  • The 2020 Toyota Sequoia in TRD Pro is a battle tested full size SUV that can truly do it all. Big size, lots of capability, and some nice off-road goodies give this aged SUV some renewed appeal and uniqueness. Come see what I like and dislike about this SUV so you'll have a better idea before you decide to go out and buy one

    This is a family hauler and should be reviewed as such, using kids, with car seats, rear facing car seats hooked it, two dogs, gear, and a boat hooked up. That’s our weekends in the summer and it’s a great vehicle. It’s not a weekend off road vehicle, or speedy luxury executive commuter, or a fuel sipping compact. It is what it is, a huge family hauler than can handle many situations. The leg room is great in the third row like you said. It’s my wife’s daily with the kids, we just put gas in it and go. We have a 2016 platinum 4x4 we bought new and now with 95k trouble free miles. We’re going to keep it as long as we can.

      I bought one in December, and I don't plan on ever buying another vehicle. It took me 15 years to put 173,000 miles on the Nissan Murano and this one will go 300k easy. They can pass all the laws they want, I'm grandfathered in.

    About a year ago I bought and 05 with 260k. I've put 2k miles and spent a substantial amount and I love this car. It has the older 4.7 2UZ-FE and truly feel this engine has now a quarter of its life.

    I really enjoy your reviews. TFL, Raities Rides, Redline Reviews, Straight Pipes, and Alex on Autos are some of the car you tubers that I watch all the videos, but you are detailed and organized as well. I really want this truck. I’m his or the Nissan Armada SL. I LOVE TOYOTA because my family on my moms side have all had Camry’s that last! 91, 01, 07. I like older styled vehicles. I’m ok with the older tech. Thanks for the reviews.

    Great Video! I really like that you spent more time talking in detail about the interior and The ride.
    Do you have a lot of floating happening at higher speeds on straight highway roads with the Fox Shocks? I ask, because I'm wondering what the difference between the Adaptive Air Ride suspension Vs. Fox shocks for highway speeds and cornering curvy roads and mountains? Also Does the TRD Pro Sequoia stay pretty flat on curvy roads, Body Roll with the Fox Shocks? I'm looking for the ride to be comfortable as much as possible. I love the look of your TRD Pro. I just don't need the off-road capabilities. I am looking to buy this Full Size SUV because the Sequoia has been around for a long time and the 5.7, V-8 I've heard is super reliable. Thank you!

  • @ryanday9737

    In the 90s, it was a trend for brands to describe themselves with three words to set their strategy and define their target market.
    For example...BMW...sporty, sexy, sophisticated
    Toyota was essentially....reliable, reliable, reliable
    Honda almost the same.
    Hence I only buy Toyota and Honda.
    Have worked in the automotive supply industry...have owned something of most brands.
    Sure, Toyota has an issue now and then...but not like other brands.

    • @faustogonzalez8397
      @faustogonzalez8397 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's a 5.7 L and has a timing chain. I'm interested in purchasing one of these, and if it had a Timing Belt I would reconsider. I have a 4.7 L and I have changed the timing belt, but I would rather not have the belt type.

    This car has the best AWD system in the class! MultiMod. TORSEN in the center differential. Ford, GM, Dodge doesn't have that all-wheel drive system.

    • @VroodenTheGreat
      @VroodenTheGreat 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem with the center locking diff... If you cant lock the front or rear diff, you can still get hung up if one front, and one rear tire are off the ground. The ability to also lock EITHER the front or rear diff would solve this problem.

    Parked a 25 year relationship with my old Suburban for one of these, and have 10,000k behind me now.
    Awesome vehicle, with some exceptions: c/w poor tires & battery...installed Ko2s at dealership 👍. While the gasketing is exceptionally well done, the sound proofing is a lick & a promise, generally poor. The 2 rear rows of seating are of exceptional quality for passengers, but all folded down leaves a poor cargo configuration in comparison to current and older Chev & Ford comparisons.
