Wouldn't it make more sense to put the port on the opposite side so it flows across and sucks up chips on the bottom?

I agree cross flow would probably be best, but it wouldn't work for my install. I honestly think the results are more than acceptable, but I'd be interested to hear how much of a difference it would make. 🤙
