After about a 5 year hiatus, the CSX office car special made it's run to Augusta, GA for the Masters Golf Tournament. We first see CSX P001-04 passing through Beech Island, SC and crossing the Savannah River before coming into Augusta. We then see him passing through downtown Augusta as it heads to its resting spot for the week. Also note the other OCS trains parked for the week for the Masters.

Amazing video! Love when it’s rolling slower and you can see each car! Very cool!

Nice catch! Got him coming back south on the rear of Q693 which was an odd move.

For me, in this moment, BEST.VIDEO.EVER.
Notice the "Atlantic Coast Line" name showing through the weathering on the bridge. Nice!

That detailed Baltimore and Ohio scheme with the stripes. The F40s looked good in the standard CSX scheme, also. Back in the late 80s, they used F units for such trains. I think at least one of them was ex-Clinchfield.

The Clinchfield 800 happens to be one of the former classic CSX F units.

I live here and have never seen one of these before. Guess I pay trains no attention since the tracks are so close to the house.

Why aren't the ditch lights flashing at crossings? Red markers on the front of a moving train? Come on. Observation car bringing up the rear without its own marker light? What's going on here? Love the ACL painted on the trestle. Nice catch.

CSX1’s lights used to be wired automatically when it ran with two locomotives. This was to conserve power, so they had enough left over to make it up the grade in MA. However when CSX3 was introduced, they didnt need any power saving. 3 was enough, so they cut the wires. As i speak, they flash manually. You have to press a button now for them to flash. The marker lights are just a nice touch, not really meant to be on. The “Theater Car” on the rear, is basically a railcar with all the seats facing outward. The lights on the rear are on there so at night they can see

That's not kosher at all, using their business train for personal use; oh, that's right, they claim to be be wining and dinning potential or existing customers. Aren't the tax laws just great?
