FULL DAY OFF SHORE FISHING on "the san diego" boat.

Went on a full off shore fishing on the San Diego boat with mike, Joey, Jeff and Jason on Friday 5/12/23. Weather was nice and fishing report looked good. I wanted to catch yellow tails for Mother’s Day. Lol. Capt Ryan tried BFT but failed, bff were not cooperating. so we started kelp hopping and we got here and there. I wasn’t able to catch any but. Can’t say i loved it but it was fun fishing with Joey, Mike, Jeff and Jason. Boat caught total of 27 yellowtails (mostly babies but there was some nice ones). Great whale watching tour trip for me. Lol (thank you Mike for the donation yellowtail - it was delicious )

@@Fishingwithjameschoi yes sir. I know the deckhands kept telling everybody to change out their bait but I could feel mine bait swimming well so I decided to let it get as far away from the boat as possible. It turned out to be a good idea. And yes, that fish on the 20lb felt like a giant. Lol.
