I knew that right away it is 28HP. Thanks for clarifying for new readers. I bought mine new in 2019 and have always been amazed how powerful and smooth it runs even in windy conditions, this bike rides great! It pulls my wife & I over steep mountain passes in Oregon effortlessly. We bring it in our toy-hauler on some trips knowing we will explore. I just sold my 2020 Yamaha V-Max that had less than 1,700 miles on it, It was an amazingly strong Muscle Cruiser, but my wife was not interested in riding on the Beast, LOL. My advice to anyone looking to purchase a smaller bike? the 300 X-Max is amazing and has so much reliability for the future.
@@bigdh2os814 thanx bud I will definitely keep what you said in mind for when I plan on buying myself one of these things because I live in Canada and are they fast or quick and one more thing I want to know are they very easy to modify
@@nigelmcclure6440 I'm not sure if mods are easy or not? Mine is stock and it will stay that way for this old fart. LOL. But it is quite quick & can leave a light faster than most drivers do. Top speed is about 88 mph on indicator but I believe real life numbers is closer to low 80's If feels like it will run all day long at 65. Hope this helps.
I have a 2019 model. Its brilliant. Took it on a 4 day tour of about 500kms per day. Managed to get all my kit in the seat. No back pack or topbox. Commute daily with it. Take the missus for coffee. Very versatile and practical
They really are lovely. I'd never ridden a scooter before but recently hired one out for a week to tour around Madeira and fell in love with the simplicity and performance of it so much I'm selling my Tiger 800 and have ordered the new 2023 model.
My experience so far with x max 300 (2022 model). In short - brilliant city commuter, very smooth and agile, loads of storage. CVT takes getting used to (I used to ride geared motorcycles), so you need to twist it hard when taking off. Cruising is a pleasure, with bike being the most enjoyable between 40 and 90 km/h. The fuel consumption is absolute joke, with average being at 2.8 L/100km, no matter how you ride it. The range is also sublime, with 400+ km from one tank easily. Breaks are good, stability on the road is good, with ride being slightly harsh on poor Montenegrin pavements. Stock Michelin City Grip tyres are very good, also in wet weather. I am fairly average guy size wise - 173cm and 80kg - and I can almost flat foot it. That being said, the bike is quite wide down low, so someone bit taller than me will find it easier to manage. The weight is manageable and kept really low. I had to move the windshield to higher position, in order to stay comfortable up to speeds of 80-90km/h. Above these speeds, the buffeting and vibrations in helmet start to wear you down. The windshield is protecting my torso from rain, with helmet and shoulders being exposed. I even did touring with my girlfriend, on the Croatian coastline - 100km stints without break were absolutely fine, with motor pulling nicely. Of course, you need to be sensible with overtaking and breaking, bearing in mind increased weight and longer stopping distance. The seat is spacious and comfortable (also for pillion), but feet-forward position contributes to your back taking more load than on regular bike - something to bear in mind on longer trips. There is no option to ‘stretch’ on the pegs. Pillion comfort is also good, with spacious seat and sturdy grab rails. A bit more difficult to manage the bike at very low speeds, with CVT requiring a solid twist before it engages; back brake engagement helps with slow speed manoeuvres. Under-seat storage is great, but it won’t fit two full face helmets (as advertised). My Shoei L-size GT Air II barely fits on the ‘higher’ space under seat. While touring, we managed to squeeze two rucksacks under seat and few smaller items. My previous bike was MT 07, and while down on power significantly, I really like and enjoy little x max 300. Very good value for money + good resale prices.
