Clear? So, how exactly did you connect to your interface? Two cables? Four? From the controller do you go to the input of the interface or out? Do I still leave my mini jack cable from my external computer speakers connected to my iMac? Sorry to bombard you but you seem to have grasped this easily.
RunTFC if you have a interface connected to your computer then just go into the selection in OBS and select your interface.

@@bernercalito8422 Interface doesn't show up, never has. I was told that I wouldn't need the power supply connected as long as the usb cable is connected between the two. Is that wrong? Reason I haven't plugged it into power is because I can't find the power cable.

Hello greetings.what type and brand of audio interface are u using beside your Mixer.I have a Rane 62 but some reason when i record my video mixes in OBS i have no audio on my right channel.
Is it possible to have this setup without an audio interface? I just realized I have my mixars serato mixer with a pair of turntables and my computer. No other source for audio. When I plug my mixer I to my Mac and select it I can hear the serato tone over the very quiet music...any ideas?
This works, but two big questions are : -
1. What if you have an Android? OBS Camera is only available for iOS
2. What's the best way to stream from OBS to Instagram? There are third party intermediate streaming services, but they don't work too well.

If you own an Elite mixer with 2 USB interfaces, you can simply feed OSB directly from the REC channel of the second interface. Simply connect your streaming computer to the 2nd USB and be sure you have selected "7.1" in the Audio setting of OSB

It would have helped my case tremendously how exactly he hooked into the interface because I seem to be having a hard time with music still coming through the internal mic instead of really internal through the controller and interface. Not sure if all inputs and outputs in the interface need to be used or what. Also, how do you find where to send someone a link to listen to your stream?
Just use Facebook or IG live. You don't need that kind of stress LOL
great tutorial. Im a young new DJ, i have this setup, but i need the Audio Interface source. I assume that is a mixer. If i have a DDJ SB3 with Serato, what mixer can I use ? Currently just streaming indirect with iphone picking up audio (speaker facing the phone). but want to figure out a direct audio solution

Its a shame Serato doesnt have broadcast capabilities built in. Years behind competing software
but in my 12 years of using serato it has never crashed on me once...traktor and virtual dj have multiple times...it's built to never stop!
If you own a dual usb mixer/controller can you use serato on one laptop connected via 1st usb port, and then the 2nd Usb to the other computer as the sound source to eliminate having to also include and audio interface to the equation? Does my question make sense?
For instance I have a Roland DJ 707m, I'd like to connect it Computer 1 (running Serato) and Computer 2 (running OBS), but can it be a audio interface for Computer 2, while running Serato on Computer 1? Thanks for the help in advance.
We haven't tested this setup, but we wouldn't recommend it as it's not a good idea to use a controller as an audio interface at the same time as using it with Serato.

hello very good, I am watching your tutorial and it seems very easy everything in fact I downloaded all the applications I already knew the obs and I have already broadcast live and others I am not a specialist in it but I defend myself however my problem is that I wanted to transmit from my phone because it is the same problem that we all have because the camera is very close to us from the mac and in no way I was able to connect neither with usb nor wireles no code appears when I load the camera obs install the application and neither plu in nor results, could you help me

What platform do you recommend for streaming mostly new hip-hop music, considering that facebook and instagram are pretty strict with the copyright claims? Is there a platform that doesn't stop your streams due to copyright claims?

•phone, tablet, or computer to stream
•2nd phone or tablet to read comments
•rca to 1/8 cord
•audio adapter for selected stream device if it doesn’t it have 1/8 input
•session out of mixer into the input/mic audio adapter

DJ_Gumby login to the same IG/facebook account you using to stream on the 2nd tablet or iPhone then click your live like your about to watch it, to see/reply to the comments.
Even easier if you have second accounts on them platforms

Right i couldnt get OBS to register sound and then i found out that my macs security was blocking it so i unblocked it and then i got sound .Getting the ipad camera to work was like pulling teeth but eventually that worked . So i couldnt get a soundcard so i used my akai amx instead.Then to twitch streaming and crunch freez crash from serato so i am back where i started.

I don't have either one. I have a Numark N4 that if it appears in Obs but it does not give me a signal. Connect two rca from the table to the laptop and you also have no signal. Could you help me ?, Thank you.

