I had a new xmax 300 in Ireland cavan the country Rd are pretty rough, I did find the rear shocks a bit bouncy or rough Rd, but setting the springs rate makes a big difference, I was thinking of buying a new forza 350,to replace the xmax ,but now I think maybe I should have kept the xmax as it was very easy on fuel and light to ride ,I am looking forward to how you compare the forza 350 on the rough rds against the xmax 😁

well should you stay tuned apart from this test i go onto handling side through a few bends/steep hill climbs/panic stops from 80 kph/ 0 to 100 kph and back to 0/ front brakes only/rear brakes only/ engaging traction control with slippage/100 kph cruising/ so pretty involved.
test has really just started here. all the best!

@@ridewithwarro Hello and well done for all your efforts and testing! Please let me know if you have evaluated the below two differences.
Xmax - 300 - Up side down front suspension (like motocycles)
Forza 350 - Normal front suspension
      Xmax 300 - front 2 tripple clamps
      Forza 350 - front 1 tripple clamp
Both characteristics are known to offer a better and more steady riding experience while handling is also better ?!?
      Please enlighten us !!
Thank you and keep up the good work

Suspension does not seem to exist for most scoot road testers, virtually no-one comments on it's performance. So nice work Warro, lots of secondary roads like these in Australia even some main ones away from the capital cities.

Even before we see the forza on th e rough roads, it seems the Yamaha is better. Have you seen the new Honda adv350? Show a suspension and semi off road tyres on a forza basically..

what i can say at this stage -both bikes have their faults. ref to the forza 350 adv - i think it looks a pretty neat scoot really. no news so far if it will hit Aust or not.

Isn't it nice for your local road department to leave sections of rough pavement around for vehicle owners to be able to test their suspensions. lol The Yamaha seems to be dealing with that poorly patched pavement quite well.

Does a person need to know how to use a clutch in order to take the ride test? I HOPE NOT!! The whole reason why i want to ride, is because there are 150-300cc scooters out there that have no clutch, that can go highway speeds! To me thats what makes it exciting to want to ride a bike. A clutch is a huge turn off for me!
    >I do not want to learn how to use a clutch, and I do want my motorcycle endorsement!<
If a clutch is the only thing that existed on a bike, I would never be interested in wanting to ride. But the times have dramatically changed! Now there are so many CVT bikes that is becoming a very big category within the motorcycle arena. I have seen so many youtube videos, and there are a ton of new riders out there that want absolutely nothing to do with a clutch bike! And I’m the same way! Why would we want to take a test at the DMV on a 500cc clutch bike, when that is not even a bike that we are not interesting in owning!!!??
All I want is a scooter that is 150-300cc. And Honda & Yamaha has a lot of great options! In Minnesota, a scooter that size is considered an actual motorcycle. According to Minnesota laws. Which means I should be able to test on that scooter as well, in order to get my motorcycle endorsement.
Are the DMV laws out of date for new riders???

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

nothing wrong with twist and go on a scooter. thats why i bought two. now on an outright clutch style motorcycle...its a disappointment without the clutch and gear experience and takes away the full ride experience.
sure you can do it but the thrill isnt there.
years back i had a ford xygt car in manual -the car in auto might look the same but its not -its lost the thrill of the drive.
