Whoa!!! Don’t quit this one. I was tempted a couple of times in the first third part of the workout. It is slow and it is challenging. I had my beastmode playlist on in the beginning but changed to a mellower one and found that i tuned inwards a bit more - which was perfect for me this morning. The hydrants and hip lifts did me in. I have tight hips. The finisher came sooner than expected and was the toughest one so far. The stretches gave me back life and restored me. CG you are the best. Enjoy peeps.
Fantastic Bianca! And yes those hydrant circles and side leg lifts are a movement we don’t perform day to day in general life so challenging to perform! I’m watching my weather app for a good walk for active rest day as it’s so cold but sunny so just lovely! Cx
Yes this was rough, almost gave up a couple of times as well…that finisher😱😰 ouch - the leg lifts were killer. Great workout as usual though, but glutes always takes all my willpower😅

Fantastic workout as always! I cannot believe that at almost 50 I have the best peachy glutes of my life! And I’m becoming strong … managing single leg hip thrusts as a boss (at times I even do weighted single leg hip thrusts!!) Caroline you are the best trainer ever!

Whew I’m sore like when I first started EPIC 1 a year ago! This is the best possible way to start the year. It’s putting me back into a zone of focus and determination for my all around life. Thank you Caroline. A year in and you honestly have changed not just my body and muscles but my structure to a daily routine and confidence for every area of life.
Wow, wow, and wow! I have trained my glutes in evert conceivable way, including heavy gym lifting and functional bodyweight style, but CG’s glute workouts always challenge me! This one was particularly a killer, super sore today and my glutes don’t get sore that frequently
I love glutes workout because the intensity depends on yourself… As Caroline says, it’s only as challenging as we decide to do it! We are going to work hard 🥵 and ONLY the glutes ! Legs still sore from Monday but let’s go!!💪🏼

Morning Caroline! Morning everyone! Despite taking all of Caroline's advice to avoid lower back issues, I still had trouble with my lower back, so I pulled out my stability ball and that made a huge difference. So if anyone else out there has lower back issues, use a ball if you have one instead of the chair. And if you have balancing issues on a ball, just prop it against a stable chair or sofa. My glutes are on fire! Thank you Caroline for being so epic yourself! Have a lovely day, everyone!

What a superb workout! I love working glutes and this 40 minute session had everything! The finisher was really challenging but fun to push on through the reps! Then I dud the add on with 3 kg ankle weights...and at the end my glutes had worked so hard I literally found it difficult to walk! Another brilliant workout, Caroline! Thank you! Matthew

I think I might need more glute specific workouts because I really felt strong and good during the leg day and the upper body workout but this one was almost killing me. Very intense! I loved the finisher!!! Thank you Caroline for these amazing workouts!! I wake up every single morning looking forward to the next workout and I always feel amazing and ready for the day after it!!

I have been repeating this workout once a week for 5 weeks now, the first time I couldn't finish the three-minute stints of hip thrusts with the 25 kg, and now I am close to completing the entire workout, every single rep. I have been working out for years and wanted a change from my heavy lifting routine, this is just as challenging if not more! I recommend you keep this workout in your rotation and see if you can get better each time, it's a great way to gauge your progressive overload. I am thankful these workouts are free and so well thought out.
Caroline, I believe you made a big impact on our lives, at least to me. First thing in the morning is to check today´s workout, it becomes a habit and we are only at day 3. You work so hard, it´s really impressing! Thank you for everything!
Who else crawled from one complex location to the next?!!🤣🤭🙋🏼♀️ What a burner! 🔥🔥 Parts of the workout flew by..parts seemed like time was standing still.😆But I still enjoyed the workout as a whole. The complexes were layed out great and I liked how we changed positions following each of them. The hip thrusts without the band, I honestly struggle with feeling it in the glutes..I know they are working but I feel it more in the quads. So I always love using the band, shuts off my quads more. I am getting a lot better at those one legged hip thrusts tho..day by day😁! That finisher was amazing to conquer. My legs struggled to hold that band out by the end but I did it! 👊🏻 Day 3 officially smashed!! Thanks Caroline. See you next time!
I also struggle to activate my glutes without the band. I was never able to activate my glutes at all prior to caroline and her tips. Now it's rather enjoyable to actually feel the glutes fire when working on them, but when I take the band off my low back takes over and my glutes don't fire. The tip before today's session about keeping the back flat and not letting the lower back arch really helped because I would always tip my pelvis at the top to get that extra reach, but that motion also makes my low back arch. Explains why hip thrusts always end up aggravating my low back.. but not today! I tend to use the band and alter exercises like the single leg work to keep my glutes under fire. Big Thanks to Caroline for teaching me the proper form to fix activation issues!

