For almost a decade now, the Toyota Fortuner has ruled the roost in the premium SUV category. In its second generation, the Toyota Fortuner has ditched the butch appeal and can now blend in the urban environment. However, do we need an SUV that looks sedate? This is the answer we got from Isuzu with the introduction of the MU-X. But, can the new entry challenge the undispited king of the premium SUV space. We pit the two against each other on and off the road to find just that out!

With the MUX what I like the most is the front passengers cup holders which located right in front of the aircon vent. Just put 600ml mineral water into that cup holder and in the long run you will have a nice icy cold water.. Good for long traffic jam .

i have the latest isuzu bluepower edition and its a very good suv.why buy an expensive one when you can purchase a cheaper car?fuel efficiency wise ISUZU MUX wins.the fortuner is fuel hungry.
One doesn’t find a difference if MU-X travels off-road or on road. It has much effective breaks and best of air conditioning.

it not 5 lakhs cheaper if you compare both automatic cars the isuzu mu x is almost 9 lakhs cheaper than the fortuner thats a lot cheaper. i have both the suvs the ride quality on the mux is much better than the fortuner.
I see the MU-X winning in the comments section but this surely isn't reflecting in the sales.

My father buyed mux Isuzu very good car and good pick up. And off road on road good running. And very comport for seats in sitting seven numbers and back side lot of space in bags. My car mux 4*4 price 31,25,542 road price.

MU-X is an prince, my parents bought it for 1,549,000 Million, it looks so sweet, it has wifi and bluetooth, IT HAS EVERYTHING! IT HAS AN ENTERTAINMENT SYSTHEM AN TV, AN COMFORTABLE SEAT, FANCY, MANY FUCKING THINGS!

Why are you comparing the price of manual & automatic ???? Try comparing both Automatic you can see a massive 8 - 9 lakhs difference
Very ametuerish video. The 5L difference is continuously being harped upon as if that is the main difference between the 2 SUVs. And offroading is not about driving fast through a mudpit. It is about steep inclines and declines, varied terrain like rocks and sand and slush, and about using the low range to conquer this without damage to the vehicle. What was the point of filming these cars jumping and drifting in a mud pit??

Not at least with This MU-x but for me Isuzu all the way. Fortuner still a brand hard to beat.if you are carzy about brand and service is your concern then Fortuner is for you. But for every thing else Isuzu MU-x.But with Mu-x I will have money to pay for Diesel for next 4-5 years I guess plus travel. Anyway both are two sides of coin which has certain value !
