I have set mine up through my master output 2 instead but not getting any sound? Anyone got any ideas. My RCA are in master 2 which goes to 1/4 jack and then the other side plugged into my phone but nothing is happening. Using Pioneer rx3 and Android phone. Thanks
Make sure when you plug the irig to your phone. The app your streaming to isnt open yet. Good way to check is to start to record a video with music playing, should say something like "recording audio through input device"

I Don't have the New Note as yet but you'll need an adapter.

You would have either have to get a small mixer or use OBS on the same laptop to output to Social Media

I am trying to record myself with smartphone video and the IRIG2 THROUGH THE MIXER without success......anybody can help ?

That should work fine, xlr female to 1/4 inch male.

I usually record my sets via Serato DJ with the built in features of Serato

One small detail people have been leaving out of these videos is that the input is mono. The 1/4" input is a TS (Tip Sleeve.) If you have music that pans hard right or hard left, some of it will be dropped out. There is an adapter to correct this, but you're using too many already. Just buy a Y cable. 1/4" TS Male to Dual 1/4" TS Male. One cable is easier to connect giving you the best possible outcome, a dual mono signal with both left and right channels combined. Hope this helps anyone else using this for non-guitar type hook-ups.

It might be a power issue. Try plugging or unplugging your charger.

Hey Singh man I'm having trouble with this hook up. I have all of the pieces you suggested and put together but it's still hasn't improved the sound and is picking up background noise.
It seems like something is either not plugged in to the right output, or a bad cable. What type of setup are you doing? A Simple DJ setup?

My iPhone & working fine, but when I hit live stream on Facebook no sound, it could be Facebook & did audio test on my phone to iPhone XS to test my voice.. somewhere there a problem? Cant figure out what it is?

You could. But i believe it would still send out a mono signal to the stream

It could be a lot of things, what phone are you using? what are you using to connect to the iRig? (It just might be a bad cable or connector) Where are you getting your audio feed from (Booth, Master)?

Hi, for livestreaming on facebook with the irig 2 my iPad Air 2 is not catchig the sound. It used to work before and its not working with my iPhone 11 PRO

Pretty complicated. OBS should be able to detect your SX3 audio card as a sound device anyway. No cables needed. It detects my DDJSR2 & Mixars Primo controller. Shouldn’t be any different for the SX3.
OBS recognizes my SX2 as an audio device, but no signal is showing when music is playing, still trying to figure that one out.

If you are using a guitar, you wont need any adapters that i mentioned. Also make sure you plug in the irig to your phone before you open any app you are trying to stream / record to. I dont own a guitar, but whatever cable that is uses should be going to the 1/4 inch slot directly.
@@AshtonSinghDaGuardian but It didnt work Bro, look: i connected the 1/4 balanced at the irig to the female xlr, other cable to the irig to the guitar, that one is no balanced and then the phone, and nothing happends

It really doesn't matter. It depends on what Cables you have at your disposal. Either way, the point is you have control of the volume directly from your MIDI.
Would you know how to have direct audio plus be able to listen/talk/communicate with others on zoom so that I don’t have to keep plugging in and out by chance?
You'll need A rodecaster to do something complex like that. This is meant for 1 way input mostly.

Have you ever managed to make stereo video using IRig 2? I was never able to. Just using the stereo cabling the mono output sound.
No, Unfortunately that's just how the iRig 2 works. Hopefully they make an updated version that is more DJ Friendly. The iRig was originally designed to be for instruments.

Hi Ashton, are you getting both channels in the output from the iRig2? I've just bought one, and it appears that I'm only getting one channel from the input to the iRig duplicated in stereo at the output of the iRig.
No, the iRig will make it a mono signal that is duplicated. They have made a new version called the "iRig Stream" that would receive and send a stereo signal.

Have you tried strapping the irig to the mount using the Velcro's that comes with it, also test your audio using the headphone port
I try to use the velcro whenever I can. I usually never use the headphone port. I moniter with another device to check the livefeed.

how are u streaming to facebook live and not getting flagged ....i tried on instagram and it got shut down with in 2 mins of a live mix ?
The algorithm for FB and Instagram is getting better and better at finding the songs you are playing, that why at the expense of a clean mix, you have to play sfx and/or talk over your mix so that way you won't get flagged. American Music is hard to play LIVE on any of the social platforms, which is why i mainly use it for my Caribbean mixes. But even then, they find some of the classic Reggae or Soca songs.

Yes it would, but if you have multiple speakers to reference with.

Yes you can, but just from experience I like to do a test stream that only I (YOU) can view and Guage what's the best level. Most people are watching on either thier phones or a laptop, not on speakers or headphones. Hope this helps and/or I made sense.

Hi, can I use the iRig 2 on my Numark Pro 2 mixer? It only has a one output, an RCA output.
Also, can I use the iRig 2 on my android nokia phone?
For Your Setup, I wouldn't recommend it. You need at least to outputs so you can listen to what you are playing. I am not familiar with the Nokia phones, so I can't give a definite answer on that.

Once the you are able to connect the speaker's output to the line in of the iRig with the adapters I talked about, you should be fine. But you should consider a small mixer then connect the mixer to the iRig.
Or you can record a video on your phone and adjust the levels before you go on facebook live.
Yes. If want to hear how it would sound, that would be a way to do it.

You could, but the iRig does have some sort of Gain on it, so it has the potential to be distorted at High Volume.
Yo bro! Ive noticed a massive increase of comments since in quarantine! Im having some problems with audio interference, would it be because I don't have the mono RCA adapters? I didn't realise I might need them till Ive watched this video.
Also on my djm 450 I have no booth and on my ddj400 I have no booth.. what do I do?!
What is the problem exactly? Both of those mixers have RCA Output so the only adapter you need is the 1/4 inch to aux Female (Headphone) . And then an aux cable (headphone to RCA male).

Make sure the gain is all the way down on the iRig. Try to record a video first to test That the iRig is working.

It would be stereo is using the proper adapter.

For this particular product no you don't. But they do make apps for it, but it wouldn't control the iRig 2.

Does this broadcast in stereo?
No Mono, remember most people watching livestreams on their cell phone so in that case the difference between mono/stereo is small. With that being said, the iRig Stream is on B&H and that does stereo.

I can't get this thing to work at all. I've watched several different videos and it seems like a really basic setup. When I plug it into my phone it still only picks up background noise and nothing from my controller. I almost want to say my device is broken, but there is no way to tell. Please help.
What are you using to connect the controller to the iRig? A way to test the iRig is functioning is to plug it in to your phone and record a video. For androids, it should say something like, "recording though external mic" or something along those lines. Hope this helps and you don't have a faulty device.

Nothing happens.There is no notification that says you device is recording with an external mic or anything similar. Could it be that the headphone adapter 3.5mm splitter Aux Jack Dongle isn't powerful enough to activate the signal between the iRig and iPhone?

@@jamestillman3500 So it looks like the adapter you are using is preventing the iRig Signal from coming in. I know iPhones are finicky on what products are compatible with theirs. Since the making of this video, there is a new version of the iRig that is meant for iPhones (amzn.to/2WZ965a). If this is the one you have let me know.
If not,
Another test we can do is to connect a wired earbuds with the mic attachment and see if that works with calls and recording video. If that works, then it might be a compatibility issue with that adapter. I would try a different adapter that has Mic compatibility.

Twitch via separate mixer through USB into obs.. The sound is great and mic levels great
Using a second output on my external mixer into the irig.. Music sounds good but getting complaints the mic sounds low.