I also need help badly. I don't have an audio Interface (Just my macbook pro with OBS and Traktor DJ 2, my Traktor DJ Controller S2 MK4) and when setting up my Multi-Output Device (My Controller S2 and the IshowU program to directly stream said audio), for some reason I cant select my connected headphones under the dropdown menu for 'Headphone Output' in Traktor DJ2, therefore I can't listen to cued tracks. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

@@SeratoHQ Ok good news .It would seem that Serato got it wrong about the need for two laptops for twitch via O.B.S with Serato My Mac book needed a second sound card so i downloaded a virtual one instead.My Mac can handle O.B.S Serato and Twitch all at the same time.I do have to set it up right though as somehow managed to record the time code signal but there was no other problems so once that is done i will be Twitching.Is that a thing?
I think the title needs some work. It should be "How to Stream Your DJ Sets If You Have a Mac and an iPhone and want to use OBS". The production of video is good, but it is literally instructions for how to stream using OBS, Mac, and your iPhone. Want to cover Windows? What about Linux that you glossed over (obvious reasons here, but still, included in the start of the video and ignored since). How do you set up your controller as a sound device in windows? what ASIO driver do you need for linux?
g0ste there’s this DJ named Terrence... something I forgot his last name but he has a video on different ways to do it and even for Facebook. But I’ve figured out how to do it with windows computer, capture the serato window and even stream on Instagram
My time code signal keeps coming through when I try to stream. Thebroadcast goes out and there is a noise that sounds like a fax on top of the music, how do I remedy that?

Renaissance Music LLC I believe nothing will never stop the copyright issues. Even when you right “for fair use” or “for educational purposes” . Seams like they have a algorithm that hears the music then pulls the plug without reading your titles

In this video I'm sending the output from the DJMS9 (which is an audio interface) to a secondary audio interface. Using the same audio that your using to send out requires a plug in like Loopback to route the audio back in to the computer - rogueamoeba.com/loopback/

RCA to AUX. Plug the RCA through your booth and AUX into interface.

I got everything going but only one side of my mixer works just the left side. When I go to the right side I get no sound. Any ideas?
This sounds like a possible faulty cable issue. I would swap your left side cables with the right side and see if your issue occurs on the left side. This will help you figure out if your cables are to blame. Thanks.

Yeah there is google loopback it’s an app designed to route sound internally. Having a separate computer takes the stress off the one computer processing video and audio and internet

I'm getting a 15 second lag from OBS to FB live. Is that normal or is that because I'm using Android phone as a webcam and DroidCamX?
lower the frame rate of the camera .That might help.
If you’re talking about both video and audio sync’d but not showing until 15sec later on your stream, that’s normal of any streaming platform. If you’re talking about dropped frames or desync’d audio to the video feed, then lower your bitrate in OBS cause your internet speeds or your computer can’t handle your current quality settings.
So, in no way this works when you just want to use 1 laptop? Or only have 1 laptop to use? I have a Reloop 90 DVS, 2 turntables and a Lenovo i5 processed laptop with a Sony phone and an optional mic to use.. How would I go about setting it up for my gear?
Its not recommended, but yes it can work with one laptop if its a high spec'd laptop eg MBP 15" etc
@@Kutcorners It's a 15.6 inch Lenovo i5 with 8 GB of memory and 4GB of video memory from a Nvidia 1650 GTX. Would that be sufficient?
@djdarkd, those specs are more than enough to run it on 1 computer. I run a MacBook with i7, 8gb ram, and Radeon 550. I also use a lot of graphic overlays on mine. You just need to learn how to use the right settings in OBS

Lol I feel you. So far the best I got is keeping a fast pace and believe it or not having a clean audio only helps the algorithm pick you up easier 🤷🏻♂️ everyone is saying Twitch is the best place so I'll going to try that next. Not sure how I'm going to get an audience tho 🤔
Use Twitch to stream. IG/Facebook doesn't have licensing sorted with the majors

If you own a Reloop ELITE mixer you can simply feed OSB directly from the REC channel of the second interface.

With both rca I get a shity signal and when I take one out it’s only on one side
Have you tried swapping out your RCA cables for a new pair? They could be faulty.

Folks with no USB Audio Interfaces, if you have a controller with a built-in sound card (most $400+), just select the controller in OBS audio devices. If you’re using Serato vinyl, you’ll need iShowU Audio Capture software, create a multi-output device in Audio Midi Setup and use both built-in audio and iShowU Audio Capture. The open up GarageBand and add a track with the correct input channels for the down mix of your USB mixer and set it to monitor so that iShowU captures that audio. Now just add an audio source in OBS and set it to the iShowU Audio Capture device. If you need help or wanna see a demo of it, come join my FB group for tech support on this stuff. Honestly this is way to complicated serato. Even Virtual DJ can stream directly from within the software. Not everybody has a spare computer at home smh