Thanks for your review, however theres a few stuff I wouldn't agree about with you, X-max is very easy to handle in low speeds ,i did 100-110km/h on highway flawlessly with no vibrations or wind buffeting, ofcourse it also depends on the weather, also true it doesn't hold 2 full face helmets but add an givi 43l topcase and the underseat space and you can get groceries for 1-2 weeks ( i do it all the time ) , me and my gf did 400km one way trips to austria and 400km back, only had 2 stops between each, if you have back pain on longer tours please check your rear suspension, you can adjust it to the softest with the key that came along with the bike the difference is huge, also when getting new tires it gets more comfy, and the last thing,it's not true that fuel consumption doesn't change, when touring 300-400km and you are fully loaded with pillion and underseat/suitcase,it goes from 2.9l to 3.5l/100km,also the fuel consumption is higher in winter,it's 3.2-3.3l / 100km normal commuting
Rode my 2023 to Ruidoso NM. There and back about 1600 miles from Paris Arkansas. It is comfortable and cruises easily at highway speeds. I'm 84 years old.s
This is a great scoot ! I have owned many motorcycles since 1964, and this is my third scoot. They are SO practical & comfortable, with a good turn of speed to overtake, and excellent brakes. I previously had a Kymco X-citing 400, which had more bite to the brakes, and more leg room ( I'm 1.83 ) BUT, only possible to store 1 helmet under the seat. Personally I hate those big pizza boxes people fit to the rear of bikes and scoots, but with this we can ride into town, park anywhere ( in Spain ! ) and walk away, looking like normal people. This is also much improved over the X-max 250, which I also owned. The only criticism people can make is, it's expensive, but, as Mr Royce said, " long after the price is forgotten, the quality remains" Buy one !
@@markpulling12 You're welcome. I don't understand why scooters aren't popular in the uk ? Here, you look at the bike park in town and 8/9 out of ten are scoots. With the weather protection they offer + comfort, storage and ease of use, why aren't there more scooters in the UK ?

JUST BOUGHT A 2021 XMAX 300. MY SON WENT PICKED IT UP ABOUT 230MILES AWAY. LEFT TOWN TO GO TO MY SUMMER HOME IN Destin Fl., so cant wait to get back to go and give it a try!! Im almost 70yrs old and sill have a 2018 honda goldwing and a dyna wide glide harley great review , thanks
Picked up my 2023 on wednesday. The mirrors are BRILLIANT. Best ive ever had on a bike. Id forgotten what having a screen or fairing felt like. The comfort is bloody good after a Z900 (loved it. Cant ride it any more sadly.) The performance is pretty damn good. I fell in love with scooters in thailand. Sooo much fun. So far Im loving it.
Great review! I ride a 2020 Xmax 300 and it IS fun, like you say! Before I rode allroad bikes (Kawa KLE500, Suzuki V-Strom) and I thought maxi scooters were boring, but I'm really happy with the Xmax. It's fun touring, handy commuting, comfy on the motorway AND it's cheap on petrol consumption! If you're looking for a bike to use for everything, all year round, including shopping, this is your best buy. Greetings from The Netherlands!
I have a 2020 Xmax here in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I endorse everything you say about this scooter. We do a lot of very twisty hilly riding here, and the other riders on Triumphs, Ducati’s, bigger Hondas and Yamahas are impressed with the fact that I can hold on to them pretty well in the twisty bits, but of course their sheer performance means that they can get away on the straights a bit. Handling is very good, it really is a sporting machine, and as you say, very smooth and comfortable. When the Covid thing dies down a bit, we are going to do some touring around Thailand with it.I am hugely impressed and just love riding it, even around the city.
@@anthonydowling3356 Have been up to Pai many times but not on the Xmax yet. We are going on road 1252 this Friday, old road to Phayao, and that is tighter, more narrow and subject landslides and road collapse. Since their has been rain in the area, this could be interesting.
Mark, thanks for all your reviews. They are very informative. I am picking up my brand new XMAX300 Tech Max tomorrow and your review (which I have watched several times) plus the ones for similar maxi/midi scooters have helped my decision process a lot. Keep up the good work. I even enjoy the reviews of motorbikes I am never likely to purchase but your style is very engaging.
The XMAX 300 hits the sweet spot for daily usability, decent fuel economy, tech, sporty fun, and outstanding real-world performance. I love my three-year old machine.