@@abril9875 I don't have a schedule or anything; it really depends on how I'm feeling. I aim to run at least a mile every day. Some days I run 6+ miles (I don't strength train on these days) but other days I only do a mile or two. I also often run before and after workouts as a warm up/finisher. I would definitely recommend taking it slow at first and experimenting to find a balance between strength training and running. Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy running!

And overtime you improve on how you connect through those small tweaks to your stance, ability to fully extend the hips during thrusts and overall body awareness during these types of exercises! One of my favourite parts of glutes workouts is the measurable increase of temperature in my muscles after finishing! It's just a reflection of how intense the session was! Loved it today! Thanks, Caroline!

OH MY GOODNESS! Caroline, thank you for taking my input into consideration and adding the Sumo Squats and Deadlifts to today's workout! 😍😍😍 My glutes were already sore from Monday's squats and lunges - today the burn was on another level! Gonna do a good stretch tomorrow and be back ready to send it on Friday!

It's the second time that I burst in tears when finishing your workout. I don't know how, but I finished it. Still struggling with my eating disorder, depression and endometriosis, but I'm determined to decide what is the best way to become a stronger, healthier person. All of it because of you. I rarely comment but I have to say this was so tough mentally but rewarding to finish! I was a little bit scared of the 100 reps finishers when I was reading the program at the beginning of the week but they are my favorite part of this Epic so far!! after doing 3 Epic programs, I can't believe how much stronger I have gotten. This may ver well be my favorite glute workout. I hate them and usually avoid them because the are full of hip thrusts. This one was challenging and had variety which I really appreciate it. Probably going to be my go to workout for glute days.
What I am loving about this series: It’s kind of like the Advent series with the daily Finisher being the daily surprise. I go straight to the bottom of the exercise list to see what’s in store today. Always a bit nervous to see it, but then excited for the challenge. And so far, they’ve all been exactly that!!

I’m loving this format! Way to bring us back to the basics, Caroline! I’m focusing on my form and reflecting how far I’ve come with each workout! I have to confess, the finisher stresses me out… I’m too competitive for my own good and start doubting myself, so I just hit pause on the video, do my finisher, and then join you for the celebratory stretch!

These workouts are so much different than what I did in the past. I love that there is no talking, just the timer and that works for me because it makes it so much easier to concentrate and get the most out of each rep. I kept thinking IF this is workout #3 what will workout #30 be like?!! 3 times during this workout I wanted to quit - one voice inside me said QUIT - the other louder one said NO, you can do it and I did it and I am so happy I did!!!
Good workout! I'm bouncing all over not really doing one specific series lol love the pace of the movements really allows me to get the mind body connection. The stretch at the end really needed that lol thank you!

This is my favorite glute workout thus far. The moves were so well laid out and paired together. Loved the kneeling knee leg raises. The finisher was fire 🔥
Omg!! my glutes are on fire 🔥 The hip thrust is a killer. I used 12 kgs kettlebell today. I also did 20 mins add on 💪💪 Thank you CG. It’s an amazing workout.
I don’t think that I would be able to do the 100 hip thrusts at the end…but I did!!! Caroline this workout killed but in such a good way! The people who haven’t found you yet are missing out!!
Caroline I'm literally destroyed!!! That was tremendous🔥🔥.... ALL your glutes workouts are tremendous!!!!... and the formula complex is really very challenging!!! And then.... we want to talk about the 100 rep hip trust😵? Also done the optional add-on..... I was tired but I challenged myself💪... Now I just want to rest🥱 but I still have all day to deal with😰!
A 25KG DB and a Gluteband is probably my least favourite combination in all the EPICs, however, I do them because I know I should, they are part of the program and it takes sheer grit for me to get through. Felt good after I finished. Did the Arms Superset 💪 straight after
Your least favourite is my most favourite 😂 Love the combo of band + heavy dumbell + thrusts 🔥🔥 I haven't done this yet. I slept through my alarm yesterday 🥴 and was on a 12 hour so no leeway to do any other time. So did yesterday's, today and will do this in the morning. Cant wait 😂😂
😆 it’s interesting as I really look forward to it but when I’m actually in that band, I think I’d love to be doing shoulder press or something as it’s pretty intense! But you did it!! It’s always so good after though!! Literally wee buns!😉 Happy New Year Anthony!! Cx

