I’ve been using one for months for Church recording. Connect to an X32 mixer with my wired and wireless mics. For input it the iRig, using a DI box reversed for balanced to unbalanced and isolation. Requires a XLR female to female adapter for each channel. Works great. Power is 5 volts DC, tip positive. It’s a not common plug size, and the iRig needs at least 2Amps to operate and charge. It works well with a non JK power supply, if you can find one.

Little useful tid bit for streaming Dj's using a Pioneer DJM S-9 mixer: If you are using OBS Studio to stream, just use the other USB port that is not not connected to your laptop with DJ software, i.e. Serato, with cable going to another or same computer you are streaming live with. OBS Studio will recognize the S-9 as an audio source for capture. No need for any interface boxes or whatever. I have done it and the sound quality is great as it comes straight from the mixer to the streaming source. The only downside is that if you have another DJ with you using another laptop for handovers, you will have to get a device like an iRig, etc. :-D
I'm surprised to find the number of DJs that aren't aware of this capability of their equipment and instead opt to buying a Zoom recorder for several hundred Euros to record sets. o_O'
@Juan Sanchez I run it through the booth output. Turn up the volume on the irig and for the booth output set it to the 9 o'clock position. But now serato dj has an update that allows the sound directly and I use OBS with yellowduck.

I've noticed I hear people playing the same exact things I play and it plays in stereo, whereas with my playback, it doesn't play in stereo and I'm just using the iRig2. If paying for the iRig Stream isn't going to give me true stereo sound, without cutouts that would go "ear to ear" full stereo then what's the point??

Kevin Stack you’ll need a rca to 1/8 cable that’ll run from your mixer into your 1/4 adapter that plugs into the irig,i have an iPhone so I purchased a 2 in 1 lightning adapter from apple that way I can charge my phone while streaming or recording....it’s really easy & the audio quality is not bad

I got the iRig stream and I need to create Instagram Reels in Stereo via the Instagram app on an iPhone but after trying many times with different cords etc. I am only getting a mono signal recorded to the reel with the iRig Stream. The same this happens when doing a remix on instagram in the app, recorded in mono. Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

What is the link for the adapter you used to charge your ipad while hooked into the irig and how did you do it? In the video you said that you hooked up apples usbc digital multiport av adapter using irigs usb A cable, but unless you got the lightning version Im confused on how you hooked up that adapter to your ipad. I've been trying to solve this issue so that I can stream from my phone while charging my device. I have found that a standard DC cable doesn't work and neither does a lightning usbc splitter. Had mine since April '20 and it's been flay from the start. WHEN it works it is superb. I hate the fact that it does not fire up and work (send signal to my phone) UNTIL you hit live stream on the phone. Only after starting a live stream does this unit then fire up and process audio. That means you start a live stream then plug this into your phone which means fiddling with the phone while live??? Just recently - the unit (even when powered with the additional cost power supply) is playing up and not performing as it should on Facebook live. Sometimes connecting and streaming for a second then dropping out. Last Sunday it would not functional at all - had to do a show off the phone mic and by comparison the sound was crap. Sadly, I don't know if it is covid lowering staff levels but IK Multimedia seem reluctant to respond and help. Their Twitter channel is great, they respond but simply point you at support - who seem to be asleep. The support contact page allows contact through their form - but no ability to attach documents they ask for. I am bordering on buying a Roland mixer Pro but don't really want to.
I just ordered a iRig HD 2 and a iRig Pro Duo so hopefully they work just as smooth as the stream does, which was sold out EVERYWHERE. It is about a week to come in, HD2 from EBay and Pro Duo from Amazon with pro DUO being $200 compared to $100. Not sure which will be better but figured I test both and return or resell one of them.
iRig HD 2 and iRig Pro Duo will be close to the same in regards to operation and use with different apps. The iRig Pro Duo will allow for stereo input. iRig HD 2 would limit you to a mono input since it's designed for a guitar input. I have an irig pro duo and it’s weird because lately it works fine with my phone video cam, but it doesn’t with Facebook live. Any ideas why it won’t trigger on? The blue LEDs light up but it doesn’t flash green and yellow like it does with the video camera.

I have a controller and pioneer dm40 speakers. My dm40 speakers connect into my controller/rca. I have 1 more out put XLR. So I bought XLR to rca then type c into.my phone. When I live stream they only hear white noise. Any clue??

I have the iRig Stream Pro. I'm using it with a Sansumg S7 phone. It doesn't have USB C so I bought an adapter cable for it. I wanted to use it mostly for multi tracking in my Bandlab recording app. Works fine for the first recorded track but when I put down the second track it is horribly out of sync Have tried latency test but doesn't seem to work. Love the sound of the device but I got this issue. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I own a s9+ and my irig works for a limited time, it can be anywhere from 20 mns to an hour, however eventually it creates cuts like a vinyl jump and pitch distorsion! My set up is booth out jack 6.35 into the irig rca to the phone usb c. I stream on FB.

