rock chip!!! It will pay itself off in retained value for when you sell it or trade it in. I have been putting PPF on all my vehicles since 2000. Cheers‼️👍👊💪🇺🇸🐎
I just came across your video and thought you did a good job describing your experience with the car. I am interested in the 60th anniversary model. The MSRP is about $65,000. Any thoughts and comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
I'm glad you liked the video! I absolutely love this car. I would say best bang for your buck would be picking up a used 2024 with low miles. They deprecated pretty quick the first year. But I know those 60th editions are rare, so if you have the capacity, send it 😉
@ I still love driving my 2007. The $92,000 I’ve saved in car payments has been put into my IRA and annuity to grow. Any normal person can put $20k down and make payments for 4/5 years, let’s not act like you have something otherworldly here. The color sucks, and it isn’t my problem.
@@PresentingTheCinema I’m 35 my friend. Absolutely ASTOUNDING how incorrect your guessing about strangers can be on the internet. To answer your question: It’s relatively bland and less popping compared to a shade of red, blue. How else does one describe how they perceive a color? It looks like the primer coat one would apply before the final paint. It’s preference. I have a preference just like you and everyone else on this planet.
Wait a second, how did you roast those blizzak tires so quick? I live in chicago and it is my understanding that you can get 3 - 4 winter seasons of use out of those!
I subbed. Great review. Exactly the package I'm looking to get in the 2025 mustang gt. How much did u have to put up.front to special order? Did u feel by special ordering it made it different when came down to negotiations?
I had to put down a $1,000 deposit. I luckily had someone who knew the manager of that Ford so I got $2,000 off MSRP. Typically for custom orders I think it's hard to get any discount, but if you find one on the lot I'm sure you can get more than $2,000 off
i have a 24 base gt that i got for just under 38k vapor blue and with the nite pony. upgraded from a 21 wrx sti and let me tell you other then regretting getting the automatic the car has been amazing in every single sense including the gas mileage which is absolutely crazy, no issue with anything yet at 16k miles and it runs like a beast doing 60 miles a day getting 28mpg on 295 wides.
Buying any mustang 2005 onward is a mistake. Once the 3 valve replaced the 2 valve they just haven’t been reliable. I run a auto repair shop and see them all day long especially 5.0 coyotes
3.5 hours brutal??? What kind of wimp are you? LOL. Actually looking forward to see how you do with the hood touchup. I have a hood chip as well. Found OEM Ford paint on Amazon.
Ford recommended 91+ octane in the 3.5 engines also. They have to tune them to run on 87 by law but in owner manual the recommend 91 the knick snesors are pulling timing like and has engike knock running 87.

i drove one just like that one, non performance pack gt with a stick shift. and honestly i wasn't all that impressed. the stick shift was the only part i enjoyed which surprised me. shifting into a lower gear the wheels started locking up, the rear end isnt planted nearly enough, you could have some fun on the 1-2 shift but you could feel the weight shifting to the back and to each wheel. the charger scat pack i had felt way more planted and faster and that thing is like 6 years old. just didnt feel better enough to justify the change. im sure its a fantastic car, but owning a scat made it feel like a downgrade. also the price after you equip with all the stuff you would want like the performance pack and maybe goin for the dark horse made it so expensive, and for that money i started looking at c8s and im pretty happy with my decision. even though i started out wanting a stang. one day lol
My first Mustang and I love it
I recently picked up a 24 gt A10.
Where is the 2024 Camaro ?
Camaro was the most fantastic car ever built in the world....to bad not enough were sold every year so ....GM dropped them and made the Volt !!!!😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
$50,000 for a ford rear wheel drive with poor body panel gaps , recalls , no thanks ! That car is worth 35k for me , great channel though ! Remember (if you are old enough) 1976-1985 malaise era ? We are in it again .
Is it broke down and that’s why you have the hazard lights on?
Could have gotten a 2024 810HP mustang for the same price with a 6 speed
The hazards lights on are extremely distracting
Kind of cool. I do car and watch meet ups. Drives on twisty roads. The vette , and other drivers have commented how good the exhaust sounds. Factory active with a h pipe.
Ah yes, the rich lifestyle...
@@Tone_Of_Dials haha! Dont asume things about people. I am the working mustang guy.
Great fit. Had these on my 15gt also
Buy another mustang? Like the dark horse, but i dont track. No point.
Quick question. Where was this car made at on the sticker near the door?
I have a 2014 Mustang and the only reason I haven't gotten this or the Darkhorse has been that instrument panel. Two LCD screens that aren't even embedded in the dash is the most insulting thing they could have done honestly. It looks so damn cheap and underwhelming for the price tag.
An absolute travesty what they've done honestly.
And those “buttons” below the panel are cheap as hell too. Miss the toggles.
Great car and it sounds soooo good!