Sold my 1100 africa twin and bought this scooter, totally delighted, no more cold wet shoes and legs, easy, fast, reliable, economical and good looking with amazing storage. Will maybe buy one day a secondhand cheap motorcycle if I miss more power for the odd summer days but will never ever leave the maxi scooter space, this is so very practical and fun.
Just picked up mine yesterday here in Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 We don’t have the Tech version here. I added the Akrapovic, footplates, front sports screen. I love it 😍🇦🇺🥇❤️ Great review
I watched all the videos on the Xmax300 before buying it, and mine was coming in the dark petrol colour, but I changed my order after this video, funny thing I was born in Dorset Sherborne, but I've been living in Andorra for the last 32 years, thanks Mark for your very detailed and realistic videos 👍👍👌
A key point for the Yamaha worthy of noting, the front forks are the motorcycle design, the fork legs are long, they are clamped by an upper steering stem yoke, a lower steering stem yoke and then the front wheel axle, this makes a good strong structure resistant to flexing and the front wheel is stable and responsive to the handlebars, the steering response should be very direct, Suzuki Burgman 400 and Honda Forza 350 do not share the motorcycle forks of the Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki have bicycle design forks, short forks clamped to the lower steering stem yoke and the frontwheel axle. If you test a Honda or Suzuki please bear in mind the above when reporting on high speed driving and general stability.
Hi Mark, after ten years and 30k miles, in may, I sold my xmax250 to a frenchman from manchester. Didnt think anything of it. 3 days later he whats apped me from Marseille!!!!!! He’d ridden a14yr old scooter with 40k on 1000 miles. These are quality pieces of kit. I did hav3 a go on a 530 in Spain. Very quick. There is a vlog on one chasing a honda blackbird through the mountains. The scooter was never out of the blackbirds mirrors.
Have to admit that the xmax 300 looks like a very robust and reliable machine - oozes quality and is very economical - thanks for the review - one hundred times more informative than anything by TMF
had a Piaggio Beverly 300 before and a Honda Forza 350. Very good review...best on the channel especially the reference to the driver size.I´m 6 feet and pleased to have confirmed again that I´m cool. Ordered the bike for Juli and feel even better about it. Thx bro.
34ish BHP from a 300cc engine is impressive. I have a 250cc Helix that is rated at 17hp. That extra power probable provides some comfort when on faster roads.
Hi Tim ..it's actually 28 hp my mistake doing research on the bike but it's the fastest in it's class ...it's performance is really impressive Cheers mark
So I can’t tell you how many times I have watched this video. Being across the Atlantic in the colonies, I didn’t think this was available here. We get very few scooters in the American market. Surprisingly, there is one at a dealership just over a hundred miles from me. You mentioned the Burgman 400. I bought one new in ‘09 or ‘07 (can’t quite recall anymore). Looking back, it was a great scooter and I regret selling it. This Xmas is almost three thousand dollars less than a new Burgman. This means a nice used Burgman can sell for very close to the new price of an Xmax. It makes the Xmax very attractive. Thanks for a great video. I am sure I will be watching it again!
Appreciate the review, really helped me decide between this and a Honda. Just test drove a 2022 and liked it a lot more than the Reflex I used to ride. Power for days and the ride was smooth. You helped me solidify my choice!!
A 300cc scooter which will cruise at 70 mph all day long, with 80mpg economy and huge storage, nice and modern too. Light, big wheels, smooth engine, what's not to like? I've got a Mk 2 Burgman 400 and it's a great scoot but is 30kgs heavier than this and far less power and economy. Scooters are just getting better all the time. Id have one of these in a flash. Great video once again Mark, many thanks.
Thanks a lot for a video, it's not easy to find really good content about scooters. I'm riding Honda PCX150 now and looking for an upgrade, so Xmax 300 is very likely to be my next scooter.
The screen does move up 50mm , You can either have it in only 2 positions(lower or higher). 5 min job and you use the supplied tool kit. There is lots of aftermarket parts, mine is Black with Gold wheels, looks good and goes great.
