I work part time for a small lawn mower dealer. They also rent a Bobcat skid loader and an excavator. I drive a tall van with eco boost. I'm amazed at how effortless it is when towing them.
I have a 2018 Transit 250 thats tuned to give me 80-90HP and about the same on torque. I also added a pedal commander which made a huge difference on its own...combined turns the Transit into a sleeper.
Freddy what kind of tune are you running at your transit ? I have 2019 3.5eb and can’t find to much of support. Let me know I’m weary interested. Thanks
@@fordtransitfamily9877 Yeah over here in the UK 🇬🇧 petrol is 8 dollars a gallon 🙄 and now we have bioethanol in our fuel ⛽ we get worse gas mileage , I wish I could afford a car that would do a 5 second 0to60 time but here it's just bot viable thanks to inflation
Not perfect. Trans was rebuilt at 39k due to a wiring issue that damaged it. Vacuum pump, valve cover, rear wheel bearing, driveshaft recalled, one ball joint, All covered under warranty. Spark plugs at 58k due to a misfire(normal interval is 60k). Dealer took care of us and got us a loaner for the big stuff.
My dad owns a 2016 Ford Transit-150 with the 3.7L V6 cyclone engine... we've gotten that thing to do 0-60 in 6.3s while mashing the gas pedal
I said out loud "That's pretty quick" It really is. Hell that's faster than some stupid rentals they've given me
I love my 2015 eco boost. Lots of power and torque. 👍

We just towed our camper down to Florida and back 11.5 mpg. Not to bad
The funny thing is the ecoboosts are detuned from factory in the transit vans.

Did it improve mpg?

@@colin55594 lol…NO!!!
@@kamilpietrzyk2290 I’m running a JMS Boostmax with boost controller
I really want one in Europe
Hi what kind of boost gauge is this ?
It’s just a standard boost gauge that reads the amount of boost your turbos are producing
It’s an ultragauge. I think it was $80.
Is that in MPH ? as if it is i am embarrassed as my petrol engine car takes 11 secs to do 60mph LOL but it is only a 1 litre engine lol
11 seconds is good for 1.0 liter. In the USA roads are long, wide and straight and gasoline is fairly cheap. People want lots of power.

Alright
Do you still have it and if so how many miles do you have on it
We sold it a few months ago with 110k. The new owners love it and have become friends.
@@clintmullins4406 very cool 👍
Lmao what the heck that thing is fast
Yeah for a big van thats crazy , it is as fast as a 1.5 litre turbo petrol car in the UK
