I didn't do anything like this. I completely went the opposite direction for my first win, and I went pacifist route. The way I got my first win was gun only Shiso. I didn't take any spells, but it was my first win.

Beat the game for the first time last week with Selicy using frost and poison, it’s cool that you covered this game. Content and guides for this game is scarce.
Yeah I think it might be one of my most covered games over the years. Was a lot of fun but after 100+ episodes and no dlc I kind of ran out of steam haha

I went from barely clearing the 3rd level to getting to (and dying) on the final boss after watching this video on my first attempt. Thank you so much!
Just beat the game for the first time today with Saffron Default pacifist route. Kept to spell cards that give you frost, trinity and shield. Was able to stay alive a bit while burning down the bosses quickly by end game.

Just picked up this game, and I did the cheese combo for the Shopkeeper and it was *chef's kiss* magnificent!
double cast and fragile are amazing on your minnie gun... double cast allows it to trigger trinity all the time once it triggers for the first time (assuming it is the only trinity spell in ur deck)... and fragile pretty much give ur minnie a 50% dmg buff (100% with magnifying glass)... theres also an artifact that immobilizes bosses after trinity triggers... if u really want an easy win go for a small deck with [ minne - focus - "40 shield card" - "frezze time card" ], tons of spell power + mana regen, upgrade minnie first and only accept double cast or fragile.
100% agree. I did try to emphasis the power of minigun as it can be used in a ton of builds although I think not to great on hazel if you try to use the turret also.

Aye, Reva was the char I won first with too! I went full phalanx and neutral route. But I’ll probably try poison and defense next with her!

Finally won my first run! I got the Artifact that gives me 1 Spell Power every hostage I save, and it was so broken. Just freezing time and melting everyone with blue bullets.

@@purplatypus7405 Thanks! Yeah I ended up getting about 20+ spell power from it, had multicast of both blue bullets and minnie gun paired with the wrist watch. It was insane.

AYYYYO i just beat the game for the first time as Chrono Saffron. The gate boss was SUPER trivial with the glaive spell. Unlocked so many characters in one run as well. feels good to win on my ~10th run :)

@@purplatypus7405 i would like a video wich ranks the characters while going in detail with its starting spells then theres another video going through how to unlock characters and their skills there could be a video about ranking spells that would be interesting and you could do a different video for each character going through the ways of using his decks AND there could be a video about going through some good builds like flow decks or earth decks ..... hope i was usefull and luv ur vids

@@sakuta3677 Great ideas! I took this comment and added it to my video idea section to help me when deciding what to do in the future.
I 100% plan on ranking each characters from best to worst and saying why first I have to actually unlock all the loadouts and the shopkeeper though haha.
A spell ranking is something I could do a bit more easy as I can do the regions instead of specific spells. Maybe make it a tier list for fun idk
A How to unlock characters loadouts video might not be ideal since its the same for everyone just beat the game with the neutral ending however I do like the idea of a How to play X video for each character where I say how to build each character.

Just got my 3rd and 4th wins with Snow Selicy by using a deck with a lot of flow spells and some frost stuff and shields. Also I took Max HP Pacts when I could.

You are correct! I dont remember when I actually figured that out but weird they dont give it to you at the camp haha
@@purplatypus7405 Yeah, the game kinda really suffers from bad conveyance, great video, btw, are we gonna get a video on Serif/endgame bosses? I've fought her twice and got annihilated in the first 2 seconds both times, even with ~2000 hp XD
@@CrypticFelicity There should be a few runs Vs Serif. I think if you look for the thumbnail with her on it for full genocide then you can see that fight.
I tend to just go wall most of my runs as I find it the most fun path myself but I have beaten serif a few times on my vids no doubt!

Just got my first win yesterday with saffron, build was default with 4 frost spells and kinetic wave (never got around to removing that spell). Did the true pacifist route, so my next step is trying this out

I got shopkeeper second day by spamming her with shiso’s gun with a load of money. Just to see how easy it was to kill with it and I was surprised lol 😆
if you can get insane Lynchpin damage then shopkeeper is a joke no doubt haha. Finding the sera cannon is the dream though
Purplatypus I wish I could get a sera cannon! I only ever find it with characters when I have low money.

How have ive beaten this game 4 times and not know how to unlock the alt characters

using default saffron and kill someone not reva and take out gunner asap (disables reva's revive with his kill shot)

not sure if I was experienced at the time of this recording but I did play the game almost daily for a year so id say I was one of the most experienced out there haha
i got three pets. breezed through the game. until the goddess wrecked me after my win.
make a video how to beat Violet please... this all tiles 9x9 AoE seems unavoidable and hits like a truck ... she's always the end of a run for me because she does that 3 times and i die
Violet is a super hard boss no joke! I am still learning how to avoid some attacks however when she does that attack that summons green squares make sure you land on each one as it gives you shields to prevent the damage from her big attack.
Also violet shows up as one of the two ice zone bosses so make sure to go there early if you want to avoid her later in the run

Are you supposed to be able to kill the angel at the end?
On a full Genocide run if you killed the shopkeeper, you get a spell that can kill her. On a Pacifist run if you win against Terrable and still have a Reva Save you will win.
Depends. There are three endings. If you fight the Wall boss and the angel comes out and kills you then no as the walk was the final boss for that ending. But you can kill her in the true genocide route
Also dont kill violette, she gives you spell power, which is good for minnie gun
it is pretty decent no doubt. Violette is a nice one to save

Well, I guess it doesn't matter now, seeing as how I gave up playing after 37 hours and having no way to learn/unlock anymore.
First win was with shopkeep.... I learned what double cast Sera Cannon does

Problem with this game they chosse to release it at the wrong time cuz games like Gershwin impact took most of the views I think
It had some early traction but not a ton of people created content early on and honestly a lot of people didn't have the patience to learn the game and felt it was to hard.
In sure there were games that took the views but this and genshin released 5 month apart from what I see
Got my first win with Shiso, going roots to setup his gun, poisons for free dmg and debuffs if it's not safe to use gun, never shop to enhance gun dmg, and at least 1 heal, 1 shield, and 1 max hp increase, so that I could ignore camps for the most part and go for treasure instead.
I absolutely love Shiso for how his dmg scales as the difficulty goes up.

Bruh shopkeeper not beginner friendly? Killer her as soon as possible in ur run I mean after playing the demo so many times it’s kinda hard to change the play style