Great review. Had my Xmax here in Thailand for 2 years now. "Toured" it up with a back rack/top box, front LED spotlights and static mirrors that fix from underneath the windscreen so as to have more peripheral vision. Love it!
I had the 2017 version & I loved it,great for getting around town & doing a decent shop or for going on a Sunday blast,I dont think it'll do 95 but 85 yes,but happy at around 70 as you mentioned, servicing was every 3000 & yes it was lovely & smooth no clanging chains to deal with, yes I miss it
Im 5 7 and fits well. Ran one when commuting in london. Also did a week long tour on previous version. From london, to norfolk, up east coast, up to yorkshire dales, peak district and back. It tours very well, but you do get a lot of odd looks from drivers and bikers alike when riding at 80+ lol
@@markpulling12 does it feel stable going above 80mph ? i had a 125 aprilia max scooter many years ago and it didn't feel very safe going 70mph and this 300 doesn't look much bigger
Good looking, dynamic, perfect for all around drives, enormous luggage compartment, quality built, fuel consumption is a joke, comfortable seat, requires higher windshield or top add on for longer rides and transfer of mirrors to the front with Ali kit for folding them in tight traffic, plenty of upgrade stuff available. Perfect for what is made for.
Just tried yesterday here in Indonesia, it's a 250 cc here, very huge difference with my Xmax 155 that I'm driving actually, going to buy it, only 3600 E here
By far the best motorcycle channel on TH-cam. I am considering a maxi scooter, but I am really unsure what to get. I like the T Max , but I can justify the price. The Xmax seems to be a good choice.
@@markpulling12 Thank you for the advice. I've watched your video on the Yamaha Niken and there some very good deals to be had on a new one. Way more than I need, but the price is very tempting.
I rode my first maxi scooter ever last night; a Suzuki Burgman. I was absolutely shocked at how comfortable it was. The fairing worked so well. I got caught in a downpour and all I felt was a little dampness on my shoulders when I was done riding. I’m looking at the Yamaha XMax as it is $2000 less than the Burgman. But ultimately I don’t think you can go wrong with either of those models.
I have 19 model. As well as interceptor and couple of bullets. As a practical machine it is best bike I ve ever owned. Including a few bmw.s. practical. Relaxing. Handles well. Superb, and I mean superb smoothness on and off throttle unlike lots of modern bikes. I get 100 to 108mpg. Riding legal. Mate has one and he rides harder and still gets 95mpg.
Hi zed do you think there is a noticeable difference between 2018/19 and 2021/22 models? Thinking of buying pre owned with some kms on it. Discount is around 1/6th of the new price.
@@MateiRadulescu1 The 300 forks are superior. I found on 250 if you hit a bad hole it would crash through bars harshly. The 300 is not harsh at all although obviously you do still feel the bumps. Highly recommended.
I have the 125 and its identical same lid and seat open aswell as petrol exact same seat storage also has traction control system its identical except it has 175cc less than this one but i think xmaxs are the best 125s and personally i plan on keeping the 125 as i deem 300s ans 400s more dangerous but will eventually switch to bigger bikes but the xmax 125 is a perfect commuter bike reaching 70mph top speed staying within legal limits even on motorways

I keep returning to this review, but I wasn't sure why. I have just realised it is because you said it is fun to ride. I'm considering a scooter now, mainly because of my age. I have been regarding it as a compromise, perhaps as a retrogressive move. Now I can see it in a more positive way. Thanks.
Mark does the best motorcycle reviews. I really like this scooter. Might consider getting one. Not sure if this would be my only bike but it seems with a decent cruising speed it could be. Would like to take one for a demo.

@@markpulling12 hey Mark - I got the scooter…the one you test rode, had the screen been moved to the higher position? Just regarding your feedback about helmet noise.
Do the turn signals produce any audible sounds? During the day, I find myself forgetting to cancel them at times with my GS-500 since there's no noise or audible indicator, unlike my Ruckus scooter with the clicking relay.
