  • Custom Dyno tuning(before Full Race Manifolds Installed here) with full 3" exhaust with high flow Magnaflow muffler and aFe cold air intake.
Still to be added: more airflow to airbox, XDI Fuel Pump, Air to Water Intercooler, final tuning.
31.5" tires, 3.73:1 gear swap, Eaton TrueTrac installed.
Speedometer reads 12% lower than actual speed.
    Speedometer vs Actual Speed:
40 mph is really 45 mph
80 mph is really 90 mph

Imagine the camper van converted one. You gap people while having a apartment in the back.

The 10 speed is really a big help with the eb much more response compared to the 6 helps with that lag

I don't mind the 6 speed and even when it holds a taller gear, there is so much power that it can pull through it.
If you don't have the power then more ratios obviously can keep you in the sweet spot.
This setup isn't comparable to stock.
If the speedo did not read 12% low(bigger tires) you'd really get a taste for the speed and acceleration.
I'll get more footage when it is dialed in. Current tuning is prior to the Full Race Manifolds with leaking boost at the stock manifolds.

They are nice pieces. I'd look for upgraded ARP studs as well.

👌 I just ordered these manifolds along with the Garrett powermax stage 1 turbos for my 2016 3.5 f150 . Did you notice a difference in power with these manifolds ? Also, did it change the exhaust note at all?

Noise is slightly different. More of a deeper tone if I remember right. As for power, the way these vehicles work is the computer tells the engine what power to make regardless of modifications. Slight changes in power may be noticeable but until you get appropriate tuning it will not have major changes.
With the manifolds, Powermax, and the rest of my mods, my 3.5 Ecoboost van absolutely rips!

@chillislives Yeah, copy that . Can't wait to inatall mine and get the new tune for it. The next upgrade will be a water/methanol injection .

Any change to boost threshold and spool? Might have to go this route for towing.

I have custom tuning and I am getting up to 22 psi of boost.
It moves quite nicely(faster than what this video shows as of now)but making more power needs more intercooling, more exhaust flow, and more transmission cooling.
You can get an OBDIIMX+ or equivalent obd engine gauge setup to see what is going on with boost, engine/transmission temperatures and go from there.
Mine is getting the heavy modification treatment such as 3" downpipes and 4" exhaust plus SPD turbo adapters. By the low 2,000 rpm range I'm already exceeding boost pressures of the stock max pressure and it pulls very strong..
Fastest 1/4 mile time is 14.26 at 96mph and 0-60mph in 6.03 seconds.

    What are "full race manifolds"?

Tuning for alcohol injection next week. This is a much older video before the heavy mods began.