This was TRAUMATIZINGLY HARD hahahaha i did the whole thing but definitely took sooo many pauses although i workout since 2 years every single week now. I used 10 kg for the dumbell and it was already super hard, but i kept in mind that i'm still young and that it's okay so long as i'm moving everyday:) im going to go through the whole program and at the end i'm sure i'll have it easier w this workout
Done with a 25kg barbell. I used a heavy glute band for most of the workout, but I had to switch to a medium glute band for the finisher because my glutes were just too exhausted! Also my quads are still sore three days after Day 1! 🔥

Whew I’m sore like when I first started EPIC 1 a year ago! This is the best possible way to start the year. It’s putting me back into a zone of focus and determination for my all around life. Thank you Caroline. A year in and you honestly have changed not just my body and muscles but my structure to a daily routine and confidence for every area of life.

Wow, wow, and wow! I have trained my glutes in evert conceivable way, including heavy gym lifting and functional bodyweight style, but CG’s glute workouts always challenge me! This one was particularly a killer, super sore today and my glutes don’t get sore that frequently
I love glutes workout because the intensity depends on yourself… As Caroline says, it’s only as challenging as we decide to do it! We are going to work hard 🥵 and ONLY the glutes ! Legs still sore from Monday but let’s go!!💪🏼

Morning Caroline! Morning everyone! Despite taking all of Caroline's advice to avoid lower back issues, I still had trouble with my lower back, so I pulled out my stability ball and that made a huge difference. So if anyone else out there has lower back issues, use a ball if you have one instead of the chair. And if you have balancing issues on a ball, just prop it against a stable chair or sofa. My glutes are on fire! Thank you Caroline for being so epic yourself! Have a lovely day, everyone!

What a superb workout! I love working glutes and this 40 minute session had everything! The finisher was really challenging but fun to push on through the reps! Then I dud the add on with 3 kg ankle weights...and at the end my glutes had worked so hard I literally found it difficult to walk! Another brilliant workout, Caroline! Thank you! Matthew

I think I might need more glute specific workouts because I really felt strong and good during the leg day and the upper body workout but this one was almost killing me. Very intense! I loved the finisher!!! Thank you Caroline for these amazing workouts!! I wake up every single morning looking forward to the next workout and I always feel amazing and ready for the day after it!!

I have been repeating this workout once a week for 5 weeks now, the first time I couldn't finish the three-minute stints of hip thrusts with the 25 kg, and now I am close to completing the entire workout, every single rep. I have been working out for years and wanted a change from my heavy lifting routine, this is just as challenging if not more! I recommend you keep this workout in your rotation and see if you can get better each time, it's a great way to gauge your progressive overload. I am thankful these workouts are free and so well thought out.

Caroline, I believe you made a big impact on our lives, at least to me. First thing in the morning is to check today´s workout, it becomes a habit and we are only at day 3. You work so hard, it´s really impressing! Thank you for everything!
Who else crawled from one complex location to the next?!!🤣🤭🙋🏼♀️ What a burner! 🔥🔥 Parts of the workout flew by..parts seemed like time was standing still.😆But I still enjoyed the workout as a whole. The complexes were layed out great and I liked how we changed positions following each of them. The hip thrusts without the band, I honestly struggle with feeling it in the glutes..I know they are working but I feel it more in the quads. So I always love using the band, shuts off my quads more. I am getting a lot better at those one legged hip thrusts tho..day by day😁! That finisher was amazing to conquer. My legs struggled to hold that band out by the end but I did it! 👊🏻 Day 3 officially smashed!! Thanks Caroline. See you next time!
I also struggle to activate my glutes without the band. I was never able to activate my glutes at all prior to caroline and her tips. Now it's rather enjoyable to actually feel the glutes fire when working on them, but when I take the band off my low back takes over and my glutes don't fire. The tip before today's session about keeping the back flat and not letting the lower back arch really helped because I would always tip my pelvis at the top to get that extra reach, but that motion also makes my low back arch. Explains why hip thrusts always end up aggravating my low back.. but not today! I tend to use the band and alter exercises like the single leg work to keep my glutes under fire. Big Thanks to Caroline for teaching me the proper form to fix activation issues!

