The movie looks sweet, funny and emotional. I'm looking forward to seeing it. The animation looks visually beautiful. The director of the film, Chris Sanders said he took inspiration from Disney classic animated movies and the works of Hayao Miyazaki, resulting in a stylized CG visual style that he described as "a Monet painting in a Miyazaki forest". The Wild Robot would also be the final film to be animated entirely in-house at DreamWorks. The studio would be shifting away from producing films in-house in their Glendale campus to relying more heavily on outside studios after 2024.

My childhood is coming back (read the first 2 books between 2018-2019 in middle school band class and read the 3rd one back in March 2024). I’m planning to see this between October 4-6 (aka my birthday weekend) and I’m already sold for it just by the animation and nods to the source material (and its funny scenes like at 2:23)

This movie trailer is giving me a vibe of Wall-E and the plant seedling from Pixar. However, Wild Robot is more on animals and environment, which is exciting. Robots and Nature together are what these movies have in common. I hope you both noticed or realized it too, if you've seen Wall-E. Just wanted to share.🤖🌱🥚