Hi, great video. Which one would you prefer: XMAX 300 techmax or ADV350 from Honda? Honda is 10 cm wider, which might matter in the city traffic while driving between the cars. What’s your opinion?
I bought this exact same bike and colour in 2022,had it come and fitted ollins rear suspension, orginal tail tidy kit, sports front screen, akrapovic black pipe, end cost was just a touch over 8000€,abousulutly love it, go t it wet just twice cause the weather caught me out, I only clean it with a damp cloth, My bike is the power grey one, which if you want in the 2023 model it's discontinued 😂🤣
Guys, would it fit a taller rider, like 193 cm (6'3) ? I really like the ADV 350, which fits me well, but I am looking for alternatives as well. Why I am asking this is because the Forza 350, for instance, felt a bit narrow in the legs space, mostly due to the windshield joystick under the left grip, which was touching my knee when turning left. Thanks!
I definately think the new 300 is overall better than the recent 400. I have the 400 and love it. But with engine improvements I think that puts it above the 400. Cleaner more efficient engine and the lighter weight, better fuel economy so yeah. Think its the clear winner.
@@markpulling12 i went from a gilera st200 to the 400. I didn't feel a 300 was a big enough jump and I got it as a new second hand (700 miles on it) and cheaper than the 300 model new. So glad I moved to yamaha. Brilliant bikes and build quality and reliability is unmatched.
How would you compare the rear suspension to the one on adv350 you recently reviewed? I found an opinion that it's firm and bad on bumpy roads. And which one would you choose?
Many thanks for your reviews! I've heard the Xmax 300 is smoother than the Forza 350 on cobbled surfaces, and the design is great. The Forza's electronically-adjustable screen is a nice advantage for it. Which scooter would you choose, if you had to pick one?
Hi though choice because the xmax is rapid :). But I'd go for the Honda just because I like that electric screen so much and it still does about 85/90 mph Cheers mark
Hello from the States! Nice review. Hopefully you can review the C400 GT as these two scooters are on my short list. Neither the Yamaha or BMW has hit our shores yet.
My tricity 300cc has done just shy of 92 mpg, I filled the tank and ran it dry doing a 260 miles on 13 litres Ave said 95 mpg obviously a little bit out. Normal mpg is around the 80's
Hi Mark I have this scooter and a 2019 T120. A truly outstanding scooter this is. Actually I wouldn’t mind if the brakes were a tad stronger. And yes 1 more inch in the screen height would be good. Yes I if I had the money the TMAx 560 that would be heaven. But really this scooter is so effortless and even on a long trip. Regards. Auckland. NZ
I have this 2021 model and I love it and yes it is fast motorways are know problem. Good on petrol. I go touring on it when I have time and will surprise you as some of the problems I had on other bikes I don’t have with this on long rides, super comfortable. The one thing I will say about it is, why didn’t Yamaha put mirrors on it that can be extended as the standard mirrors was no good as I could only see my arms and nothing else so that is a bad point and for the price of the bike should be better. I did get the MT09 mirrors put them on and added the extenders on works great. But them mirrors should be on the bike as standard so people can see behind them, and to extend if needed. Thanks again ride safe people.
Xmax 2021 euro5 is very slow compare to xmax euro4. Why is that does anyone know? Lambda sonda used to be on head of pipe now is on exhoust, is it bcs of that?

@@markpulling12 I’m in the market for a scooter as a second bike and would value your opinions. I’ve test rode all of them including c400x, the Yamaha and Honda. Like the c400x just right amount of power and quality, however, once you add extras, that the others have as standard, it become way too expensive. The forza and xmax where very similar. New forza a little quicker since update to 350 but the xmax looks better in my opinion. Price similar. I need another ride on both before I decide. Great reviews, always appreciated.
@@markpulling12 thanks. These are the two reasons why I'm having such a hard time deciding. I really like the xmax but the extra torque and especially the electric screen are making it difficult.
