I checked out the car for a week and the screen was a problem for me. It looks gorgeous, but Imagine driving around with an OLED TV. I had a difficult time seeing the screen in broad daylight. Some of the menus weren’t as intuitive as I’d like. I also had a problem with operating the climate controls while driving. Just a clarification, you can get an NA V8 in the 2024 Lexus IS500. No manual option and an old school 8 speed automatic, and I know you're probably not cross-shopping these two, but old school V8 nonetheless!
Many, but you should go with the one that fits your personal needs the best. If you need a more practical car that will hold its value, and want to be comfortable i would totally go with the IS500. The low production numbers will make this car hold its value for years to come. If you are looking for a platform to build you can put less money into the mustang and get a lot more power out of it. The exterior design, with its stricter lines, is sharp and a step forward from its predecessor. The bland cockpit design, on the other hand, has exceeded the peak it reached in the S550 with its perfect synthesis of traditional style and digital technique, and has clearly lost some of its charm; no matter how much effort you put in, that simply cannot be glossed over.