Hi, just got one of these for Christmas and was super excited to test it out, which I did last night and nothing happened! I connected the main out from my Taktor Kontrol S3 controller with an RCA cable to the iRig and then played a track, no LED's came on! I then used the USB cable and plugged this into my MacBook Air and the blue LED came on, but with no sound coming through and no matter what I did with the volume on either the mixer or the dial on the iRig, only the blue LED remained. What I did notice was that as I plugged the dim connector into the iRig, all the LEDs flickered but only the blue LED remained. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have contacted IK Multimedia support but not heard nothing. I'm guessing the unit is faulty?
Nah it’s happens to mine too, I’m lucky if I get to connect it. What I do is I make sure the mixer is turned on and the songs I’m gonna play are paused and ready to go, and I make sure the camera is ready and up, AND THEEEEN I connect it, once it’s connected I spin the board to see if the tiny light above the knob on the irig turns on(green or red). Sometimes it works if you do it in that order. Just make sure everything like the songs and camera are ready to go and then plug in the irig. This thing is a piece of s*** to be honest, f****** guy at the store said this is “the best one for streaming” bs. And then I also emailed IKmultimedia and nothing. As of now the steps I gave above are garbage to me cause now that It connects, it disconnects like 30seconds in.. I’m so sick of this thing and I just got it. Paid $130 for it to have the cable break and then I buy a new cable and the same thing is happening. Garbage product, all these comments must be bots because this thing is garbage.

Just out of curiosity, which streaming software are you using? i used "OBS" both times i streamed it randomly stops, can anyone refer me to a video that breaks it down for PC or if you mojaxx can help, i would greatly appreciate it. Fyi i have a high end pc so no need to wonder if my pc can keep up because it can lag free. Im just wondering why obs stop sporadically.
i dont know about this one. RZA used this iRig thing vs his IG LIVE battle vs DJ Premier... he had a lot of issues and audio wasn't as clear as DJ Premier's feed

Great video again Mo! This is really the device I've been keen on picking up. Know if it'll work with a Samsung phone specifically? I've heard that although devices like this work on most Android devices, Samsung tends to have issues with audio coming in through its USB ports, even on flagship phones. I have an A50.
Emailed IK Multimedia this morning, my contact said Samsung phones should be fine, he’s using an S8+. But maybe worth contacting their support team to ask about a specific model.

im assuming that if i was to to input stereo into it and then stream on facebook live...would facebook sum that to mono even if i had the switch on the i rig set to stereo?
Yes it does sound great but had a couple of issues with it already :/ lightning cable broke inside my iPad and after that discovered audio doesn’t work properly on Google Pixel 3. Also had issues on iPhone 6. I think it’s power related. Works fine on iPhone 11.

ikmultimedia Can you help? I am plugging RCA out from the “master 2” outputs on the back of my DJM 900 mixer into the RCA of the irig stream. I connect it tk my iPhone and when I go on IG live, I get no sound at all. IG live is only picking up audio from the room. Am I missing an obvious setting? But ive just got the Allan & Heath Xone 96 mixer ajd i just cant seem to get it working on my phone correctly.. I can get audio but i cant pick up the mix for when i mc on my live streams.. HiPurchased this unit 2 months ago and I was really happy with the concept!Using your mobile phone to stream/record your music or dj sets and also works as a sound card for your computer.Started to play with it and testing it In my experience when it's connected to laptop as a sound card I have no issues, the live streams are going smoothly, even 6 hours without a sweat.But when it's connected to iPhone it's glitching out.Sometimes after I start recording the video 5-10 mins later I notice that the led went from green to blue and when listening back I hear glitching loop sound.Multiple attempts later I noticed that around 1 hour mark is doing the same(Usually I need to record around 90-120 mins of a mix).Never got to live streaming thru the phone, because of the disappointment during recording. Is my unit faulty??Anyone else experiencing the same?

My irig works like a charm for my Instagram live streams, people always say the sound is crystal clear.

Also to check your sound, turn on voice recorder on your phone and play something to hear what the output volume is.

How do you monitor your mix while using this device? Bluetooth monitor? Split RCA?

Does iRig Stream work with alternate user stream... ie online Open Mics on Instragram Live? Mine seems to cut out as soon as I become the chosen performer.

I’ve just bought this irig stream ... using it with my iPhone 12 to do a Facebook livestream ... however after trialling on a 30min live feed I noticed a 3second audio dropout! Happened once! Any reasons why would that be and what can I do to make sure that does not happen again ???

So how do i use this for TikTok streaming? I have a ddj controller that is usb to laptop and my master audio is from speakers that are connected to the laptop. Would my master output come from the headphone jack on the irig? I’m lost 😸

I have an irig pro duo and it’s weird because lately it works fine with my phone video cam, but it doesn’t with Facebook live. Any ideas why it won’t trigger on? The blue LEDs light up but it doesn’t flash green and yellow like it does with the video camera.

Has anyone used the iRig stream to do an IG live with split screen? It works fine when I am streaming on IG alone but when I add someone in, the audio changes to the default phone audio. Anyone have any fixes?