Hi Mark , great review as normal , thanking you . You say this scooter has 34 HP , is that in the model you are testing ? Or is the late 21 - early 22 models now all 34 HP ? as the 21 standard models here in Australia are 28 HP , Take care mate .
I've tested recently. What I like: engine, acceleration, fuel consumption (I had 2.6l... 2.4l possible). What I do not like: very weak brakes, not comfy seat (yamaha logo stamped my back, not enough place for legs... I'm 185), too gentle blinks switch, HARD suspension. I'd like to know if there's some trick to improve brakes efficiency.
I tested the latest Xmax 300 and the new 2021 Honda 350 forza on the same day, and I'm 1m90 tall. The Xmax seat I found was uncomfortable, rear suspension hard, engine a bit rough when rolling off the gas and lastly too expensive. The Honda Forza 350 I found way better, very smooth strong engine, the seat was much more comfortable, the suspension and handling way better when I upped the pace through a series of fast bends, brakes good, avoided hitting furry animals crossing in front of me, and lastly the Honda is less expensive so i went out and ordered one in blue.
I ask all the dealers about a practical around the towner but they point me to some 800cc+ beast of a motorcycle that isn't even comfortable. Im gonna try out the Honda ADV150 as well as this much more capable and comfortable looking machine. thanks for the look, chief. Can't wait to become 'that scooter guy' in my town 🤙
Yamaha have a thing of making wide seats that can be uncomfortable around town when weaving through traffic. Also can unbalance you when parking/taking it off the stand in uneven ground.
Initially wanna get adv 350, even placed deposit, but since I got into accident with my aerox and cannot afford to keep waiting for the adv 350 which is unknown when will be available... I was offered to get a new 2022 normal xmax. Ride is good, engine noise I think is not as loud as adv 350, also the price is much much cheaper. Fuel consumption I think is also better and without losing power to the adv 350. Good bike

Great comment many thanks 😊
I'm 84 years old.s
does it make to buy a smaller scooter if I plan to ride 90% city and 10% highway?

Thanks for the feedback Garth :)
@@markpulling12 You're welcome. I don't understand why scooters aren't popular in the uk ? Here, you look at the bike park in town and 8/9 out of ten are scoots. With the weather protection they offer + comfort, storage and ease of use, why aren't there more scooters in the UK ?

Picked up my 2023 on wednesday.
The mirrors are BRILLIANT. Best ive ever had on a bike.
Id forgotten what having a screen or fairing felt like.
The comfort is bloody good after a Z900 (loved it. Cant ride it any more sadly.)
The performance is pretty damn good.
Many thanks corien :)
I’m thinking the same thing, this Xmax 300 can do it all!!
Sounds fantastic where you are Paul

Sold my 1100 africa twin and bought this scooter, totally delighted, no more cold wet shoes and legs, easy, fast, reliable, economical and good looking with amazing storage.
If you test a Honda or Suzuki please bear in mind the above when reporting on high speed driving and general stability.
hello, thanks for your insight. am grappling over the SYM 300, honda pcx and this yamaha
Doesn't matter, the rear setup will make it squirelly.

Power for
days and the ride was smooth. You helped me solidify my choice!!
Many thanks.... cheers mark

Obviously, although it wasn't shown, there must be a petrol filler somewhere. Is it lockable?
It's between the legs black flap ... lockable operating from the keyless switch system

Salut, I saw heated grips on this tech max, and I would like to install them on my 2021 max 300. How I can do it?
Xmax 2021 euro5 is very slow compare to xmax euro4.
Why is that does anyone know?
Lambda sonda used to be on head of pipe now is on exhoust, is it bcs of that?
