    Thanks for the video. I've got a CJ but I just needed an example of removing the transfer case and I think it should be pretty similar.

    On the magnet and filter. Is their any torque specs?

    Those are lock rings with the sharp points !

    Just to add to the video (which us great) replace the O ring on the speed sensor. I've had 2 tcase leaks caused by the O ring shrinking. :p

    one little itty bitty problem. you skipped the part when you took the house off when it was stuck, thats the same problem im having right now it wont come off. you hit it with a hammer and i tried the same bit it didnt work, how did you take it off?

      I used a rubber mallet and a pry bar and just keep working at it.

      MrSlickmonster6973 I would assume so but I’m not sure . I not a professional mechanic. Just a Jeep guy that does his own work

    Way to much RTV, these are machined surfaces and have a close tolerance. Very thin coat is all that is needed. Best way to put it all together if you have time is just snug the bolts down, and let it sit 24 hours and then torque all the bolts.

    You just go ahead pull the case out? It doesn’t need to be in 4h??