But I know those 60th editions are rare, so if you have the capacity, send it 😉
My ram rebel 400 mile trip no back issues
8.5 mpg?!?! I have the same spec except black out package and I am getting around 17mpg
How is my 2020 GT500 getting better mpg???
I saw somewhere the Whipple gets this thing around 800 hp with a full warranty
Yes, the place most known for this is called Lebanon Ford in Ohio
U could of getten a performance pack for cheaper if u went for the 301A package I got mine for 54k
Never understood the point of back seats like those. Just get rid of that part, no point for car companies to keep making cara like that
Put that engine and 6 speed trans bought new from Ford into a 2013 - 2014 GT and you have the Ultimate " Mustang 🐎
I’m 6ft and I’m able to drive with 3 other adult. You can always raise and push steering wheel. 👍🏽👍🏽
Imagine spending 50k of your discretionary income and picking THAT color?!
What color is your 2024 Mustang GT?
@ I still love driving my 2007. The $92,000 I’ve saved in car payments has been put into my IRA and annuity to grow. Any normal person can put $20k down and make payments for 4/5 years, let’s not act like you have something otherworldly here. The color sucks, and it isn’t my problem.
@@HistoricalWonder720 We get it grandpa, but what's wrong with the color?
@@PresentingTheCinema I’m 35 my friend. Absolutely ASTOUNDING how incorrect your guessing about strangers can be on the internet. To answer your question: It’s relatively bland and less popping compared to a shade of red, blue. How else does one describe how they perceive a color? It looks like the primer coat one would apply before the final paint. It’s preference. I have a preference just like you and everyone else on this planet.
@@HistoricalWonder720 imagine being jealous. if you can't afford it then just say that.
Have the values of user S550s been artificially inflated as of late due to the price of S650s?
So after 11 back surgeries you think i should take a hard pass the Mustang?
Nice car/vid. u custom ordered it directly from ford ?
I ordered it from my local Ford dealership!
I still have my silver 2002 GT I bought new. I love that car. My next mustang will not have the 2 iPads for a dash. Hopefully this trend will end.
I'm getting the 09 s197 soon, it actually looks like a mustang lol
I love that hood scoop ...looks just like My bathroom exhaust fan cover !
Wait a second, how did you roast those blizzak tires so quick? I live in chicago and it is my understanding that you can get 3 - 4 winter seasons of use out of those!
Looks like they were over inflated because the middle was way more worn than the sides.
Typically for custom orders I think it's hard to get any discount, but if you find one on the lot I'm sure you can get more than $2,000 off
@@bbsaproductions awesome thank u
Driver seat ripple looks like crap. What the heck? There are 30 year old seats that look better
Unlike TFL, you bought a real Mustang (manual transmission). So your opinions have more weight in my eyes.
Haha thank you!
His fiance didn’t make the cut for his top 3 favorite list 😂 respect… 🫡
i know in the city i get low mileage, and of course long distance, higher gas mileage
Have you done the Mustang Unleashed event?
I have not, but would love to! It looks like a blast
Body panel haven't lineup on a mustang ever. I have owned a bunch of them to.
“too” 😁
i have a 24 base gt that i got for just under 38k vapor blue and with the nite pony. upgraded from a 21 wrx sti and let me tell you other then regretting getting the automatic the car has been amazing in every single sense including the gas mileage which is absolutely crazy, no issue with anything yet at 16k miles and it runs like a beast doing 60 miles a day getting 28mpg on 295 wides.
Factory tune is the worst though. 140 in 4th gear should be able to go 180 but Ford limits us way too much.
Where and how do you custom order your mustang? I want to buy one but none in my area are anything I want
I custom ordered at the dealership.. if they say they can't you're at a bad dealership
@ how much extra money was it to custom order one?
Pro tip never get the first yeàr model
Dont use a Mustang for winter driving.
Great looking car but I love the TEN speed better and faster 😊
buying a mustang for $50k is already a mistake
Buying any mustang 2005 onward is a mistake. Once the 3 valve replaced the 2 valve they just haven’t been reliable. I run a auto repair shop and see them all day long especially 5.0 coyotes
@@ethenvallance-dx4uuI have a 17 ecoboost with 165k miles,not ONE problem,best car I have ever owned.

3.5 hours brutal??? What kind of wimp are you? LOL. Actually looking forward to see how you do with the hood touchup. I have a hood chip as well. Found OEM Ford paint on Amazon.
How do you like those pizzas on the dash.
9.5? My gosh dude thats freaking garbage. My ctsv was 16.0. Do you drive short only?
14:05 ummm... XD
I get 18 mpg 😊
Sorry bro not true at all Audi A8 4 plus hours no problems with the seats
If you want fuel efficiency you should have bought a Honda or Toyota
300 on a full tank
solid mate, 9mpg LOL!
Ford recommended 91+ octane in the 3.5 engines also. They have to tune them to run on 87 by law but in owner manual the recommend 91 the knick snesors are pulling timing like and has engike knock running 87.
