Definitely do not want to see all of the "gurl power", that is in thr game.. It is so overdone, and unbelievable, I am already prepared fo the Netflix movie to suck.

Plot Armour is stronger than anything in the world
This is because they were ordered to pull back completely. They were kicking the absolute shit out of the Division and had basically wiped out every Division agent in DC before they were ordered to pull back entirely and go back into the shadows to let them do their work for them and save money/resources, etc.

Basically they say they will fuck us up... I love it. SHD pushes back the initial invasion of the entire city, kicks Black Tusk out of Tidal Basin AND the Ronald Reagan airport. Cant wait for more content in game

But will the black tusk be able to take on the cleaners with flamethrowers, the rikers with the guns and the guts fight and die, the LMB with the firepower along with choppers and a APC or the hunters whi are strange and dark and know how to take down their enemies i think the hunters will be the biggest threat the black tusk has to take on they can't find them easy and they are really deadly up close and far away.
I like how they refer to each other as "Tusks". Although it is kinda cheesy hearing them say "Tusk down" when you kill one of them lol

In the recordings you find from Keener, he talks about a bigger picture and leading people on a chase. To top it off, he strictly mentions that he still has the DNA printer and original schematics, as well as the Russian Doctor and that "the division should be careful on who they chase".
I'm spitballing, but I think Keener will be back, but to oppose this new ground behind the black tusk.
I think Keener is truly the wildcard here. I believe he turned rogue because he got wind of the massive conspiracy against the government and took opportunity of the ensuing chaos in NYC to make sure he doesn't end up a) what the BTSU wants for the Division; annihilation and b) a pawn for the big dogs.
Wyvern knew about Keener. She specifically states about rogue agents within the division that they can use. I wouldn't be surprised if these two had dealings before or worked hand in hand as well.
Keener wants us to turn rogue, and go against this hidden agency. I mean, look at how the BTSU was dealing with washington prior to division arrival; they paid people to kill off the head of the State, they ensure one of their own becomes the president and they have the anti viral. If we knew about this when we were in NYC, we would have turned rogue too.
@@RaZeyLWindBladE Keener turned because of the 1st wave and how they were abandoned to die. See the 1st wave orders were to push and take control in DZ. The JTF decided to pull out, leaving them completely abandoned with all the people they were supposed to protect. Keener had this experience before he snapped - he watched the people he was supposed to help being slaughtered.
See the 1st wave Division agents didn't have a choice - if they pulled out with JTF, they would be declared rogue by ISAC. If they stayed - they die....They were trully fucked and abandoned. Hence why so many actually went rogue.
But Keener had other problems as well - his psych evaluation points that he is a bit of a megalomaniac with big sense of importance. He couldn't take being discarded and went a bit crazy....

Honestly, I feel really bad for Division agents. They’re just trying to protect their country and help out after a devastating pandemic, and they’ve gotten no end of shit from all sides. Abandoned in the Dark Zones, having the Hunters come after them, getting their operatives tortured, executed, all because some chucklefucks have it in their head that they don’t like the Division helping people out.
If we didn’t have assholes like the black tusk trying to stop us we would have saved this country a while ago. We’ll save it, I know we will.

They said that “they also have traitors (rogues) that we can get” I feel like that Aron keener guy is part of this group considering that in the division 1 he was as equal power as the SHD, and it was his ideas of recruiting rogue agents.
Edit: (June 24) I was right, in the “movie” of the division and them going back to New York they were going after Aron keener
Aaron Keener would be the guy to somehow piss them off though. Got to remember he hates the government since Ellis yanked the carpet right from under Division Wave 1 agents that ultimately created an even bigger problem and required a second wave of agents to be deployed. Then Keener wipes out the second wave with a SAM much to Col Bliss’ dismay, he was furious as to what Keener did because he knew better than to attract the attention of SHD in a negative light and probably had plans to assist the JTF.
So anything authoritarian Keener was against and he probably set the LMB to fail horribly. Black Tusk though he would declare an one man war and the results of that one would’ve been embarrassing for Black Tusk as we already have seen when he absolutely humiliated Schaeffer.
Honestly when I heard about these guys, I really didn't see them as a threat and just treated them as I would treat a level 6 hyena. Little did I know, they actually lived up to their description ( at least for me) and proved to be very combat effective. Instead of staying stagnant and imobile, some would flank while others provide covering fire. They used the explosive drones to flush you out of cover for a good shot. Their call outs are much more descriptive and you really get the sense that a professional military unit is after you, and these are only a couple of improvements out of many. Even though I rage at the factions effectiveness at killing me, I really do appreciate a good challenge and it really does make me love the game that much more at the end of the day. Love the vids, keep it up bro!!!!!

idk, i did my firsr black tusk mission solo and just bumrushed them with great success. crusader shield + deflector drone
21:43 maybe some of the CEO's from the Division 1. May be a part of the "New Dynasty." Remember the woman who was going to share Intel with Rick Valasi (ignore spelling)? Maybe some of those higher ups are a part of all of this.
I never played The Division 1. But HOT DAMN! the Divison 2 is a gem! i freaking love it... I just loooooove running around with my Tac-50 in the streets of New York and pick out baddies and see em get torn apart by one hell of a sniper shot! all the weapons a a treat to use and feel different, even thoes in the same category have distinct pros and cons that makes me choose a One LMG over another LMG everytime, cause of playstyle. This is the type of game where i constantly get sidetracked from my mission cause of something interrresting, and then i get side-tracked from the first side-track cause I keep finding interresting places, areas, missions, secrets, eastereggs, hunters, dyes, you name it... I really really like this game, and to think when i first saw the trailers i thought it looked a bit... boring...damn I was SO wrong.
Thanks for making these lore videos, It makes the game even more fun for me to play, when I know there is a reason behind the different fractions, other than "different enemy types". very good job. liked + subbed.

