It’s been 2 years since i visited Miami. Yup, came to visit customers for 2 days and stayed extra day for fishing. (Don’t tell my boss) I got to taste the blackfin. Taste like tuna to me. (Something between bonito and BFT)

@@solo022667 for 12pm to 5pm was 850.00 for the entire 28” center console. Rod/reel, license, bait is included. (David and i split the cost and tip. )

Appreciate your offer I fish with several groups: one of them is with Cortez sportsfishing (similar boat size as pacific dawn) We have like 8 of 2.75 trips setup at 980.00 with 14 limit. I’m already booked for early oct. Think i offered you to come to may 2024 soa trip last year. (Hard for me to change this season but come fish with me next year. I am very fun to fish with. lol (and crazy loud and annoying at same time. lol)

@@Fishingwithjameschoi I’d love to fish with you, you have a positive attitude and I have been on boats where if the fish is not biting as expected there are a lot of rude and grumpy people. For me the fishing is the fun part. Anything you catch is a bonus.

I am in full agreement. I blacklisted few folks recently because either they complain too much, talk too much crap or too pessimistic. Lol Why can just focus on fishing. Even if you took the best boat, perfect moon phase, perfect current/swells/wind, perfect sardines and setup (rode, reel, flouro and etc) Sometimes bite isn’t gonna happen. I don’t blame the captain because i know he hustled until the very 9th inning. And did 320 Nm on this trip. Again i appreciate that you appreciate myself just being me. Lol. I didn’t get your name ? @@Fishingwithjameschoi my name is Tam, I typically plan 2 multi-day trips a year and 2 overnight trips for my annual attempts at white seabass out of Ventura. I view these as cruises with the opportunity to catch a fish. My wife knows I go fishing for fun and lets me do my thing without pressure.

Yup because i didn’t get any tuna bite on this trip. I’m busy fishing., i don’t have time to capture all the actions of others. lol Sorry boss. If you want more actions, go check out other TH-cam, that catches all the time. Trust me, i really tried. Couldn’t get a bite except that bonito. Argh

I don’t know about early season. Since last year, we have been catching quality size tuna since April. PQ caught over 100 tuna like 3/4 weeks ago. I fished like i was gonna die tomorrow but i couldn’t get a bite. Arghh. So happy i have friends that shares tuna with me. Sharing is caring. lol

I have 3 days trip coming up on May 25 on spirit of adventure. (My first time on this boat). It would be nice if i can make it back to the 100lb club again. (Last year, think my biggest was 45lb on 3 charter trips and 90lb on my boat. 2022 was better. 2021 was the best for me. lol)

Took me few years but i think I’m getting better at rockfishing. Yes i like it too but i have buddies that refuses to rockfish, only BFT. Lol Im in agreement except salmon groupers. Even if you take care of it - it’s just nasty fish to handle it. If i can’t eat it raw then i don’t catch it. (That includes all bass, sharks and etc). That’s just me. For example: i love white fish. So easy to catch and so tasty. But i would love to catch 20lb yellows all day if i can. And 20 lb halibuts and bigger wsb. But i still suck at it. I can on charters but still struggling on my boat. lol Nice talking to fellow fisherman. Tight lines

It’s like a box of chocolate, you never know what you’re gonna get. Lol
