    Looks good johnboy good to see new grouting techniques, was watching tidybricks boy recently n he said to watch when grouting your recessed manholes cos the grout sticks to the metal inside the cover . Great video you put on yesterday about cutting round radius off patio many thanks .How's your electric wacker n thot you were getting a new van . Take care boy ,thanks 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

    Do you ever get a problem
    With grout haze on the slabs?
    Seems every time I’m grouting I’m constantly washing down to get rid of that haze the grout leaves on the slabs.

      You need to just dry the joints before grouting that can help

    Nice job, I've purchased similar looking slabs from Cardiff slate and stone called basalt black. I'm having real problems cutting them without splitting. I'm using a 4 1/2 inch Dewalt angle grinder with a Dimond tile blade. Any advise would be appreciated cheers

    Hi Jonny great job 👍🏻 I’m doing a porcelain patio at home, I’m going to using the easy grout and the forecast is dry in the morning and light rain in the afternoon. Would light rain effect the workability of the product or will it be fine ?

      Hi Chris, they say its ok but just avoid it and make sure if you use a washboy system make sure its squeezes all the moisture ou and I use a liitle less of water in the mix to counteract the moisture you putting on the surface

    Hi Johnny. What is the perfect joint width for using Easy Grout Slurry. Was hoping to use a 4mm joint. Laying 800x400mm outdoor porcelain with an R11 slip rating on a half bond. Thanks very much

      Hi Adrian I find 4mm is just perfect now, make sure the beds your laiying have no voids or you will loose a lot of slurry

    How long do you have before you have to wash it off the slabs? My worry is it dries on top and I ruin my patio....

    Hi guys, I've just bought Azpects EasyGrout to do my porcelain patio. Hoping to get it done this weekend. You mentioned you spoke to Azpects Technical Team and you diluted it down more to effectively pour it into the joints? How much water were you adding then? Compared to the 900ml the packs says.     Hi Johnny. Just laid porcelain slabs from tops tiles & they are pushing the easy joint for them but I’m looking towards the easy grout. For some reason they don’t stock it for the porcelain slabs. I don’t know if there is a reason behind it. What one would u prefer yourself.

      Hi Stuart mate thanks for watching, try Mapei its really good or Larsnons and there is Bal and Ardex they all do exterior Grouts but follow the instructions to the letter mate, stay safe Johnyboy

      The easy joint is quicker. You literally soak the floor, tip out the product, make sure it's wet & sweep it into the joints. It's also permable to let water through & no mess. Used it myself to lay a patio this week & also work at Topps. Hope this helped someone

    I do this like grouting tiles I just put a little on the deck at a time and push it in the joints so it don't make much mess at all

    I've got 20mm thick porcelain slabs 60×90 being laid right now . I have 10mm joints.
    Do you recommend EasyGrout?
    I've got around 100m2 🤦🏻‍♂️

      Probably Flow point but you need to check 10 mm is very big

    I always find if you grout on a dry day, tape your joints then add the Easy Grout over the joints but try not to go over the tape, I'd normally use 2 or 3 inch thick tape either side so over all on both sides its wider than your float. Run your float over the top of the joint in one straight consistent swipe adding a bit of pressure, let it dry roughly 30-40 minutes then peel your tape. No mess and a lot lot quicker and less grout used. 👌😉 thank me later.

    Is hardcore aggregates wackered down and used as a base ideal before laying porcelain. I'm going to start my patio soon but want to know what you would use

      Hi Tome mate, hardcore is usually brick and concrete rubble, We are talking massively machine compaction I would blind it off with a leen mix concrete mate, always happy to talk, be safe mate

      Yes you can! but all grout seems to get dark in an exterior situation.

      Yeah, hard to get hold of at the moment. No stockist near me, and those that have stock either require you to already have an account or are saying they don’t deliver to my area (Stafford) because it’s too far away. 😟. Great Videos by the way.

      Good Morning, it will depend on a few factors, Access being the main one and what needs to be dug out, but its a good question as this is where a lot of contractors fall foul by working on a M2 pricing strategy which is used by so many, but there are simply to many Variables, Send me a picture my friend and I will See if I can help if you want?

      @@GreentopLandscapes Just ordered porcelain slabs for my garden and the guy told me to use this stuff when they are laid and watch your video as it's the best way to do it. I said I already watched it. Not so easy grout here we come 🤣
