in australia the mustang GT PP is $90k AUD. the M2 Comp is $140k.
if they were in the same money, i would get the S55 M2 comp every single farken day of the week. But for $50k in my pocket. GT is coming! lol
i had a 2020 ecoboost, and then i had a 2024 gt. that being said the gt is alot more powerful, but the ecoboost was better in a lot of ways, gas milage, the whole package felt lighter and more maneuverable. i love my mustang man.
The 6 extra horsepower comes from the active exhaust upgrade, not the performance package.

The whole front bumper cover is different on the GT as well.
Recaros are neither heated, cooled or powered in the Mustang.

Before the Sept 2022 reveal Ford announced that the S650 generation Recaro seats would have seat heating & ventilation. However near the completion of official testing the engineers pointed out the increased weight of the car so they decided to go back to the previous Recaro seats saving 36 pounds in weight!!! That’s why the engineers threw out the newer Recaro seats that were also powered.
..... it's designed to be a RACING seat!
And, some are heated but not ventilated or powered.🤓

The shift knob is like the 2005 * that “ silver plate” on top the stick . Pops off after 5. Years 😅 .

Dude these things are nice . Gas mileage is alright if you respect the throttle . The only thing I’d say is that in the corners it does feel a bit numb and unresponsive. Just feels like your floating around

2024 Ford Mustang GT is a Great Review, Good Show. I Want a Auto Premium in Black.
I like the big screen but miss the radio and climate knobs. Less time to look away while you're driving with knobs.
The screen looks better separated for sure
Just a clarification, you can get an NA V8 in the 2024 Lexus IS500. No manual option and an old school 8 speed automatic, and I know you're probably not cross-shopping these two, but old school V8 nonetheless!
Now nobody can't on Ford.

One thing that I hate new mustang
Slow response display system
and numb steering, and ipods for screens, and still has the trash MT82 stick that will lock you out of gear if shifted hard and still hard as a rock interior plastics....need I go on?

The exterior design, with its stricter lines, is sharp and a step forward from its predecessor. The bland cockpit design, on the other hand, has exceeded the peak it reached in the S550 with its perfect synthesis of traditional style and digital technique, and has clearly lost some of its charm; no matter how much effort you put in, that simply cannot be glossed over.

Too much money for what you’re getting IMO. For same money check out the BMW 2 series and M2.
@@dwnshftthe lackluster dashboard design. They could’ve kept the double bubble and integrated the screen features within, not just slap a tablet on and force everything else around it…
@rembo183 You can't get an M240i in a manual so it's not even in the conversation. In Canada, you can get a base GT with the performance pack for less than 60k whereas an M2 starts in the high 70's.

trash can MT82 was the reason I sold my '21, it was the worst stick car I ever owned, total trash.
That problem was solved a couple years ago. Just get a shift kit.
@@michaelfried3123I got a MGW short shifter and upgraded the transmission and differential fluid on mine. It fixed the issues. In my opinion it felt similar to the Tremec in the 2014 GT500. (Obviously can’t take the same beating tho)
Not needed , it’s about performance , why does these people want luxury features in a performance car , so misguided , want luxury get a Lexus , now he is talking about the suck horse , just more money for the same car plus a tune and better brake rotors , ford up selling sorry

I think there’s too much to know or know on the digital screen. 99% of buyers don’t care about all these technical adjustments! Just need to know how to drive it and adjust AC, exhaust, suspension, radio, seats that’s it. This is a car not an airplane! It’s ridiculous. Driving needs to be intuitive and easy not super detailed technical. I just want to start it up and go. Maybe AC and radio! Maybe seats?
