I want to pick it up, but I have to get all the sisters first.
Fun little detail about that text on the right shoulder: the fleur-de-lis is obscuring some of the words, but I was familiar enough with the opening stanzas of the Fede Imperialis - aka the battle-prayer of the Sororitas - that the words in English jumped out at me, and having noticed those I was then able to work out what the covered bits were saying to realize it is in fact the opening stanzas of the Fede Imperialis:
A Spiratu Dominatus,
Domine, libra nos,
From the lightning and the tempest,
Our Emperor, deliver us.
One point of articulation you didn't mention is that the hip joints for the legs - as with Guilliman and the previous Paragon Warsuits - are on a barbell between the leg and the socket (rather than there being a single t-joint running through the hips, like the one your injured White Scar had), so you can actually pull the legs down past the top of the socket for more range of motion (also heads up for the Lion, his legs are like that too and have been arriving with the legs fully pulled down, which makes him seem like he's much taller than Guilliman (and his cloak partially obscures, so they don't realize that's why he seems heads taller than Guilliman)).

Awesome- I was looking forward to seeing you review her being a Sisters fan. The detail is insane! Hoping they keep up the quality with Rogal Dorn and his boys.
There is very good detail on this Warlord indeed. If you have ever bought a Primarch from JT, while they still have minor issues, they are definitely really high quality compared to the grunt units. That being said, I am sure that the Imperial Fist Primarch is going to be just fine

Hmmmm about the HH action figures...I am not too sure if I am going to dive head long into them. I am 100% going to buy all the Primarchs but on the fence for the "regular units"
very glorious! especially I like how they fixed how legs are connected to suit and now it looks make sense. only down side is her head is pretty large...... very large haha
The head is way out of proportion but that is what GW does with their miniatures too. I suppose the nice thing is that you can outfit her with the helmet version instead.
So, now that I happily have it my possession (thank you for this review, it's the reason why I bought it in the first place) I sincerely don't understand all the fuzz about the head. The head of my copy is of the same size of the head of the retributors, meaning it's a normally-sized head. I personally will not put it this time unlike I did with the retributors simply because the sabbat head fits better with the golden knight aestetic of this figure IMHO, but still the head is perfectly OK. My question now is: are you going to do a review of the new Penitent Engine too? I'm interested in the version with the frails for a possible future purchase, hoping they don't outsell already during these weeks seeing all the other adepta sororitas stuff from JoyToy is selling like cakes despite the high price.
I love how they make Morvenn's Face look cute compared to the official art. Meanwhile GW here making Minka Lesk's face look good on art while making her look like a Daemonette in human skin when they released her official model.

The production figure is always going to be slightly different than the prototype or the marketing figure. The mass produced production figure always vary from the marketing one...sometimes for better...sometimes for worse, but I find this to be the case with JT action figures mostly
...Oh...the lance head tube is supposed to be permanently attached to the arm?! Heh, mine must have come unglued during shipping, but now I'm seeing that tube *needs* to be glued in there because it has trouble staying inserted in the arm otherwise! (I wish the tube was a bit longer though, it limits the reach of the lance too much.)
Even with that issue (and the oversized unhelmeted head), this figure is still amazing, and it's definitely one of my favorite figures in my collection thus far!
Ah got to love the QC issues with JT sometimes. I would've preferred the wire to be detached but I suppose that I can do it myself.
This is my favorite sisters mdel. it just has SO much detail and i'm looking forward to Morvenn's book coming out this year. hopefully they explain why she has a custodes spear.
Very interesting because people seem to gravitate towards Celestine but I do definitely see why Morvenn is so universally liked as well

Well, as evidenced by the video, I did pick this figure up as I am an Adepta Sororitas fan too. "She" was sent to me a bit too late for me to consider her for the figure of the year...but there is always 2024
Hi! Nice review as always! My figure arrived last Tuesday and It's awesome. But I'm worry about the plastic smell, each new figure smell to much to plastic and I don't know why or if it is dangerous :/
That smell...is the paint! Supposed to be the same Citadel paint they use for miniatures. The desiccant pack is supposed to minimize the smell, but it's still pretty strong sometimes. (If the smell is really bad, I put the figure somewhere with good ventilation for a few days so it can "air out".)
@@tyleranderson5183 hi, yes, I did. I put the fig away from my shelf for a few hours. I never smelled any similar "bad smell" when I used the citadel paint (macragge blue, for example). Thanks for the suggestion 😎
Ah...that is the smell of a newly minted Imperium unit. It smells so DELICIOUS! That being said, all JT figures have that smell. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
FYI for anyone thinking about getting one of these, the unmasked head was made too large, likely not down scaled from the prototype. Just be aware of if, it put me off getting one of these until Joytoy fix it, hopefully with a second run.
jea cind of, the complete warsuit is scaled up its way bigger than the other joytoy warsuits so the scaled the head with it.
@@der_ruge Which doesn't make sense, it's meant to be 1:18 scale, which means her head should be the same size as the rest of the Battle Sisters since it's like a mech suit she is piloting.
While the big head is a strong detraction for the suit, please keep in mind (not defending GW here) that GW miniatures have always had slightly disproportionately larger heads. That being said, they have gone a bit overboard on this one

About those complaining for the head, my guess is that encased as it is it would simply disappear amongst the gold armour, it would hardly be noticeable if they didn't do it bigger. Anyway, THIS is going to my next Adepta Sororitas/JoyToy purchase, no questions attached. I couldn't care less of the head, I just really like this Golden Paragon Warsuit.
