Thanks for the vid. Mine had disintegrated almost completely so I had no point of reference for the new ones and it seemed like the new ones did not fit because the holes were about an inch off, did not realize you need to squish 'em in there like that.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video! They did require a little bit of playing with but it was worth it for the price over the OEM flaps.

To anyone considering this replacement, I bought a similar set of ebay wheel well liners off eBay and they dry rotted and cracked within 1.5 years. Fall 2022 I bought Rad Rubber liners for $60 which are certainly better in material quality and fitment. Interestingly, the Rad Rubber instructions stated to cover in Fluid Film on both sides prior to install. Seems like this would be a good suggestion even for the eBay variety liners to extend their lifespan

Thank you for the recommendations! Mine are still holding up but I will eventually upgrade to the Rad Rubber ones when these go out!

Nice work, man! I’ve replaced mine last year too! Got mine from Yotaliners, but these are a steal for $20 from eBay, wow! I think these are critical for those of us in Chicagoland to protect the engine compartment from salt and debris on the winter roads. I assume they will also keep the mud out when off-roading.
    Thanks for the video!

I definitely agree! I think they are a must to prevent corrosion and unnecessary buildup near the engine. For 20$ especially it’s a great part to change out. Thanks for supporting the channel!

Thanks, never knew mine were gone. Ebay for 18$. I'm not in the salt, but seems like a good idea to have these there seeing all the exposed parts.

Definitely a great cheap maintenance part to do to ensure peace of mind and help protect the engine!

did you have to remove your wheels to swap out the guards or did you just squeeze in there between the wheel and strut? I figure removing the wheels makes the job easier but if I could get in there without taking the wheels off thats more convenient

For video and recording purposes, it was easier to take the wheels off

Are these rad rubber or oem?

They are just some generic ones I found on eBay. Definitely better quality than OEM since the rubber is a lot thicker!
