  • @otiswinters3674
    @otiswinters3674 ปีที่แล้ว +10

    I checked out the new 3rd generation 2023 Sequoia and it too has several zonks! Like only 88 cf of cargo space, compared to 128 cf in the 2nd generation Sequoia. Another zonk is the 2nd and 3rd row seats don't lay down flat due to the hybrid electric motors. These two zonks are deal killers for me. Looks like the 2nd generation Sequoia is the one to buy! Thanks Joe and doing this review! You deserve an extra Twinkie today!

    • @ltigno
      @ltigno 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Only thing that broke down form me was the starter. I did it myself and it’s a pain in my ass. Other than that everything is reliable. Compared to other vehicles in this category you would probably have already replaced a transmission or something expensive to repair.

      gang zhao 80k miles for me. I didn’t put that many miles on it. Probably just the age of the car that’s why the starter went bad. It just won’t start one morning when i tried to start it. No click/no sound when i turn the ignition key.

    If I am trading my 2nd get Pilot for anything, it most likely would be this one. A few features of this: 1) Houses an entire football field inside 2) Very rugged construction so you can expect a long life 3) Actually good offroad. 4) Despite its size, it actually pulls quite well during acceleration and highway ramp merges. One thing to note is depending on terrain and load, it may sometimes gear hunt, but not as much as the 4Runner. This I believe is a typical Toyota tranny feature, as I see it in my RAV4 and other products I have driven.

    Forged wheels are the best and to have them made by BBS is totally worth it!!!

    Wonder why Toyota never put the Tundra front end on the Sequoia back when they did the update.

    Joe I would be sincerely to you I would zonk all the Toyota Sequoia TRD, I prefer the GMC Yukon AT4 2021 maybe is more expensive but it comes more equiped than the TRD pro and the Sequoia is the same as the first model only they make some refit on the outside but the interiors looks the same

    I’ve been wanting to trade in my Chrysler. Is the sequoia reliable? I’ve been looking at a 2013-2015 but the price is extremely high for 100k miles

    The question is... which is more comfy in the 3rd row... Expedition or Sequoia. The Sequoia when looking from the camera looks like there is a lot more leg room than the other Full Size SUV segments.