@@abril9875 I don't have a schedule or anything; it really depends on how I'm feeling. I aim to run at least a mile every day. Some days I run 6+ miles (I don't strength train on these days) but other days I only do a mile or two. I also often run before and after workouts as a warm up/finisher. I would definitely recommend taking it slow at first and experimenting to find a balance between strength training and running. Hope this helps and I hope you enjoy running!

I rarely comment but I have to say this was so tough mentally but rewarding to finish! I was a little bit scared of the 100 reps finishers when I was reading the program at the beginning of the week but they are my favorite part of this Epic so far!! after doing 3 Epic programs, I can't believe how much stronger I have gotten. This may ver well be my favorite glute workout. I hate them and usually avoid them because the are full of hip thrusts. This one was challenging and had variety which I really appreciate it. Probably going to be my go to workout for glute days.

What I am loving about this series: It’s kind of like the Advent series with the daily Finisher being the daily surprise. I go straight to the bottom of the exercise list to see what’s in store today. Always a bit nervous to see it, but then excited for the challenge. And so far, they’ve all been exactly that!!

These workouts are so much different than what I did in the past. I love that there is no talking, just the timer and that works for me because it makes it so much easier to concentrate and get the most out of each rep. I kept thinking IF this is workout #3 what will workout #30 be like?!! 3 times during this workout I wanted to quit - one voice inside me said QUIT - the other louder one said NO, you can do it and I did it and I am so happy I did!!!
Good workout! I'm bouncing all over not really doing one specific series lol love the pace of the movements really allows me to get the mind body connection.

This is my favorite glute workout thus far. The moves were so well laid out and paired together. Loved the kneeling knee leg raises. The finisher was fire 🔥
Omg!! my glutes are on fire 🔥 The hip thrust is a killer. I used 12 kgs kettlebell today. I also did 20 mins add on 💪💪 Thank you CG. It’s an amazing workout.

A 25KG DB and a Gluteband is probably my least favourite combination in all the EPICs, however, I do them because I know I should, they are part of the program and it takes sheer grit for me to get through. Felt good after I finished. Did the Arms Superset 💪 straight after
Your least favourite is my most favourite 😂 Love the combo of band + heavy dumbell + thrusts 🔥🔥 I haven't done this yet. I slept through my alarm yesterday 🥴 and was on a 12 hour so no leeway to do any other time. So did yesterday's, today and will do this in the morning. Cant wait 😂😂

Shaking during the 100 finisher, but so worth it. Such an incredible burn. Hip thrusts are so so effective at shaping the glutes. Thank you Caroline for an amazing session.✨❤️

Wow. I only wish my butt looked the way it feels right now! 🍑If I did this workout twice a week, I'd seriously have the butt of my dreams! This workout went by so fast I couldn't believe it was already over. And I didn't even cheat on the 100 hip thrusts at the end! Words can't express how grateful I am for Caroline!

Morning Monika wasn't it a real burner 🔥🔥 I went on to do add on also and used my new ankle weights. You should have heard the groaning I was doing towards the end😂😂 it is fun but ouch ouch ouch!!!!!

@@matthewalmond8274 well done Matthew. First time using ankle weights and they are tough. I didn't keep going like Caroline had a good few stops but what I did was a challenge to me. I feel like I have no lower body at the min 😂😂😂😜😜

This was TRAUMATIZINGLY HARD hahahaha i did the whole thing but definitely took sooo many pauses although i workout since 2 years every single week now. I used 10 kg for the dumbell and it was already super hard, but i kept in mind that i'm still young and that it's okay so long as i'm moving everyday:) im going to go through the whole program and at the end i'm sure i'll have it easier w this workout

Done with a 25kg barbell. I used a heavy glute band for most of the workout, but I had to switch to a medium glute band for the finisher because my glutes were just too exhausted!
Also my quads are still sore three days after Day 1! 🔥