Im surprised how little these factions underestimate the power of the Division.
Over and over in the mission they keep acting tough despite loosing so much man power, leadership, and resources.
You would think that they would grow wise about taking the threats seriously,
but only Keener really seem to appreciate how well you preformed.

These videos you have made for the factions in this game has all been amazing so far, thanks for all the great content! 😁 Gameplay aside this is something that has drawn me to the division to start with is the absolute amazing story lines for both 1 & 2, the game can have issues. .but the fact still remains it's been one of my favorite story lines so far!

This is just .. perfect...... because the way the story is put together in div 2, i really had a hard time getting 100% investet in it , to me it was confusing , and bc of that, the echos, the cut scenes , didnt really appeal to me, and thats where you videoes come in... you make some damn good ones Sir.....

Peter Yim There's a short division movie here on TH-cam and amazon prime. I really wish they'd make a show out of the Division and Ghost Recon! The storyline in the games are pretty good and I know a lot of people enjoyed them. I mean they're all derived from Tom Clancy's books anyways. If I had the money I'd front the production costs hahaha. If done properly they'd be hits for sure.

Same thing happened to me. I thought it was over after ridgeway died and I left, but then the black tusk came and wiped all my progress and control points away.
@@-saltyhotpocket-8385 it's way more than just a bonus round. It's a completely new and different game altogether. I thought I could fight them like I did with the regular factions, but found out quickly that I had to readjust my tactics.

I do have a possible loose theory on who is the employer of the Black Tusk.
It might be Aron Keener.
I know it sounds a bit far fetched but bare with me.
For starters he done similar things with the LMB in NYC so it’s not too far to think that he could do a similar thing with another private military company; he’s extremely good at manipulating people to make them “puppets”. He’s highly intelligent and has the leverage of Technenko and possibility of creating a new dollar flu so getting the anti virals would be one if the the top of his top priorities.
This would also explain the Hunters; they might not be Rogue Division agents, but specialist Black Tusk elite soldiers, told to carry out their missions (whatever that might be) even it means eliminating other Black Tusk units; it would explain why they were first properly introduced in Survival when you were extracting the Anti-Virals from NYC and why they are like an Advanced Division agent (as Black Tusk, like the LMB before them are kinda like the Division in their own way), it would also explain the difference in equipment and fighting techniques if they aren’t Division Agents of some kind, but would also still use Division SHD tech, as Keener could have brought in his top rogue agents to teach Hunters. We also see in Div 2 that a Hunter has interrogated and murdered a Division Agent (I’ve forgotten his name) when we are first introduced to them in Div 2; then we see a similar thing happen in the Black Tusk echo that was shown in this video. Both were extracting information in a brutal manner of torture and both hung the subject while doing so; and lastly the subject was killed afterwards. Keener would also want all the watches of Div agents; and to make them even more mysterious he’s telling them to also eliminate rogue div agents. Or maybe he doesn’t need rogue agents anymore if he has the firepower of the Black Tusk in the palm of his hand.
In Black Tusk eyes the Division is a rogue agency, but why would they think that? Sure, some of them go rogue, but at no point have the Division as a whole done anything like that. Maybe they say that to justify themselves or maybe their employer, (Keener), brands them as so. And finally, we find recordings of Keener around DC, so was he in DC? Or did one of his underlings, maybe the PTSU or more likely Hunters leave them for us to find so that if Keener does “find us” if we want to be found by him we could give him all the latest intel on div activities in DC. Tbh, I don’t think he ever when to DC and someone he knows and trusts was tasked with just leaving them for Div agents to find. If I remember correctly at no point does he mention DC in his recording, which is odd as he talked a lot about NYC in his Div 1 recordings, I know there were more of them in Div 1, but not a single mention of DC in any of the 8 new recordings in Div 2 especially when he talked a lot about NYC either explicitly or otherwise in Div 1.
Just seems strange.
And why would he need to go to DC if he has 12 Hunters and a specialist Unit of Black Tusk there?
I could go on and I know it’s a bit of a stretch but I think it is a possibility with the given information we have atm.

That first ECHO? That does sound like Ellis... so if he DID contract the Black Tusk... well, I wouldn't be too surprised, given the background.
Watch the white house scene after you "rescue" him from the hyenas and then rewatch that echo again and you'll get your answer.

I was really hyped for this video of your LORE series, and it did not dissapoint. The Black tusks are one of the most important pieces of the story here, if not the most important so far. The LORE of this game is really intersting, many facts tied together, many theories that can fit... But I have still a doubt. Who is the goverment now? I mean, we, the players are agents of the SHD, the division, but the Black Tusks seem to be working for this "new goverment", so, as long as there's no "old goverment" around anymore, at this point I don't know if we are still the legit goverment or just a faction playing for the win here. I mean, Division is called "rogue agency", so... Are we all rogues now? Does anyone knows this?

We still are. The hidden agency, which in collaboration (or puppeteering) with Ellis and the BTSU, had a plan to overthrow the old government all along. I doubt they weren't the agency to startup that green poison, along with the rogue first wave agents.
I believe the best saying for the BTSU is "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" & "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Which pretty much sums up why the BTSU withdrew their plan when the Division showed up.

I look at the SHD as a DoD unit directly reporting to the President. While the BTSU is a organization that was created by the hard security authoritarian leaning intelligence community.
