Rick covered the record ‘I’m Walking,’ by Fats Domino. Ozzie thought it sounded pretty good & they redid it in his studio & Ozzie created a story around Rick singing it at the end of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet show in 1957! Arlene stopped by to ask Rick why she hadn’t seen him in weeks (after he’d cut that first record which sold over a million copies which made him even more famous! 😁) He told her he was busy! 😂 Which he really was! 😉 Great story! Never heard that girl’s name before, just this great story told by Rick, himself!
