Two days following a nine-car train derailment in downtown Augusta, Georgia shows a freshly paved 11th Street railroad crossing. The crossing signals were turned off while the workers cleaned up the derailment and have not yet been turned back on. Due to this, the freight train slows to a stop as a crew member hops off to put down some road flares. This train had its symbol changed from M693 because of a curfew on the Fitzgerald Sub.

Why didnt they just disconnect the rest of the train from the derailed one ???and move the train out of the way
They did
Cool catch!
Thanks!

So they haven’t turned the crossing on? They may have had to put in another relay case or something else.
Maybe, but I think they just turned it off so it wouldn’t be flashing for hours while they cleaned up the derailment.
@@neptunetrains oh I see
Anyone know where I can get a real CSX train horn?
