Finding out from the TV and the radio isn't a nice way to find out your father has died. Surely someone could have contacted Rick's family and told them what had happened.

I had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Gunnar and Matthew after their performance here in upstate NY. They are the most pleasant. Personable, down to earth gentlemen. Their performance was exceptional, and their tribute song to their dad was so beautiful it made me (and I am sure many others) cry. They are welcome here anytime. I would love to see them in concert again! Nice to see they are best friends. When I asked how their sister was doing after having health issues. I believe it was Matthew, said thank you and he would be sure to let Tracy know I had asked about her. Loved her in Father Dowling Mysteries!!!! So nice to see your video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Much respect to these two guys. Gentle, kind and up front. That's very rare in society today, especially in Hollywood. Pulling themselves up from the boot strings and continuing to be successful is an inspiration. Even to masculine, tough guys like myself. Salute.

"A good bad example" - excellent way to phrase it.. Recently watched story of Michael Landon..with Cheryl Ladd & John Scneider. Seems he was a serial cheater.. leaving his children in the wake when he "moved on" with his "new family" Sad

Nothing like the love of two awesome brothers! God knew what he was doing when he brought you guys into the world!! I'm not a twin, but with all the similar sicknesses I have and that my sister has along with many other similarities we share, we should have been twins! I can truly identify that bond that they have. My sister is my only sibling, and I couldn't imagine life without her!! Very nice video!

Loved the Nelson family.clean TV shows.sorry the real life was a hard road to travel.however the boys have a good head on their shoulder and sounds like God is in their life too.😊👍met Harriet a few times in Laguna Beach.where she lived also and she was a very nice lady. I gave her some clothespin dolls I made for the holidays..wish I could have met Ozzie and David and Ricky..but I never crossed paths even though we were probably in the same vicinity many times..Love Kris was a charming person as well..and I wish she had found that inner peace back when..hopefully she finally did. I was best friends and grew up with twin girlfriends. It was hard in 2008 one passed and the other has never been the same. It was horrible. They were my life everyone said we were
Like triplets but one had different cor of hair. Never take each other for granted. Do not let a day go by that u do not tell the other you love them. Your dad would be so proud of you as I am sure your mom was too. I was lucky because I got to meet you at the placer county fair in roseville ca. I hope you guys come back again. It is called the grounds now.

I don't think Ricky signs twins I don't think they favored him his daughter might have favored him a little bit nobody like we can Nelson he had to look at his own.
The boys really look like their mother you see a little bit of their father Ricky mainly it's the mother
I think Gunnar had a falling out with his mom years ago, thankfully they made peace.

I carry such a very high level of respect and admiration for booth, Matthew and Gunnar. They have mannaged to conduct a good and respectable life style with morals and stayed out of the tabloids. Their fame and fortune has not gone to their heads and they don't seem to place themselves above anyoe else. Definitely not the spoiled brats of celebrity parents born with silver spoons in their mouths. Two good and respectible men with good heads on their shoulders. Their bond for each other is like no other I have known of and soooo fantastic. I wish them both, and their families many, many more years of good fortune and do hope to see them perform live someday!!!
I became a huge fan of their father back in the very early 60s. I had found a 45 rpm record of Ricky Nelson at my grandpa's house and decided to play it on his record player while he mowed the grass. I got caught and scolded good for messing with his record player and was told "HANDS OFF" very, very firmly...
I liked the song and music of Ricky Nelson very well and gave it a second shot when grandpa went back outside to finish the grass. I got caught again, but this time I got a good "BUTT WHOOPIN" and grounded to the chair. I gave it a 3rd shot again, and finally got to hear the whole song with my butt still a little on the warm side. I got away with it that time and loved Ricky Nelson and his music ever since.🤔😜😂. I guess the 3rd time is really a charm and the "BUTT WHOOPIN" was well worth it ...LOL
