    LOOOOVE this video. The traffic in NYC is no joke. LOL. I can see myself getting into accident, the fact FSD handled it so well it's mind blowing!

    I've had FSD for awhile now. These videos don't tell the whole story. It does pretty well with good lighting and clear, normal lane markings. But it hasn't really improved in other situations. Still randomly slams on the brakes for shadows on the road. Still turns into bike lanes if they're wide. Still often drives well below the speed limit even with aggressive settings. It almost sent me into a ditch turning onto a road with no lane markings.

    feedback: change the camera angle. as a nerd i like to see everything happen. and it closes out people who think you are steering somehow. its fun to have awide vieuw to see around while FSD is doing everything. besides those things we can also enjoy the views of new york as a non american. wich is a bonus. so def do as you like but would be great to see more :)

    This whole video reminds me of why I never want to live in a major city. All the buildings, people, cars cyclists, scooters, motorcyles, construction, and trash. What is nice, though, is when cars get really good at driving, I will be able to just close my eyes, put in ear buds and listen to music or watch a video until I arrive at my destination.

    Keep them coming! Love seeing FSD in NYC traffic. I am just updating to 12.5.6.3 this morning.
    If you can switch to a wider camera would appreciate. Comments and voice over is great 👍

    love to see these stressful tests, well done! maybe FSD really needs that Hurry profile on the street stack to go through a city like this

    New York is starting to resemble Pattaya, with so many cyclists and scooters. Haven't visited NY in more than 20 years; and I live so close, in Montreal. Great video; FSD is making steady and fast improvements.

    I like the speed controls on this version. The chill, standard and assertive modes before, I really never noticed a difference between them. I do with this version.

    That's not bad considering you were doing circles around Chinatown, one of the worst part of Manhattan if you ask me.👋👋👋

    The recommended offset is not 40%, that’s the default one. So use the 10% or 15% offset and take control of the max speed the car can go.

    • @JustAnotherTeslaGuy
      @JustAnotherTeslaGuy  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      After the update to 12.5.6.3, there was an initial popup that showed the different speed profiles, along with the % offset speed. There it showed 40% was recommended, I forgot to include it in this video. Will add it on my next one.

    • @voldar70
      @voldar70 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ Hmmm … not as I recall. I have this update since last Sunday and I don’t remember that. The fact that finally there is a Max offset solves the problem with the car going way faster than the limit speed, especially in school zones and city traffic.

    Please, PLEASE, stop pressing the accelerator. There is no reason to sit and watch these videos if you interfere every time an interesting situation is coming up.
    Also: at 2:52 you should not go into the intersection before there's space for your car on the other side. FSD was doing the right thing - you shouldn't have pressed the accelerator.
    Other than that, good videos, keep them coming !

      @anonymgoogle-bruger9741 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @T6V3R1C I get that it is stressful, but if he didn't press the accelerator it would literally be the best FSD videos out there (because it is such a stress test).
      Also, it reminds a bit of Europe because of the narrow streets and all the pedestrians, which makes it even more interesting while we wait over here.

    Why are yor traffic lights in the US placed so weird?
    If i would turn left or right i would constantly have the feeling running a red light!
    It is way more logical to place the traffic light where you actually stop rather than on the other side of the road!?

    • @RONderluck

    • @CCa-qe3hk

      Not really, it makes way more sense if the traffic light is placed were you stop.
      Just like the stop sign is placed on the side of the road where you are supposed to stop.
      It doesn't any make sense whatsoever if you for example turn left and see literally run a red light.
      If there is any benefit in having the traffic light on the other side of the road, then please enlighten me.
