Hoo boy, this is one of the hardest games I've played in a long time. Can't imagine trying to do commentary over it. Best of luck! If you get a few jam-related relics, building your deck around that can be really strong - that's how I got my only win so far.
Egg be playing Eden. I'm POGGED out of my mind, dude! Quick tip: You can go to your deck and select 2 types of cards you want to see more often. Just started playing this yesterday, game's great! Hard to follow at first but once you get it it's got a nice flow. The reason some things cost HP in the shop is because you went the red route on the map.

Wish they made more of those games the system was awsome cause it rewarded you for playing well. The cybeast clones kinda got repetitive but it was still pretty fun.
NL, set your focus in the deck menu if you want to get cards of a specific archetype! You basically want to pick out an archetype as soon as you get your first card and look at your deck as-is. I picked this game up at your recommendation, I’m loving it!
NL, you can set your focus, which makes it so your card rewards are weighted by manufacturer to go for different builds. Do this by going to your deck and selecting the question marks at the top of your deck.
I'm 2 wins in so far, and I've been pretty consistent at getting past the first 6 worlds. The best advice I have is to focus on learning patterns for now, and keep your deck super thin. My two wins were both with 2 card decks. Anyway, I'm super pumped for this series!

I've been waiting for this game for quite a while, and so far it's exceeded my expectations! Haven't gotten too far yet, but I'm loving all the synergies you can get going, with Flow, Trinity, Poison, self-fragile, Shiv, Jam decks ... Oh it's so much fun! I haven't even beaten it once yet but there's so much cool stuff to mix and match!

NL, a tip from my experience which may or may not be 100% accurate, any thing that has a number counter on it, like 4 spell power or 1 fragile or 2 flow, etc, makes it so that effect is available for that many spell casts. So 4 spell power is higher spell damage for 4 of your spells, 2 flow gives you flow for flow effects for 2 spells, etc. The only exception that I've seen is poison, which has a timer circle on it.
spellpower is a direct upgrade to the damage of a spell like attack damage in this game, so 4 spell power means you would do 44 dmg with a spell rather than 40

I am so engrossed into this game, I have been playing it non stop. I'm aware the developers are planning to lower the difficulty some because how hard the game can get in certain settings. I hope this becomes a long lasting series (at least for awhile!).

Skips. 8:45 The right option applies 2 Frost. Yes, it does heal the target for 40, but earlier in this same video he was praising a card that healed a target for 100 and applied 80 Poison. Skips. 10:15 The left option gives 1 Flow. Picks another card.
I tried this out and I don't think I've ever been as mind-flooded before when starting a videogame, so this gameplay is pretty damn impressive. I nearly gave up, but after a while you kinda get it and start actually enjoying it, despite still barely getting past the first stage. I still resent how it asks you to parse the screen so quickly when you have to defend NPCs. I would appreciate the game ramping up the speed, instead of starting at mach 3 from the get-go...
I bought it on switch when it came out because of your let's try! I made it to the final boss today but died 300 hp away from beating them. One step from Eden indeed.
For future reference, frost procs for 100 damage. Cold Medicine heals for 40 hp, but applies two stacks of the three needed for 100 damage. So, Cold Medicine is actually good assuming you can reliably chain freeze to proc it before they lose the stacks.
A strategy I've found that works kind of absurdly well is to get Rock Cycle and some Flow activators. Get as much Max Mana and Mana Regen as you can, and the relics that give you .1 Mana when you cast a spell, and .5 when you activate a Flow Cast. Rock Cycles Flow cast adds it to your deck right after using, and gives Flow itself. If it's the last card it can fire as fast as you press it and have the Mana. Those two relics give you .6 Mana every time you cast Rock Cycle. It's crazy damage and was how I beat the final boss
Love this video. Flow can be overpowered if you use the spell that’s a returning rock. Upgrade it to have Sheild, and half mana cost. Spam it like crazy and you just win. Got my first two wins with it.
NL, my dude, a small tip: if you click the boxes above your spell-list, you can set your focus, which will make those cards appear a lot more often. make sure you do that.
I’ve played probably about ten hours of this so far, and even though I’m just absolutely terrible at it I’m having a real good time. I made it to the sixth floor a few times and have enjoyed getting my juices flowing thinking about good deck construction.
Egg, try opening your deck, and setting your Focus to Hearth/Anima/Kinesis, to increase your chance of finding those card types; Hearth and Kinesis cards generate flow, and Hearth and Anima cards can apply Frost--also, try upgrading Rock Cycle, it can be spammed multiple times without shuffling if you have flow, and one of its upgrades is 25% chance to apply frost, while another is to apply fragile.
