Kudos to your help, as I've been getting frustrated with watching how other DJs hook up for live streaming, you just saved me a whole lot of money, Im using a Traktor Kontrol S8 and am running my speaker cables through to my Booth outputs. I have the master being routed to my Irig2 as you showed in your video. Of all the other methods I tried before I was getting interference from my speakers. But this one works fantastic. I also have the apple adapter where I never lose a charge on my iPhone. Once again thanks, I will subscribe to your channel. Jay Richards
Yes if your controller doesn’t have a record out, you should use the booth output and put you speakers on the master output .... with the booth connected to the irig then you can have a dedicated control volume for the audio going out to record .... just an idea good job though ....

Hello,I made the stereo test on a live video Facebook and if we enter a stereo jack in the irig there is only one channel that passes, so we hear from the speakers only one channel. It is impossible to have the stereo effect but it is important to have the sound of 2 channels if you did not want to lose parts of music. The easiest is switch on the mono position if your get it on your mixer. Or used a cable that brings the two channels to a mono jack. Or bridged yourself a mono jack on a stereo cable (R & L together).
I have the pioneer DDJ controller which only has 1 output - which is currently plugged into my boombox/speakers. If I plug the audio output into the irig can I use the mic output on the irig to connect to the boombox speakers??
Hi, an oldskool junglist here..... can you use irig from an analogue mixer + two vinyl decks going through to a phone.... I done the whole digital controller + trss to phone successfully on FB but getting bored of that and want to mix the natural way now 😀👊🏻
Ok here goes my question i'm trying to stream live DJ on Facebook i 'd like to use the IRIG IK Multimedia GUITAR midi Interface for better audio it seems to be the same as the newer IRIG 2 but is less expensive connects the same way i'd like to use it if possible and the other question i have is this if i connect my iphone mic and headphones to this will i be able to respond to people commenting on Facebook or do i have to got through the microphone setup on my mixer / controller? Please advise thanks also

Hey guys, does anyone know how to convert the mono amp output at the top so it plays out of 2 speakers? I want to listen to what i’m mixing while I DJ but it only comes out of 1 speaker. Thank you! (Not using a mixer btw)
I did almost the same exact thing so make DVS setup with VDJ, head phone jack cord that split to rca then 2 rca splitters...one on each side rca channel and there ya go now that you have four you plug them into each channel on the mixer accordingly and there you go..... obviously you need control records but I use Serato with no issue and it even allowed my mixer which was totally analog 2 interact with the program like when you moved the crossfader EQ knob it moved on to program but no USB input it all
i know its coming out from your controller stereo you used RCA... but the irig its self its only mono?. (1 stripe on the 1/4 inch plug). are you sure you are not loosing some of the sound, did you try the left and right. just wondering im planning to buy one too..

MAGIC DICE MUZIC SOUND SYSTEMS HI I’m not too sure. I’ve never used it to record a mix. I’m a Serato user which gives me the option to record my set with there software:)

@@magicdicemuzicsoundsystems5441 You may have already figured this out already but put a ‘3mm Jack TS Mono to 3.5mm TRS Mini Stereo Jack Interconnect Cable (Mono to Stereo)’ into the socket that has the guitar logo on the irig 2. Then put the other end of the lead into the aux socket on amp/stereo. Then on the irig 2 make sure the switch is set to ‘thru’ then you will hear the output while you mix.
I have irig2 plugged into my phone and it is still using phone mic and not going directly from my DJ controller. I have TSR to 1/4 but it comes from booth. Not working 😞
Booth is for the DJ monitor not line out, you use main out/record out to go to the irig just as he has it in the video. The idea is that you can then set the booth speaker level which does not interfere with the recording levels. RTFM. :)
You can do... There's nothing saying you should do and this is completely not what Booth output is intended for. Often a dedicated record output will sound better than the booth. If you have your gain set appropriately you shouldn't need to regulate anything else.
Anyone know how if I can use one of these on a ddj 400 ad also use my rokit 5s at the same time if that makes sense, im a new starter so not to clued up
I bought the new irig Stream, as it is a proper stereo streaming interface. The irig 2 is great, but as you said, it is really meant to be used with guitars.

@@mattytattis9416 The irig Stream uses 2 standard RCA/phono input sockets, which I feed from the stereo record outputs of my mixer. It also has a 3.5mm headset input on the side which lets me connect a gaming headphones with a built in mic.

Now I have a basic party mix numark mixer .. that has only standard left & right, but has no booth output, how ever that set up was easy to follow, you forget to mention that with most iPhone users, need C4 cable which connects to the lighting headphone set ..yet to test So luckily I have Vmx 1000 be ringer, 5 line 4 channels mixer which has booth output Update.. I tried several times.. but maybe it’s not working? I had connect a wireless headset mic to test & that works Mmm, maybe I’m doing something wrong?
Hello, there should be other identical master output ; booth monitor or Rec. if there is only one output you can connect an amplifier to the irig (thru function). on the other hand, I do not understand how a stereo jack line output can plug into a mono mic jack input ???? The digital ways are impenetrable ;-)
this guy may not be around now, he forgot to tell us what do you do inside the iphone to catch the sound coming out of the controller or mixing board. i connect everything accordingly the phone doesn't do anything. the phone doesn't open any software or program to catch the sound. i did plugged it in out my Numark scratch booth output. that way i can control how much sound i can send through. unfortunately, the phone is not receiving any signals. Anyone, please?

What’s about Qtr inch that has a chord str8 to the master output. With no adapter. Qtr inch to male ? Should sound lil better ??

I followed these EXACT steps with a samsung S8 plus and did not work whatsoever. WHY ??????????