I have a controller and pioneer dm40 speakers. My dm40 speakers connect into my controller/rca. I have 1 more out put XLR. So I bought XLR to rca then type c into.my phone. When I live stream they only hear white noise. Any clue??

I use my rca main out to irig then irig to laptop for stream then use the booth output (xlr) to my monitors for external sound

Dj Rollie how are intending to stream ??if you use just usb (xdj Xz sound card)with obs it depends on how powerful your laptop is?mine dropped sound and visuals the cpu was to much running rekord box,obs,Facebook/twitch....using irig means you can stream music direct from mixer with music from usb stick and will lower your cpu

I have the iRig Stream Pro. I'm using it with a Sansumg S7 phone. It doesn't have USB C so I bought an adapter cable for it. I wanted to use it mostly for multi tracking in my Bandlab recording app. Works fine for the first recorded track but when I put down the second track it is horribly out of sync
Have tried latency test but doesn't seem to work. Love the sound of the device but I got this issue. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I own a s9+ and my irig works for a limited time, it can be anywhere from 20 mns to an hour, however eventually it creates cuts like a vinyl jump and pitch distorsion!
My set up is booth out jack 6.35 into the irig rca to the phone usb c. I stream on FB.

What cables are you using from mixer to irig, I tried using 1/4 trs to rca, or 1/4 trrs to rca! Both of the I get static noise.

It's 5v (at least that is what the specs says). I have a multivoltage DC plug in. It powers up on 3v and 4.5v on mine.
Hi, just got one of these for Christmas and was super excited to test it out, which I did last night and nothing happened!
I connected the main out from my Taktor Kontrol S3 controller with an RCA cable to the iRig and then played a track, no LED's came on! I then used the USB cable and plugged this into my MacBook Air and the blue LED came on, but with no sound coming through and no matter what I did with the volume on either the mixer or the dial on the iRig, only the blue LED remained.
What I did notice was that as I plugged the dim connector into the iRig, all the LEDs flickered but only the blue LED remained.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I have contacted IK Multimedia support but not heard nothing. I'm guessing the unit is faulty?
Nah it’s happens to mine too, I’m lucky if I get to connect it. What I do is I make sure the mixer is turned on and the songs I’m gonna play are paused and ready to go, and I make sure the camera is ready and up, AND THEEEEN I connect it, once it’s connected I spin the board to see if the tiny light above the knob on the irig turns on(green or red). Sometimes it works if you do it in that order. Just make sure everything like the songs and camera are ready to go and then plug in the irig. This thing is a piece of s*** to be honest, f****** guy at the store said this is “the best one for streaming” bs. And then I also emailed IKmultimedia and nothing.
As of now the steps I gave above are garbage to me cause now that It connects, it disconnects like 30seconds in.. I’m so sick of this thing and I just got it. Paid $130 for it to have the cable break and then I buy a new cable and the same thing is happening. Garbage product, all these comments must be bots because this thing is garbage.

Just out of curiosity, which streaming software are you using? i used "OBS" both times i streamed it randomly stops, can anyone refer me to a video that breaks it down for PC or if you mojaxx can help, i would greatly appreciate it. Fyi i have a high end pc so no need to wonder if my pc can keep up because it can lag free. Im just wondering why obs stop sporadically.

Great video again Mo! This is really the device I've been keen on picking up. Know if it'll work with a Samsung phone specifically? I've heard that although devices like this work on most Android devices, Samsung tends to have issues with audio coming in through its USB ports, even on flagship phones. I have an A50.
Emailed IK Multimedia this morning, my contact said Samsung phones should be fine, he’s using an S8+. But maybe worth contacting their support team to ask about a specific model.

im assuming that if i was to to input stereo into it and then stream on facebook live...would facebook sum that to mono even if i had the switch on the i rig set to stereo?

Yes it does sound great but had a couple of issues with it already :/ lightning cable broke inside my iPad and after that discovered audio doesn’t work properly on Google Pixel 3. Also had issues on iPhone 6. I think it’s power related. Works fine on iPhone 11.

ikmultimedia Can you help? I am plugging RCA out from the “master 2” outputs on the back of my DJM 900 mixer into the RCA of the irig stream. I connect it tk my iPhone and when I go on IG live, I get no sound at all. IG live is only picking up audio from the room. Am I missing an obvious setting? Seems like IG or my phone is not recognizing the Irig once plugged in. Thanks!

HiPurchased this unit 2 months ago and I was really happy with the concept!Using your mobile phone to stream/record your music or dj sets and also works as a sound card for your computer.Started to play with it and testing it
In my experience when it's connected to laptop as a sound card I have no issues, the live streams are going smoothly, even 6 hours without a sweat.But when it's connected to iPhone it's glitching out.Sometimes after I start recording the video 5-10 mins later I notice that the led went from green to blue and when listening back I hear glitching loop sound.Multiple attempts later I noticed that around 1 hour mark is doing the same(Usually I need to record around 90-120 mins of a mix).Never got to live streaming thru the phone, because of the disappointment during recording. Is my unit faulty??Anyone else experiencing the same?
