I have had 8 S2000s, I hope for a 9th, but if they are Evs, I will never buy another. Since Honda is involved in Indy Racing, I am shocked they have gone 15 years without any car in their lineup to represent a racing image. The Type R is a 4dr racing car, but 4dr cars do not meet the ideal image, which is why they never made a 4dr Corvette.
I’m looking to buy 1 and you have 8! I also have 2 Hondas (an accord an a pilot) and my girl says I don’t need 3 cars, but you have 8, I’m not listening to that lady! I want an S2000 & I still need a V8 muscles like a Charger, Challenger or Camaro/Vette. Also was just looking at an S500. I need a million bucks lmao
Kinda defeats the attractiveness of the S2000 to me. It was mechanically unique for having such a high revving engine stock in a car. So if they're just dropping in a civic engine then Im not sure what it'll even have that makes it stand out apart from, say, the new supra.
Is this comeback a good choice of Honda? 👇
Yes - absolutely. All the JDM boys from the 90's are now fat middle aged adults with a combover. :D
It's great to see Honda coming back with a legendary model, the question is whether it will make an outstanding car again after 25 years.
Is there any actual proof of it coming back? All I can find online are hypotheticals and nothing official

Ah you said you’ve had 8, not owning 8 at one time. Lol got it
It will never happen. Honda has no plans for a new S2000.
