The nibs hold A LOT of paint, I learned that my first refill go-around. They clean out (when altering color) really quickly under a faucet… the cap too. The little piece of foam on the inside of the cap too holds a bit of paint, and also rinses out well under a faucet.
We are having trouble unscrewing our Posco pens. They turn but done come off, and they have a smaller top than the ones you are showing on your video. Are you using the Posco PC-1MR pens? Thanks Mick🙈
I’ve been looking into how to refill/revive “Sharpie” marker. There seems to be water based and solvent based sharpies. MOST markers have 3 ingredients: a dye/pigment (the colorant), a medium that suspends everything in the marker (solvent/water based) and a adhesive so the color sticks to whatever you’re writing on. SO I would think to revive/refill a marker you have to add all 3 ingredients. The raw ingredients providers sometimes mix 1, 2 or all 3 ingredients. Replacing/refilling just 1 ingredient may not solve the problem, if there isn’t an adhesive the dye/pigment wouldn’t adhere to the medium. SOOO just refilling a dried out marker may last for a while BUT if there’s no adhesive (water/alcohol/oil based) your project won’t last long. You can always do a “MSDS” search to find out what exactly is in the marker. It’s usually water or alcohols (of some sort, there are many)
Generic Jesus I just learned something new:). Thank you. I will have to investigate a little further. So far my hints seem to be doing well, but maybe for long term they wouldn’t.

It is easier to hold it down, release, shake, and repeat. You will run less risk of paint flooding the nib and causing a mess which is also very wasteful. It will also allow the nib to last longer.
