    Dude i cannot thank you enough for this tip, its quick and easy videos like this that make fusion a lot less scary and complicated

    It’s funny how many times I used the shortcut method only to find that later on in the design it made changing things harder.
    This is much better!

    Great tip Vlad, I'm sure many people will keep this in their back pocket to get them out of trouble down the road, just like it has helped me.

    Thank you so much for showing me how to offset my extrudes! i know that wasnt the point of the video but i was searching everywhere on how to do that and couldnt find an answer. amazing video overall!

    I jumped into fusion with out any knowledge of cad and I gotta tell ya, extruding on the wrong plane frustrated me to no end. That is untill now, thank you

    Another nice tip. You pick good topics and your presentation is clear and easy to follow, thanks! Can this be used to replicate a sketch to more than one plane?

    Nice videos you have, very instructional, what about if I have only one sketch in the timeline but many objects on it and want they in different planes for exemple if I want to create the same model you created but with sketches in all sides?

    Hi. Very useful, thanks. I am having trouble trying to use an auxiliary offset plane as destination for the redefinition of the sketch plane. It only allows me to choose one of the object planes...am I right? Thanks!

    Hello! how can you snap the line (which mid you use as face centre) to face vertexes if the sketch is not in the face? some options?

    EXCELENT VIDEO! PLEASE HELP ME
    Whenever i click "redefine sketch plane" the whole extruded body just vanishes! and therefore I cannot select another face to extrude from it! :(

    Thanks very much, how did you snap on to the corners when drawing the diagonal line, were you snapping to the grid? Thanks

      Go to Preference - Design, and make sure "Auto project geometry on active sketch plane" is checked. If not check it, hit Apply and restart Fusion 360. It's a default setting so it should be checked. If it's checked, then you should be able to automatically snap to the corners or lines of any geometry. Also, you can always hit 'p' on your keyboard to project the line into the current sketch and this will allow you to snap to it.

    Hello. How can I copy a sketch to the reverse side of an another plane?
    lLet say I have a skecht on a plane and I wont copy this sketch to a new construction plane. but I need also to copy this sketch mirrored or copy the sketch to the opposite surface of the consturction plane. Is this possible?

  • @robrimell9684
    @robrimell9684 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This seems so straightforward but when I select redefine sketch plane, bodies disappear so there are no planes to reference!!

    This would be great... if Fusion turned on the Design History by default! Trying to turn it on mid-design is a complete fail and there's no history. Trying to copy paste to a new sketch also doesn't work right. Really basic flaws in this program.