This is one of the bikes was in my choice options.. XMAX 300 and ADV 350... Commented on your forza 350 review that what made me went to place deposit not only your detailed reviews and cos of our height & weight same👍
Thanks again Mark
Thanks again Keith my pleasure 😊
Hi
Great review on the scooter
I have the 400 x max really nice scooter can I just add the front wind screen does adjust to a higher setting this is done manually also you can adjust the rake of the handlebar again done manually
Look forward to your next review
Mike in good old Yorkshire
Thanks Mike ... someone already beat you to it in telling me about the screen ....these maxi scoots are brilliant ... hopefully trying the Honda Forza 350 soon :)
Man I've had 650cc cruisers and sports bikes, but I'm really tempted to trade my current bike in for this scooter. I like the touring capabilities of this motorcycle scooter and it has a lot of features that you would have to spend a lot more on a cruiser to have.
Thanks for the comment Darren ...one of the best scooters out there cheers mark
For touring I totally recommend the Kymco Xtown 300. but for city stuff the Yamaha ......Ive owned both.
great review, thank you. two things I would like to know is size of under seat storage in liters. and what is the max weight it can carry. Plus what is the up front storage and can you lick them
It's 28 Horespower, yes it will cruise at around 70 mph no problem but 100 mph i would not advise it.
Thanks for the update :)
Going to look at a 2022 tomorrow. Very good review sir!
Thanks Patrick 😊
Not sure you’ve got the bhp correct?
But another nice review, enjoy the way you present
@@applecorp yep my mistake guys i misread it as 26 kw ...its 20.6 kw !! duh
@@markpulling12 have you tried the new forza 350 for comparison?
@@kevinwinkle9917 no not yet Kevin ...I'll start doing Hondas later this year :)
@@kevinwinkle9917 out of them all I'd go xmax 300 looks the best to me and fast for 290 ish cc
Cheers mark
I want to get a max scooter soon but I'm divided between the Xmax 300 or the Honda Forza 350. Any advice or help appreciated...
The xmax is a tiny bit faster ...but I preferred the electric screen and the extra torque of the honda
Cheers mark
@@markpulling12 thanks. These are the two reasons why I'm having such a hard time deciding. I really like the xmax but the extra torque and especially the electric screen are making it difficult.
Why no turn signals in front? And what are those ears for beside the windshield?
Hi jerry ... indicators are there somewhere built in to the fairing and the ears are hand guards or wind protection
Cheers mark
In your opinion Which is better the xmax 300 or the Honda ADV 350 I'm finding hard to choose.
Hi Stuart I'd go adv it's got better suspension for our bumpy roads,:)
Cheers mate, keep up with the great videos 📹
Greeting from xmax250 jakarta .... i have it from 2018 and have zero problem.so far...😊😊😊
Thanks for the update
Greetings to Jakarta !!
Hi Mark , great review as normal , thanking you . You say this scooter has 34 HP , is that in the model you are testing ? Or is the late 21 - early 22 models now all 34 HP ? as the 21 standard models here in Australia are 28 HP ,
Take care mate .
No my mistake Brett I converted the kw wrongly it is 28 hp . cheers mark
How is passenger seat comfort over big bumps does it bottom out with a jolt with the jolt
Hi these are very comfortable for a passenger..the suspension has preload adjustment so it doesn't bottom out
Best regards mark
I've tested recently. What I like: engine, acceleration, fuel consumption (I had 2.6l... 2.4l possible). What I do not like: very weak brakes, not comfy seat (yamaha logo stamped my back, not enough place for legs... I'm 185), too gentle blinks switch, HARD suspension. I'd like to know if there's some trick to improve brakes efficiency.
To improve brakes ( bite ) try sintered pads.
@@BG-en4ls Thak u. I have to try Forza. Sad that they make this scooters in Asian people sizes.
Spot on assesment. The brakes are actually bordering on dangerous.Full brake upgrade is a must IMHO.
Good bike
anyone have a kit to put the mirrors out on the windshield like the Nmax ?
Hi.Mark, l was recently looking at the max 600 ( never thought l would be looking at a scooter) and that’s got some go for a scooter, but at a staggering £14.000 this looks a more reasonable price!
Hi, you never mentioned if the screen was adjustable or not as if it adjusts higher it might stop noise around your helmet.
