Solid video, at this point I definitely can't consider myself a beginner due to the time I've had with the game and the skill I've gained over said times (I actually spent the most time with the game originally back when it was still on PC game pass. Between my no longer using the service, and the game having been removed the game pass I stopped playing and moved on to trying some other roguelikes for a while thanks to OSFE showing me that the genre actually can be fun. At some point due to how much I enjoyed it when I originally played on game pass, I knew I had to grab a steam copy which I eventually did some time last year. Just got back into the game and unlocking everything in the steam version and I'm loving it arguably even more than when I played my first go around with the game. Kinda derailed myself there ha, but just wanted to say it's always solid to hear other thoughts on what is important to do to improve your survivability chances and get further in your runs. I think even veteran players can benefit, in part just to it being a solid run through of issues they may have overlooked or just don't think about enough anymore due to their time with the game. Anyways, haven't checked if you have any more OSFE content but glad you decided to give making a general strategy video a go.
I was staring at the bottom left spells too, I used a piece of paper to retrain myself. And if you are having an issue with diagonal spells, you can put some plastic wrap around your monitor and draw a checkerboard pattern on it, (just black wasn't enough for me so now it's red and green) [Reva is my main and kept accidentally killing the hostages, but it's really nice for enemy attacks]

Tip 11: Use gunner and spam cards and attack and lmao
Is Fragile just for the next hit, or does it have a duration?
1 Fragile per 1 Hit, some abilities apply 3 Fragile though so that would be 3 Hits of the Fragile effect.
