    Thanks for the great series on these 2 bikes. I have owned a Forza 350 and was thinking of buying the xmax 300 and you have helped me to decide to buy one!

    How did you get the ABS to work on front only?? as far as I know the xmax is ABS front and back. (honda is front only i believe)

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      both bikes are duel channel abs. i guess what i should have said - i am going to apply front brake only or rear brake only but i did say both stoppers...lol
      so hes what i can say
      hitting both brake levers on the 300 xmax bought it down fairly quick. a hard hit on front brake and it appeared to still work fine
      a hard application on rear disc only and i experience abs shudder. this happened on both bikes xmax and faorza brake shudder from the abs working hard
      but final results on the braking the forza 350 was way ahead of the xmax300 in all areas of braking but not so in the suspension dept
      in fct i would be surprised at all if the forza 350 would outbrake my new 022 honda cb500x with twin front disc
      ive been on heaps of new motorcycles and the forza 350 set up could be the best so far

    That kind of great performance would come in handy for crazy city driving situations.

    G'day mate, that's a great test everyone should have to test a new Motorbike or scooter like that, l have with my new Royal Enfield 650 to test both front and back breaks and the ABS responds at different speeds, thanks for that,cheers Neil 🤠.

    What did you decide in the end? If you were going to be buy just one would it be the Yamaha or Honda?

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      honda has more power and better brakes but i think the yamaha has the better suspension for bumpy roads and better finish. actually very well put together and is a good $1000 cheaper too.
      i'd go yamaha but its a close call as i like the power and braking on the honda but can't have everything i suppose

    What I found interesting in that clip was that the Yamaha's transmission didn't let the engine rev to anywhere near the 9K redline, under what I assume was full throttle, where you would expect the engine to make maximum power. It kind of makes me wonder if that redline on the tachometer is there more for looks than to provide useful information regarding the stress being placed on the engine.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      i bet if i fitted smaller rollers/sliders it would liven it up more and get it further up the rev scale....lol

    Which one would you choose overall if you must, which one is the better buy? The Honda or the Yamaha?

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว

      honda has the power on tap and the yamaha has the better suspension on rough sections of road.
      if all your riding is on smooth roads the honda is very hard to beat but on rough surfaces yamaha rides bumps the best.
      these clips show exactly what i mean when i put scooters over rough roads
      so its a very hard call. its either power against ride quailty so that would be the best i can answer.

      honda was quicker to 100 kph and better brakes. since this test i sold both scooters. thought it over and it was a mistake.

      @@ridewithwarro yeah thanks, Ive watched them all, i enjoyed them allot, very informative, thank you. What do you mean when you say "thought it over and it was a mistake." ? I will be buying one within next few months i'm currently leaning toward the Forza, im hoping to test ride them both before i buy (UK).

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ryanfuller2744 i sold both scooter and if you watch all these reviews you hear me say several times the xmax is the better scooter.
      after selling both as there was very little interest in the comparison as view were a pathetic 2000 per clip i bought 2 new motorcycles.
      after riding them i thought it over and missed the scooter experience so i bought another.
      i said in the testing the xmax was the best!
      i bought just that...an xmax and to get to that result cost me the $$$ involved selling both new scooters. buying another xmax and having it transported 1000 klm
      total expense selling and rebuying was a loss of $7000 plus $10000 to buy another one
      you may get to test ride one for free but that wont help much. just remember ive given you the answer and it cost me $7000 to give it to you.
      xmax is the better scooter!
