Suuper helpful to break a software down like this by the very essentials. It’s so easy to get lost in details while you‘re missing essential parts of the bigger picture…
00:45 I like how the performance continues linearly from "peak proficiency" into "over learning" in the graph. It's almost the best performance per time spent in the whole graph. No reason not to over-learn and get going on those 1476 commands left :D
Very well done as always. I remember when I was starting and I realized that I didn't have to know the 1000's of commands, I just needed sketch and extrude for 90% of everything and the rest was waiting for unique use cases and to make my life easier. Far less intimidating when you think of it this way.
I am using fusion 360 a lot and I totally agree with the tutorial... Just with those commands you can do 95% of the design.... Next most important commands is find symmetry and patterns
Tyler, At 3:38, you say: "... and then you want to connect the sketch geometry to the origin and fully define it which makes it easier to edit in the future." Wouldn't it be best to start at the origin.....rather than connecting to the origin at the end almost as an afterthought?
Thanks Tyler.. I really like your videos. Builds confidence in me.. Man I get so frustrated somtimes.. I almost gave up and started looking at other options and tried onshape... That was an eye opener and I am convinced that fusion 360 is the platform that I am going to continue to use and learn.. Peace man Rolfie
At 1.50 a window pops open. How, what triggered this popup to open? If this video is for beginners, you have to detail ever click of the mouse or beginners will just walk away.
When I use the revolute command for the copy and pasted arm, Fusion gives me a warning that the selected joint type will result in conflict. This doesn't happen with the original arm. What am I missing here?
Hey Tyler I am having a problem i went on to a sketch I went to scale it and everything scaled except the font it stayed the same size. I dont know what to do lol
I'm new to this program and your pulling up menus and selecting features without explaining how you did this making it impossible to follow after 2 minutes.

Renaming/commenting of elements and sketches. Building of groups in large projects.
